Complaint: XXXX XXXX from FCO debt collectors called me on a shared work phone in the middle of an office full of people and when I told him it was a work phone, refused to stop interrogating me. He told me that I had to call him on my lunch break in order to not endanger my employment. This felt like a threat. I also felt highly embarrassed as everyone in my office could hear the entire conversation.
Further I have evidence the debt is not valid.

Complaint: FCO Fair Collection Agency Has contacted me several time trying to collect a deb on a property back inXX/XX/XXXX that by the original creditor I am no longer financially obligated, A letter was provided to the collection agency after requesting validation of debt, I contacted this creditor several time including XXXX to request for them to stop calling my office and my family and friends, After speaking with one of the financial complaint officers After scream at me and using offensive language, he advised that he's only job was to make sure this debt was collected and he did not have any time to resolve or canceled or clarify this error. requested original signatures validation of debts and this documentation was never provided to me.
On XXXX XXXX XXXX was contacted at XXXX by this collection agency demanding and requesting my personal and new home address and telephone number, when the collector was asked about my debts the information was provided without my authorization. I contacted FCO and they continue to treat me over the phone like they did not have record of me contacting them..
I submitted proof and all necessary documentation releasing me from this collection account credit B removed this collection twice from my report after investigation was initiated, and they continue with harrasing me over the phone.
I have communicated to this collection agency that I have file a complaint and they respond was, ( EVERYONE CAN FILE A COMPLAINT WE DON'T CARE BECAUSE THIS AGENCIES NEVER RESPOND )

Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Complaint: I retired, down-sized and moved to the XXXX apartments, XXXX XXXX XXXX, # XXXX, XXXX OH XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) onXX/XX/XXXX. I paid my rent on time every month during the time I resided there. On XX/XX/XXXX, the lessor raised the " utility service fee '' via an undated notice that was hung on my door. However, the rental contract ( utility services addendum ) requires the lessor to provide at least 30 days ' notice before implementing a fee increase. That is a material breach of contract by the lessor. I confronted the lessor 's property manage onXX/XX/XXXX and again on XX/XX/XXXX when I paid my rent for that month. At first, she denied the infraction, but later acknowledged it, blaming it on a temporary employee. She also acknowledged receiving numerous complaints about the issue from other tenants, which I confirmed in conversations with two of my neighbors. The property manager declined to rectify the situation, at which time I told her that I would terminate my lease early and without penalty because of the lessor 's material breach of the lease, which she acknowledged. After I gave written notice of intent to vacate on XX/XX/XXXX and moved out before XX/XX/XXXX ( my rent was paid in full through that date ) following their material breach of the lease, I received no further communication from the lessor. I did provide the lessor my forwarding address, email address and phone number. Then on XX/XX/XXXX, I received a bill in the mail from a collection agency, Fair Collections & Outsourcing ( XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX MD XXXX ), for {$1000.00}, identifying the Woodlands and XXXX XXXX XXXX as the creditor. Note again that I never received a bill from the lessor in the first place. It is also customary practice not to turn over debts to a collection agency until 90-180 days have passed. Furthermore, XXXX has, of this writing, committed multiple violations of the FDCPA, including calling both my mother and sister and failing to identify himself and his employer when requested. The caller 's number, XXXX, has been verified as XXXX 's number.

Complaint: I contacted the original lease company about the debt and found that my social was NOT on the contract. I am a XXXX and the XXXX has the debt. The collection company found my social ( without the lease company the debt is from ) and has been contacting me for the money. I contacted them to express it is not mine, and they insist that I must jump through hoops to get my social removed including an identify theft report that is not necessary because my social was NEVER used for the lease. I contacted the original company to confirm that my social was still not associated with this debt, and they again confirmed and forwarded to the debt company that it is not me. They have contacted me again and will not correct THEIR mistake and illegal look up of my social and credit scores. ( The woman from the debt agency told me that she had every right to look up my credit score without my consent after illegally obtaining my social security number )

Attempted to collect wrong amount
Complaint: I received a move out bill dated XX/XX/2018 from XXXX XXXX XXXX The Residences at New XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX MO XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX for {$450.00}. I responded to the letter, notifying them why I was only paying {$71.00}. They never scheduled a move out walkthrough with me. They charged {$340.00} for carpet replacement. i lived there for 39 months. Normal wear and tear.
I never heard back from them. I received a bill from FCO that was dated XX/XX/18 in the amount of {$830.00} more than double the bill they sent me. As i stated, the only bill i received was dated XX/XX/18 for {$450.00}. I contacted FCO on XX/XX/XXXX and emailed them my bills and what the situation was. They said they would speak with XXXX and get back to me.
I have not heard anything to date but now know there are other residents that experienced a similar experience as mine.
Thank you.

Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Complaint: FCO has reported a collection on my credit report this year. I had no idea that I had a collection because I pay all my bills on time. I reached out to FCO who collected all my personal info, confirmed my address with them then stated their harassing calls to my home and work demanding a payment. I never received any collection letters I didn't know I could dispute the amount ... I finally gave up and agreed to pay the amount in lieu of deletion. FCO agreed to settle but did NOT issue any settlement letters or deletion letters. FCO told me they would only issue a deletion letter if I paid immediately over the phone, which I did. Now they are refusing to issue any letters or to delete this account in its entirety from my credit report. I paid but didn't get what we agreed on. Still no letters from them, please help ...

Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Complaint: I have disputed this account, because it is inaccurate, I have also requested validation of the debt. In communication with the XXXX XXXX and XXXX, I made the process, having no results and return this account as verified, formally request, debt validation, instead XXXX XXXX responds with a letter, to send you a copy of my report credit and underlining or mark the errors, is not only that, is to request verification with documents that carry my signature and did not respond to it. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), you are required by federal law to verify, through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract, any and all accounts that you post on a credit report. Otherwise anyone paying for your reporting services could fax, mail or email in a fraudulent account. I demand to see verifiable proof ( i.e. : an original consumer contract with my signature on it ) that you have on file for the account listed below. Your failure to positively verify these accounts has hurt my ability to obtain credit. Under the FCRA, unverifiable accounts must be removed and if you are unable to provide me a copy of verifiable proof, you must remove the account listed below.

Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Complaint: I noticed Fair Collection And Outsourcing ( A debt collector ) listed on my Credit Report who is attempting to collect on a debt that is the subject of pending litigation in XXXX XXXX Case # XXXX with the original creditor. I am writing this complaint because this company simply inserted this on my Credit Report without giving me any notice or any information. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act FDCPA. I am also requesting that this company not call me and to communicate by mail only. This debt is inaccurate and can not be verified because the information provided by the orignal creditor is false.
