Complaint: This is in reference to DIVERSIFIED CONSULTANTS. I recently noticed an open collection account on my consumer credit report from DIVERSIFEID CONSULTANTS and I do not know this company nor was I ever contacted by this company to pay or make an arrangement with this company. I noticed the same account from DIVERSIFEID CONSULTANTS on my credit report last year but then it disappeared. Now I see this company show up on my report again AND again without any formal written notice and this time the collection debt has a different opening balance date. This company DIVERSIFIED CONSULTANTS is playing around with my credit information and I am afraid my identity has been compromised because of it. I have also submitted a letter of debt verification to this company which they have yet to respond to.

Complaint: I pulled all 3 of my credit reports to find out what was showing on them, as I hadn't done it in a long time. I was shocked to see accounts that I do not recognize, including companies I've never done business with. XXXX of these was : Diversified Consultants The address listed on the credit report is : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX The account number that they are reporting is " XXXX '' I was advised to send a " Validation '' Letter to them to validate the debt under the FDCPA and FCRA . I have attached the letter with my complaint. I mailed it " Certified Mail '' so that I would be able to verify that they received it. XXXX tracking shows that it was delivered on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX. I have also attached a copy of the " Certified Mail Receipt '' so that you can see the tracking of this letter. Under the law, they had 30 days after receiving the validation letter to respond to my letter and validate the debt that they're reporting to the credit bureaus. It has been 53 days ( Today is XX/XX/XXXX ) and they have not sent me anything at all. I have given well over the 30 day window for them to correct this and validate this debt they're reporting, but they have not done so. Please note that before sending the validation letter to this company, I also sent a dispute letter to all 3 credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ) and Diversified Consultants have NOT removed this account from my credit reports, or have sent me any kind of validation. I request for this company to remove this account from my credit reports immediately, as they have not followed the law, including FDCPA Section 809 ( b ), which carries a {$1000.00} fine for not validating the debt and still continuing to report it on my credit reports. Thank you for helping me resolve this matter.

Complaint: Diversified Consultants, Inc. Calls me multiple times per day. I have requested via their website contact form more than 3 times for them to stop calling my phone number. They continue to call every day, multiple times. I reiterated on the phone that I have requested to not be called anymore and it still happens. I have also never recieved any written contact from them explaining the debt they are attempting to collect. I want the debt verified and the calls to stop.

Complaint: I closed out my XXXX account in XX/XX/2018. I was informed that I need to wait for the coming month 's bill to pay a {$71.00} service fee ( for closing the account ) - the last bit of money I owe XXXX. 5 months later, I received a credit alert that my credit score has dropped 32 points by a derogatory report filed by Diversified Consultants. I have never received any communications regarding the collection so I was utterly shocked by the news. I called Diversified Consultants and was told that XXXX never updated my address and XXXX furnished them with my old apartment address. Hence I never received any notices on the attempted collection. I then paid my bill in full and asked Diversified Consultants to update the derogatory report, they told me that it is XXXX 's fault by not updating my address and refused to assist me.

Complaint: Hello, I am writing this because of an unethical collection agency, Diversified Consultants. XXXX imputed a collection account on my report due to a stolen cellular phone. I filed a claim directly with the insurance company, XXXX, for replacement of the phone ; but the claim was denied, ( However, we agreed to a payment plan until the account was settled ). Unbeknownst to me, XXXX closed the account and demanded full payment. While reviewing my credit report with XXXX XXXX, I found out XXXX had referred my account to a collection agency, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for a debt of {$1300.00}, reporting date of XX/XX/XXXX. I immediately launched a dispute, with the agency and it was taken off my credit report. On XX/XX/XXXX, while checking my annual credit report with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, I saw that a different collection agency, Diversified Consultants XXXX took over this account, but with a different reporting date. This is false reporting by this collection agency. They re-aged this account, after acquiring it from another collection agency, ( in an attempt to hold on to the account longer ; than the statute of limitations for the state of Florida allows, my legal residence ). This is an illegal activity, which has caused my credit score to decrease and my rights violated! This collection agency has not contacted me or attempted to contact me. This negative posting on my credit report has caused financial hardship on me. I want this debt taken off my credit immediately, or I will seek legal action. This action has denied me from obtaining credit, purchasing a house, and denied jobs due to this illegal credit reporting. I have attached documentation to prove my claim.
