Complaint: I mistakenly sent my mortgage payment to previous loan servicer Ditech on XX/XX/XXXX. Since then I have called them more than 10 times and have not received my check back. Everytime I call, I get a different answer. I have been told the check was mailed on XX/XX/XXXX and then was told on XX/XX/XXXX. Nothing came in the mail, I verified my address and it is correct. Supposedly a manager was working on it but when I call her she has to send email to another area to find out and then nothing happens unless I call them to get the same answer. I have even told them to check with Monetary department to look under unapplied account and overnight the check. No one seems to know what to do. I have now starting getting assessed late charge and collection calls from my current servicer. I admit I made a mistake but it should not take this long for a big company to cut a check. I have worked myself in a bank before and checks can be cut same day and overnighted.

Complaint: The past 4 years I have appealed and waited for XXXX and have been able to save my home. Following a Fully Favorable decision being deemed XXXX XXXX XXXX my check arrived late XX/XX/XXXX. I was attempting to reinstate my loan in full starting XX/XX/XXXXand was told they had to request a reinstatement total. I had not received the total and called repeatedly. I was told my request would be " escalated '' which would produce the total in 24 hours which I was promised for close to 1 month. I spoke with numerous representatives and supervisors minimally 3 times per week only to be told they were stumped as to why the RQ was not available. On XX/XX/XXXX. I received notice a NOTICE OF DEFAULT that had been filed with the County Clerk and XX/XX/XXXX received my reinstatement quote dated XX/XX/XXXX with an additional fee for the filing of the Notice Of Default. There was no question I would be paying all past due money and feel delaying me 30 days with lies was unnecessary.
It is common knowledge what having a Notice of Default filed generates. People knocking on your door, mail with postcards claiming how to save your home, phone calls daily. It lasts for months and is humiliating. I do not feel it is fair if I was attempting to pay being held in limbo for a month to allow for these extra charges and the humiliation involved. I expressed my feelings to many representatives was told it would be best to pay the fees becoming current then contest the charges. I did just that and did not receive any response other than the acknowledgment of them receiving my grievance.
My Reinstatement Quote was good through XX/XX/XXXX yet I learned after paying the XX/XX/XXXXpayment had not been included and needed to be paid immediately.
In addition the following month within my payment was additional late fees and an escrow shortage ( a cushion ) which had raised my payment to {$1400.00}, an additional {$200.00} per month. I have attempted to resolve these issues yet have been told there is nothing that can be done. This resulted in an extra {$3500.00} total extra that I had n't planned for.
A reinstatement quote should be just that, all missed payments, late fees, ect. My escrow is not going to fluctuate as I have new homeowners insurance and my taxes are not expected to change. A cushion of {$700.00} is excessive and not warranted.
Please review my account and hopefully I can receive credit for fees paid and have my payment revert to the amount prior to the escrow cushion.
I actively have an application for Tax Postponement being reviewed for XX/XX/XXXXand XX/XX/XXXX which I meet guidelines and am expected to have granted.
I am currently being evaluated for a modification and hope my request for review will not affect the outcome as I should be able to have my account reviewed without fearing retaliation.

Complaint: In my credit report it shows 2 late payment to my mortgage company ( Ditech ) with dates of XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX. During those times I was on military duty and submitted copies of my orders for that time period. However, it still shows in my credit report and I have requested the company to correct this issue. I submitted the documentation again and I have not heard from them on this issue. Under XXXX law, I am protected of such things due to not being available at the time of these issues. I have since paid them with the late fees.

Complaint: I have been trying to get a modification to save my home since XXXX. I have tried and tried and I have been in reviewing constantly sending documents and getting nowhere since at least XXXX. Finally I was told my file was complete and that I would have a decision within 30 days. That was on XX/X/17. It has been much longer than 30 days they are way over the time period they promised and are legally bound to meet. All they have ever told me since XXXX is that the file is under " manager review. '' They will never tell me what that means or how much longer it is going to take. I strongly believe they are just dodging my correspondence using stall tactics so that they can steal my home from me unlawfully. After many calls to Ditech I found out that the underwriter who has been stalling my line for over two weeks name is XXXX, and I am determined to find out the reason why XXXX ca n't follow the law and underwrite my modification fairly.

Complaint: Due to health issues stemming from XXXX and confusion regarding our previous mortgage lender changing to another we thought our payments were being automatically being made. This was not the case and we fell behind on our payments. We called and spoke to the company who instructed us to start making payments via mail. We did that and a few months later the checks were returned and our house was put up for auction.
The XXXX and XXXX led me to have a XXXX XXXX. We seek compensation for Ditech/Greentree for foreclosing on our home despite our compliance with their instructions.

Complaint: We have a Mortgage with DITECH and on XX/XX/XXXX. Hurricane XXXX hit our city here in XXXX TX . One week later XX/XX/XXXX we get a letter stating that we had an overage on our Escrow account. We are out of town at the time we spent 2 wks in XXXX and XXXX XXXX because we did n't want to ride thru the storm with our little kids, no food or lights.
We have been a couple already and did n't want to go thru this one seemed like it would be a bigger one than we have dealt with. Needless to say we did have a little water damage. Compared to others here in Town. I called in our insurance claim after we got back and DITECH said that they had rehimbursed our " Flood Insurance ''! They said it was because we were no longer in a " Flood zone '' which I have confirmed that there was no such change to our Flood Map! That was a lie and the reason we could not contact the insurance company our selves is that we were always paying our Flood Insurance and Hazard Insurance separate from the Mortgage Payment. This last year DITECH forced insurance on us and it was lower than the Flood policies we found ourselves. I never got a copy of the binder or policy from DITECH or Insurance company for that fact.
I have called DITECH and requested online for a copy of my old policy and they will not send to me. I suspect that they did n't have an insurance policy during the time they said they had a policy and tried to hide there tracks by giving me the run around.
I am tired of being given the run around and am seeking help to fix our house which we thought we had insurance for and we were paying them for. I do n't know what we can do at this point since I feel like we are at there mercy and it does n't seem like they want to help us out when we need it.

Complaint: Ditech Financial LLC is still showing my XXXX mortgage loan as a charge off on the credit bureau. This account was started with XXXX XXXX XXXX and was transferred over to Ditech Financial LLC. Ditech is showing this was last reported in XXXX, however this account was paid in full in XXXX when my house was sold. There was a full payoff at that time and nothing was charged off.
Ditech has been near impossible to contact and get any information from. There are well over XXXX attempts at resolving this with them with no contact back. When I did talk to someone, they just keep transferring you elsewhere ... horrible customer service.

Complaint: Problem : Ditech is my mortgage company looking at the statement since XXXX and what I owed versus what I paid, unable to understand how the money paid was allocated and to whom because new statements reflect new/different charges. Also my Principle on XX/XX/2017 was XXXX and in XX/XX/2018 its XXXX but I paid XXXX in XXXX. I have called and was told it was being review and someone would get back to me but they dont and today was told to submit the request in writing but the agent was not sure about any details and when someone would get back to me. We were behind on our payment and since XXXX have been aggressive about catching up and last time we spoke, like the time, prior, and prior to that, was told to pay this amount and then you will be caught up. I think part of the issue is that inXX/XX/XXXX {$4500.00} was reapplied to my account. This is money what was paid and applied prior inXX/XX/XXXX. In XXXX of XXXX the money was backed out to my account, backing out monies from Principle, Escrow, advances or anything related to the loan and the remainder was applied to monies owed but I still think I am over charge and with details, I could understand if I am not, that is a possibility

Complaint: I have notified XXXX XXXX XXXX over 7 months ago via phone, and via email as they requested that they were reporting my information incorrectly. They notified the credit bureaus that I owed them a large amount of money that was past due, which they reported nearly {$10000.00} in arrears owed on the loan. They assured me they would correct this along with reporting to being late over 3 months. I have notified them on several occasions and even disputed the findings brought out in this complaint with all three credit bureaus. They send me a letter stating that they had changed this in all three credit bureaus, however, all three credit bureaus are reporting the same thing. Therefore, I know they did not change the information, but they lied to me and sent me a letter stating that they have taken care of it. I have called them to correct this problem over 7 months and sent them correspondence requesting the change and investigation and they have not corrected the problem, instead they sold the message when I told them I was going to notify your agency. However, they are also reporting the loan open to XXXX Credit Bureau, so it make it look like I have more debt than I actually have, because Ditech is reporting the mortgage to XXXX and the new company XXXX XXXX are both reflecting on my credit report as open accounts, which is making my debt-to-income ratio higher than normal. I have tried to work with this company over 7 months. They have destroyed my chance to get a really good mortgage with a company who denied me based on these findings.
