Complaint: I am applying for a modification with Caliber Home Loans. I have submitted all required documents. But they have not postponed the foreclosure sale scheduled for XXXX XXXX. I am really worried they will foreclose and I will lose my home before there is a chance to review my application.
I have worked real hard to get everything in, even though there have been delays caused by Caliber. Every time I send something it takes them up to 5 days to even confirm if they received the documents. Sometimes they reject documents without any good reason. For example I sent a XXXX page fax on XXXX XXXX. I am attaching the fax confirmation page. I paid to send it from the XXXX store. The worker sending the fax noticed that one of the pages did not go through right. So she put that page at the end of the fax to make sure it got through clearly. Caliber said they did receive the fax, but because that page was on the end of the package instead of in the middle, they rejected the whole thing. Since it had taken a few days for Caliber to process and inform me they were rejecting the package, this caused a delay. I then had to re-send the whole package. Another time before that I sent an XXXX form and XXXX along with bank statements, XXXX forms, and other documents. Caliber rejected the whole thing because I had not faxed a page that was attached to the original form that had a " notice to borrowers '' but did not ask for any information from me. So I had to re-send all of that, again after several days of delay while I waited for Caliber to process the documents and then let me know they could not find those pages.
This is even more frustrating because earlier this year Caliber illegally foreclosed on my home. I made a complaint with CFPB ( complaint XXXX ) about how they broke FHA loss mitigation rules, failed to respond to the modification application I submitted through a HUD certified counseling agency, etc.

Complaint: I have a home mortgage with Caliber Home Loans. I 've been working with them on a loan modification. As part of the modification process, I 've fallen behind on my payments because they are refusing to take payments while the loan modification is in process. I 've submitted all the paperwork and responded every time they have asked me for more information. At the same time, they have initiated foreclosure proceedings and set a sale date for my house.

Complaint: Caliber Home Loans included an invalid XXXX tax ( XXXX ) into my XXXX/XXXX/XXXX escrow analysis. This tax was not included in my XXXX analysis by XXXX. My mortgage was sold to Caliber by XXXX in late XXXX. According to Caliber this added tax caused an increase in my yearly escrow payment from XXXX XXXX X XXXX XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX X XXXX XXXX to XXXX. This is a yearly increase of XXXX. I ca n't believe that adding in this bogus amount of XXXX caused an increase in my escrow of XXXX plus I would have a carryover balance of XXXX. So now the total increase is XXXX, XXXX My monthly mortgage payment will increase from XXXX a month to XXXX per month. In my opinion this is borderline fraud. I have talked to XXXX Caliber representatives and I was told that it would take from XXXX to 30 business days to remove the XXXX. No one could tell me why my escrow had incurred such a huge increase. My monthly escrow should have remained at XXXX, since there was no increase in my XXXX taxes and insurance. As of XXXX XXXX, XXXX my mortgage statement shows an escrow balance of XXXX, with a XXXX escrow payment of XXXX to be collected and a tax payment of XXXX to be disbursed, also in late XXXX. This should leave a balance of a plus XXXX going into my new XXXX escrow year. During the XXXX XXXX - XXXX escrow year, my escrow account did not reach a minus balance. And this company is increasing my monthly escrow payment from XXXX to XXXX.

Complaint: My home is under foreclosure and a short sale has been in place since XXXX XXXX, 2015. We are dealing with a negotiator at Caliber Home Loans who changes her mind weekly about accepting or not accepting an offer. We have a XXXX lien which is requesting a specific amount of the loan to be paid towards them. Caliber previously agreed to paying them from the short sale and now is forcing us to use our relocation fees to pay for this XXXX lien.
Meanwhile, another motion has been filed by Caliber to proceed with foreclosure. We can not seem to get this finalized once and for all. Our realtor has done all he can to work with Caliber on a resolution but to no avail.
This process has been more than emotionally draining and frustrating. We are trying to avoid foreclosure and it does n't seem Caliber wants to cooperate and this particular negotiator seems to be the problem.

Complaint: We received a Loan Modification Approval in XXXX 2016 from Caliber Home Loans. They required a reinstatement fee / good faith payment of {$2300.00} by XXXX XXXX, along with the documentation for the modification. We sent the executed modification documentation along with the fee, via cashier 's check and XXXX, which was received by Caliber on XXXX XXXX, as verified by XXXX delivery tracking. On XXXX XXXX, we were notified by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that Caliber had submitted a bid to purchase our home at Foreclosure Auction on Wednesday XXXX XXXX ( 2 days from now ). We 've been advised by XXXX that we should file a complaint against Caliber for " dual tracking our loan '', which is what we are officially doing with this communication.

Complaint: Due to an extreme hardship & divorce I fell behind with the mortgage. Caliber Home Loans who has just recently purchased my home from XXXX XXXX has a foreclosure and sale date of XXXX XXXX on my home even though I was working with their loss mitigation Dept to try to modify the payment they accelerated the foreclosure and I have n't even been given the chance to work out options with them. I have n't even been given options! I received the application & a letter of approval to submit a modification application from them dated XX/XX/XXXX then got a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX that my application was denied cause I did n't turn in documents. Really a day later. That seems deceptive & misleading if you ask me. And they are n't honoring the chance I was given to Try to modify before I got the accelerated foreclosure letter from attorney sent XX/XX/XXXX. I had already turned in an application because I did n't wait for the one dated XX/XX/XXXX to come in the mail, I printed one off their website. But now the sale date is so close & I am still trying to modify. It 's a race against the clock & see which comes first. But they are dragging their heels. I turned in all documents they requested. And everytime I call to make sure they got it I 'm told I need to send something else!! And it takes up to 5 days for them to upload it.

Complaint: I have a hard foreclosure date of XX/XX/XXXX and Caliber refuses to postpone the sale even though my agents have offered them a full payoff. The XXXX mortgage is with XXXX and they have verbally approved the amount, it takes a couple of weeks to generate the approval.
XXXX told my agents that they will make more money by foreclosing and not paying a commission or payout to XXXX. IS THIS LEGAL THAT THEY CAN FORECLOSE ON ME EVEN WHEN OFFERED A FULL PAYOFF? I know there is no guarantee with a short sale, but when offered a full payoff does n't a bank have to allow the seller the chance to stay in his/her home?

Complaint: MY MORTGAGE LENDER ( CALIBER HOME LOANS ) HAS DENIED MY LOAN MODIFICATION REQUEST AND THEY INSIST ON A SET OF WRONG ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT THE VALUE OF MY HOME!!!
CALIBER REVIEWED ALL MY DOCUMENTS AND THEIR MODIFICATION DEPARTMENT STATED THAT MY INCOME IS SUFFICIENT TO QUALIFY ME FOR ASSISTANCE PLANS, BUT THEY SAID THE VALUE OF THE HOUSE IS TOO HIGH.
I HAVE ASKED THEM REPEATEDLY TO PLEASE REVIEW MY EVIDENCES ABOUT THE POOR CONDITION OF MY HOUSE 'S INTERIOR, BUT CALIBER DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO AT LEAST PRESENT MY PROOFS OF THE LOWER VALUE!!!
THIS IS SO UNFAIR TO ME THAT THEY WONT EVEN LOOK AT MY OWN COMPLETE APPRAISAL!!!
THEY SHOULD AT LEAST JUST LOOK AT MY EVIDENCE, AND ALLOW ME TO PRESENT MY INFORMATION, AND THEN DECIDE IF I QUALIFY OR NOT.
