Complaint: Keep getting calls all day long from Macys Blloomies and MCCS which is also Macys. I do n't even have an account with them nor does any family members. Do n't even shop at Macy 's. Every time I block the number they call on another one. From what I have read others have tried to stop them but have n't been successful so I have n't bothered contacting the company. Not sure if it is really Macy 's or not. They just called again from this number XXXX and this is only one of tons of different numbers they use.

Complaint: Balance transferred ( via mai l ) f rom XXXX Bank to Citibank on XXXX / XXXX / 17 remaining principal of {$9200.00} prior to 0 % interest offer expiring on XXXX / XXXX / 17 ( 1st a ttachment ). Citibank did not post the balance transfer ( see Complaint XXXX ). Paid minimum payment of {$130.00} to Citibank for billing cycle that balance transfer was to pay-off. Reissued balance transferred ( via mail ) from XXXX Bank to Citibank o n XXXX / XXXX / 17 remaining principal of {$9100.00} ( 2nd att achment ). The second at tempt Citibank did post the balance transfer, thus fulfilling the remaining principal. Called Citibank to have them close my account and reverse the late fee ( s ) and interest, but as the last two attached statements show, they did not do the reversals. The account has now been closed, but the statements still show late fee ( s ) and interest.

Complaint: I opened an acc ount XXXX XXXX BrandSource card and Citibank took over. With XXXX XXXX I had credit protection on the card. When Citibank took over the account, I was never notified that my credit protection would be discontinued. As a result, I have been hospitalized and had XXXX and have absolutely no credit protection. I have always paid my account on time before becoming ill in XX/2016 and being hospitalized. I elected to have the credit protection insurance just in case something happened and to think you 're covered and find out you 're not has jeopardized my credit rating.

She has a SEARS card that she did use but stopped about 2 years ago and continued the payments as billed to her and her balance never went down. I have looked into her purchase history and nothing warranted the a approximately three thousand dollars. I believe that the interest and services fees are what kept her from minimizing the debt over the last couple years. Complaint: I have worked on this problem with Citimortgage since XX/XX/XXXX resulting in a severe runaround. If you XXXX " problems with Citimortgage '' you will see multiple web sites reporting the same situation I have experienced. In XX/XX/XXXX a man from Citimortgage called my Insurance company, XXXX and canceled my insurance putting their own insurance on my XXXX loan. Their insurance was 4 times the cost of XXXX. They then said my Escrow and Insurance accounts were drained and the only way it can be fixed is by doing a refinance which now they are calling a modification. The papers they recently sent are not the ones I signed because they do not show the Notary Seal. XX/XX/XXXX they were crediting {$150.00} towards my Principal which was at {$43000.00} .... now today they credit {$24.00} towards principal with a balance of {$53.00}. Loans decrease with payment not increase. Plus the paper they just sent says it wo n't be paid off til XX/XX/XXXX, this is impossible. It 's a 30 yr fixed begun in XX/XX/XXXX. Do the math. They are conducting a scam. Every time I call I 'm transferred multiple times and get no where. I have spent 6-7 hours on the phone for multiple days, weeks and for years since I discovered what happened. A lady from Citimortgage researched my file for four hours with me on the phone and she found proof that they were not crediting monies to my principal as the loan states. She set up a case with a report of what she found and scheduled a call back ... .when she did not call I called her direct number to be told she had been fired. I have asked for my file to be sent to me multiple occasions to be told they have lost my file and can not pull up my payment history. I opened over 15 '' cases '' as they call them, never to get any answers. I then noted main contact names at the top of my statements with contact numbers. I would call to find either they had been fired, or no longer in the department, or told they had never worked for Citimortgage. I have mortgage insurance and they have refused to tell me who that is so I can contact them ... .I asked who the President of Citimortgage is for notification and they refuse to give a name or way of contacting him or her .... ( I think it is XXXX XXXX . ) They have closed all of their Citimortgage offices so I went into several Citi Banks in multiple states and they say Citimortgage only exists by phone and most of the call stations are outside of the United States. I even quit making house payments in hopes of getting someone solid or real assigned to my account still with no success. By the way I have recieved boguss phone calls from XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and??? other countries around XXXX or XXXX XXXX wanting my Citimortgage information. I have shown my loan documents to professional loan companies and they all say I have major problems, the docs do n't look real, and by their calculations I should owe a lot less than {$53000.00} ... .around 27,000. So in good faith I called to pay off my loan and end this nightmare and still no return calls, no instructions in how to do so, and their Bank said they could not take the payment. I got two different woman on the phone that stated they owe me money and they put me on hold to figure out how much money was owed to me only for a supervisor to get on the phone and hang up on me. I ca n't tell you how many times they just hang up. This has reached EMERGENCY STATUS! I have read of several who gave up and walked away from their homes. Citimortgage should be held accountable like XXXX XXXX. There needs to be a detailed investigation I 'm not the only one!

Complaint: On or aroun d XXXX XXXX ,201 7, I contacted the Customer Service Department for Citi Simplicity Card at XXXX to resolve an issue pertaining to a balance that was exceedingly high and a minimum amount due that was unusual and different from the minimum amount I had been paying for the past 3 years I have been a customer. According to the website, the minimum amount due was {$8700.00} and it stated that it was past due when I already made a payment prior to the XX/XX/XXXX wh ich is the usual due date for such account.I was given the runaround and was hung up on several times. I informed them that I would file a consumer report on them and only after I told them so did they inform me that I had to make the payment of {$170.00} to satisfy the minimum amount due for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX ; they also informed me that they would notate my account as current and not past due. However, since XX/XX/XXXX , the y have been calling me from XXXX to inform me about my past due account for the month of XX/XX/XXXX wh en I was told that the {$170.00} payment I made on XX/XX/XXXX would cover XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX . Every day since XX/XX/XXXX , they would keep harassing me at all hours of the day about my account that they kept saying was past due when it was agreed upon that it was current. I called them on XX/XX/XXXX and the Customer Service Department gave me the runaround and told me again that it was past due for XX/XX/XXXX .

Complaint: I was erroneously charged multiple fees to my Macy 's store card account beginning in XX/XX/XXXX ; no other balance was held on my card and my account is now being reported as delinquent based on the multiple fees posted to my account. I paid off my Macy 's account in XX/XX/XXXX, or at least I was under the impression that I had paid off my account ; however, due to Macy 's billing cycle, I had a remaining balance of {$3.00} that was paid on XX/XX/XXXX. The first fee I incurred was on XX/XX/XXXX for {$27.00} ; that fee was a returned check fee. The balance that I paid of {$3.00} was never billed to my account again because it was paid. I also never received a bill for the returned check fee. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was charged another fee in the amount of {$27.00} as a late charge for the previous returned check fee. I also incurred a {$2.00} finance charge for the fee. Once again, I did not receive a bill for the fees and interest charged as a result of those fees. On XX/XX/XXXX I was charged another late payment fee in the amount of {$37.00}, and on XX/XX/XXXX, a second interest charge of {$2.00} for the fees. At that point, my account had a balance of {$95.00} that was entirely associated with fees. <P/>I was finally notified the week of XX/XX/XXXX via autodialed calls multiple times per day that my account was in a delinquent status. At that time I attempted to speak with a representative, but no option was provided other than to pay through the automated dialer service. On XX/XX/XXXX I called Macy 's store card customer service and was connected with a representative outside of the U.S. I asked to be transferred to a representative in the U.S. that would better understand what I was stating about my account, but was told that option is not available. Additionally, the representative I spoke with assured me that no negative information had been, or would be reported to the three credit bureaus. That was a lie ; I checked my reports and my score has dropped dramatically due to Macy 's reporting my account as 30 days delinquent for the erroneous fees that I was being charged. The representative that I spoke with on Friday removed all fees from my account and stated that my balance would now be correct and reflect a {$0.00} balance. He also repeatedly stated that I should not worry as my account had not, and would not, be reported as late to the credit reporting bureaus. That was a completely false statement.

Complaint: Since I 'm a Costco Wholesale Club member I did try to get the Costco Anywhere Visa accou nt, which is administered by Citigroup , Inc but my application has been rejected because I filed for bankruptcy more than 13 years ago and in the process, its was included a previous account I had with Citibank. It looks to me as if they do consider filing for bankruptcy as an illegal act and I would like you to clarify my thoughts on this matter.I did send a letter to them dissenting with the decision they did take and remembering to them that Citigroup , Inc. along with others finances institutions almost sank the whole economy in the USA i n XXXX and did n't file for bankruptcy itself because the government by the time granted them the astronomical amount of XXXX . Ir onically, I do have a Best Buy credit account which is managed by Citigroup and by the way, my credit score is more than XXXX .
