Complaint: On XXXX, XXXX 2019 I received a letter in the mail from " Credit Collections Services '' stating that I owe {$530.00} for an unpaid bill from XXXX. The letter was dated to XX/XX/2019. I can confidently say I have no used XXXX within the past XXXX years. I immediately checked my XXXX account to see if I had any collection inquires. Nothing was reported as of XX/XX/XXXX. I called the number that the Credit Collection Services provided to me, they asked me various personal questions they should have had, including my name and address. I asked them if I could make a payment, and continued to ask them what the date on the collection was from. They said XX/XX/2019. I asked them what the bill was for, they said they could not disclose it. I asked them what was the address of the XXXX location in which I had a bill from. They were not aware of this address. Their website is also an unsecure website. I am aware of the recent breach in security in XXXX and do not want this to happen to anybody else.

Complaint: I have credit monitoring and received an alert that there was a collection account placed on all 3 of my credit reports in the amount of {$100.00}. I called Credit Collection Serv to inform them that I had no knowledge of this account and further, that I had never received notification of this account in the mail or otherwise prior to them putting it on my credit report. They told me the account was for an insurance policy with XXXX. I told them I do not have insurance through XXXX ; my policy is with XXXX. The vehicle they told me the policy was for, I do not own. I demanded they remove this notation from my credit report, but they have failed to do so. I am not sure which is more concerning : having a collection in my name for a car that I do not own, or having an account pop up on my credit reports with no prior notification of the account, in violation of the FCRA. This account needs to be removed from my credit reports ASAP as it is currently impacting my ability to obtain credit and is a FCRA violation.

However, recipient contacted doctor 's office and hospital network to confirm that the original payment was received on XX/XX/2019 for the amount of {$25.00}. Receipts are available upon request. The hospital network that conducted the lab tests and received payment stated that the Credit Collections Services and creditor ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) listed were not agencies it recognized or used. Doctor 's office also confirmed that full payment was received and suspected a scam. Upon further research, XXXX XXXX , XXXX was breached in XX/XX/2019 and released thousands of patient names, SSN, billing information, etc. It is suspected that this breach allowed personal patient information to be leaked and obtained by Credit Collections Services to impersonate healthcare providers to request overdue balances. Credit Collection Services also lists : " According to our client [ XXXX XXXX , XXXX ], the above referenced amount is unpaid. As a result your account has been placed with this office for collection. We look forward to working with you to resolve this matter. Thank you. FEDERAL LAW : Unless you notify this office within 30 days of receiving this notice that you are dispute the validity of this debt, or any portion thereof, this office will assume the debt is valid. XX/XX/XXXX, I got on line to see if I could change anything to get the cost down. I was'nt driving my XXXX XXXX. Because wasnt driving it, I didnt replate the XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. So they can refund the year on this XXXX. XXXX XXXX was able to remove XXXX but not XXXX XXXX or XXXX . Would not allow me to. When XXXX went away the monthly cosy for that acc. XXXX went from XXXX a month to XXXX. Then the XXXX went from XXXX to XXXX a month. This was outrages I cant afford XXXX $ and there was going to be the XXXX come out on the XX/XX/XXXX so this is when I called them. Ive known my premium had been high but I thought it was becuase we had gotten two new vehichles. I must have talked with three or four poeple at XXXX and none got any clue or something. I asked if they could do better than XXXX and they said XXXX Well on the XX/XX/XXXX when I was trying to reslve this my wife had found some one to cover the XXXX XXXX and the XXXX XXXX XXXX for XXXX a month ( quite a differance huh? ) Whos getting XXXX? Then they want proof that XXXX didnt live at our address, which I provided. Plus she had her own vehicle. It was a XXXX XXXX As soon as she move out that car was off my ins and she shouldve been too. Now here we are. I could not get any where with these people Got hung up on. Even by a Supervisor twice. Now XXXX thinks I owe them XXXX and they threatened to take it to collection. They even sent me a payment schedule. They told me XXXX was taken off my policy I said when they said XX/XX/XXXX. They also said my one policy XXXX on the XX/XX/XXXX was canceled on the XX/XX/XXXX, I said No That was canceled on the XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX by me calling my bank and blocking payment. In closeing, now that Ive looked at my past three years withdrawals from my bank. I dont understand why one month would be XXXX. $ more than the last month when no claims made just normal withdrawals? Id like to have someone that knows how this works and need be Ive got every bank statement back to XXXX. I feel that Ive got a refund of what looks like a few hundred dollars. They didnt remove XXXX till the XX/XX/XXXX but stil thought I was going to pay them XXXX a month. You can see the diferance in the Policy Activity compared to my EBT withdrawals they dont match. Complaint: I was a reluctant customer of XXXX for over 5 years despite the terrible service I received. We had cable internet and home security. From day one our home security was terrible. It was giving off false alarms and the police would have to be called. The internet was never as strong as we were told it was going to be despite paying extra for the boost service. I decide to disconnect my service and go with another provider. I paid my last bill and switched over. Months later I see that XXXX has submitted an entry to the credit bureaus of an unpaid debt. I contacted XXXX several times to figure out what this debt was and why I never received written notification of the debt. When I turned in my equipment I was never informed about a balance or anything. There was no written communication after that point. I have tried to resolve the issue although I feel XXXX is at fault for failing to notify me of any charges after I disconnected my service, XXXX is refusing to remove this from my credit report even if I pay the balance in full. They apologized if they dropped the ball, but the most they could do is update it as paid in full, This is unacceptable. I reached out to the collection agency that now has the account Credit Collection Services to get more information about the debt and they told me very little information as well other than they are collecting for XXXX. I tried to explain that I never received written notification that of this debt. I tried to resolve the issue requesting the full deletion of this from my credit report if I paid in full. They said they don't have the power to make that happen. I know that they have the power to negotiate those terms but they wouldn't even talk about that. This is affecting my credit and I am in the process of purchasing a home. I am willing to pay the account in full although I take no responsibility for the charges, I was not properly made aware of the charges and was not given the option to dispute the charges in a timely manner.

Complaint: Credit Collection Services of XXXX MA, has sent a notice of debt from a company I have never dealt with. The cable company does not even do business in my area. I have lived at the same address for over 20 years, so did not recently move leaving unpaid bills. The letter states that if I do not notify them that I dispute this erroneous bill, they will assume this debt is valid. Apparently this company is known for the practice of sending out claims to anyone with a similar name. I have notified them in writing by certified mail that the debt is not mine. ( The cost of a certified letter, return receipt is now {$6.00} ). Credit collection companies should not be allowed to shift their burden of locating debtors to the general public. Their inclusion of a payment slip and return envelope for payment is misleading and deceptive to those who may not recognize the claim for payment is bogus. The debt collection company should be required to send documentation proving the basis or validity of their claim with the letter. For example, if this is a cable bill, state the address where the service was received. Thank you.

Complaint: I moved to XXXX from XXXX on XX/XX/2019 where XXXX does not provide service. When I called weeks before to cancel service for this reason, I was told that there would be no cancellation fee and that I would not need to worry. When I dropped off my equipment on XX/XX/XXXX, I also confirmed I did not owe any more money in person. On XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed I was charged a termination fee, called and they said they would have it removed. The next day, seeing no action, I used the chat function on their website to confirm. They told me that they had raised a " ticket '' and it would be taken care of. On XX/XX/2019, I received a bill with a balance of - {$1.00}. This led me to believe this was resolved and I carried on with my life. On XX/XX/2019, I received another bill with the fee back on the bill, showing that I owed {$220.00} all of a sudden. I contacted XXXX and they assured me not to worry and that this would be taken care of ( I have a copy of this chat and more ). This weekend, XX/XX/19, I received a letter from Credit Collection Services on behalf of XXXX, showing that they have sent this to collections. This is 12 days after I talked to someone again who assured me this has been escalated and would be taken care of!! Today, my husband tried to call while I was at work and they would not help him because there was no Supervisor working, and told him to call back in an hour, so I went onto the chat function from work. I was able to get with a " supervisor '' on their chat function who could only seem to copy and paste content from previous chats or contracts. He refused to see that a human being who worked for XXXX told me over the phone that this would be waived. Therefore, it should be waived. Instead, he continued to mention some " ticket '' that I had no access to and which status was never communicated to me, saying that " the resolution was valid. '' He refused to understand that I was told over the phone and in person that this would be waived, but instead just kept telling me " the ticket was resolved '' and the " charge was valid. '' He then tried to add my husband as a user so he could call in ( again I was chatting from work where I could not answer the phone ), said he was added in the chat ( saved ), then my husband called in and they said he still was not a user and they could not help him. They've been impossible to work with and I am at my wits ' end ( which you will see in the chats ). I have tried to communicate with them 8-9 times and there has been no resolution. They will see these attempts if they bother to look at the account that I have been trying to reach a final resolution since XX/XX/XXXX. I find this all to be incredibly abusive and misleading. Why send a - {$1.00} bill if you planned to charge me the fee? Why send me to collections 12 days after I clearly tried to reach out to rectify it and gain an understanding? Now, after the time wasted on hold or waiting on chats, and the XXXX XXXX of receiving the first collection letter I've received in my entire life, XXXX absolutely owes it to me to follow through on the original promise of waiving this fee. The only resolution here is for this to be waived. It's ridiculous that this took over two months to " resolve '' despite my constant efforts to understand, and XXXX XXXX solution is to fail to communicate with me but instead send us to a collection agency and hide behind that. They also need to make absolutely sure that Credit Collection Services NEVER reports this to the credit bureaus as I have made every effort to understand and resolve this. Complaint: I have disputed these collection items showing on my credit report before but then they keep reappearing. XXXX is showing 2 collections items on my credit report, NEITHER of them are mine or related to me. Prior Dispute Report # XXXX 1. Credit Collection Service- acct XXXX for XXXX- XXXX XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX Prior Dispute Report # XXXX 2. XXXX XXXX- # XXXX I have never lived in California , nor applied for or have had any interactions with these companies. I have also been a victim of ID Theft in the past which I informed XXXX of in my initial dispute. I tried contacting the above companies with the information provided on my Credit Report however they want my personal information. Since this is already an error I do not trust giving my personal information to a company I have no dealing with. I take pride in my credit and these items are not mine & want them removed. I also want a credit lock/block on my account going forward.

Complaint: After being denied credit, i pulled my credit report. As i reviewed it i noticed several bogus accounts listed. As such i disputed with the three bureaus. The collector verified the debt. I was never sent any notifucation letters or right to dispute communications from them. I therefore sent a dispute letter i. Accordance with my rights under the FDCPA which was ignored. Its been over 60 days and i have had no response. This is not my debt, the have willfully ignored and violated the FDCPA and laws. This continued to hurt my credit and inflict damages to me fininacially as well as my reputation.
