Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I noticed charges on my card that wasnt mine. I immediately reported at that time that i dont have possession of that card. Capital one put the credit back on my account after a 30 day investigation. After 60 days, capital one put the charges back on my account without me knowing about it. I have been denied business credit, charge interest that made my account go over its limit. There is camera footage from XXXX XXXX that shows a person that is not me nor my wife.

In 2014 I got a decision by the debt collection XXXX XXXX and XXXX that my debt met financial hardship and no further collection attempts were going to be XXXX because I opened a dispute capital one is starting collection efforts. The agent at recovery accounts for capital one said that capital one did not agree with the decision, no collection effort were attempted for 5 years, now that I opened up a dispute there starting collection efforts.the amount on this account is XXXX.

Complaint: I have several accounts that the balance is incorrect and on a couple the limit is also wrong. I am tried to dispute and I get the company has not reported the updated information to them. Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 XXXX Pension agency sent me a payment of EUR XXXX to Capital One Bank. An account number at Capital One Bank, which I have provided to the XXXX agency was incorrect. However, the bank has deposited money to this incorrect account despite the fact that the name on this account wasn't mine. In response to several requests to trace the transaction Capital One Bank finally notified XXXX agency that they are unable to recover money from that account. My personal calls to Capital One Bank always ended up with advice to contact the sender.
On XX/XX/2019 I have filed a compliant with CFPB and attached a letter from XXXX pension agency describing the situation and their activity to get information from the issuing bank and Capital One. Despite this letter, on XX/XX/2019 Capital One has responded with a completely formal letter, saying that they do not have enough information to identify the problem and recommended to contact an issuing bank. The bank employee who signed the letter also provided his personal phone number and asked to call if I have questions. Needless to say that when I called that number and left the message, nobody called me back ...
It shows that this institution learned well how to diminish effect of such requests especially because CFPB closed the case without any follow-up. Now I pushed to file another complaint because I do not know what else I can do.

Complaint: I have a dispute on a charge for {$73.00} on XX/XX/19 for XXXX I disputed this with Capital one as being a fraud case of shipping a XXXX cent item when I ordered XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX ad. It seems to be a bogus company that has defrauded many consumers. There is no contact number or website anymore. I reported this to capital one or help. Again Capital one has not help me on fraud case. I received a letter from Capital one today case number XXXX Account Ending in XXXX that they requested additional information, which I never received a letter or email from Capital One requesting more information since I made the complaint. I feel every time Capital One has an issue with a bogus company or trouble contacting the company in question, they just send a standard form letter saying case closed and we are reapplying the charges. I want this to stop and have Capital one make it easier for consumers to fight back. I want my charges removed at once since I did not receive my item.

Complaint: I've been trying to close my 360 checking for like a year I opened it over a year i half ago well something was put in my account by a friend I did tell them my friend had did it but it never was even accepted, a check that is. They rejected it cause he altered it by putting my name on it but it never deposited it even went thru. They had my account locked cause of a check if my friends was out into my account. Bottom line is they said I have to verify every other check I out in. I'm like XXXX well they won't close my account and I can't withdraw the money but phone automated says funds available are what the balance is XXXX well they refuse to talk to me I call they send me to voicemail or it jhangs up I just want my money n the account closed it's been sitting there for a year already or more cleared not return n they won't close it.

Complaint: -I responded to a letter I received in the mail In XX/XX/XXXX I from Capital One ( CAPONE ) offering me a Home Equity Line of Credit.
-On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from CAPONE Welcoming me to their Home, summarizing the terms of the approved Line of Credit.
-With the loan documents I provided CAPONE proof of Flood Insurance coverage though XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ), a policy valid through XX/XX/XXXX.
- A letter from CAPONE dated XX/XX/XXXX indicated that the flood insurance on my property had expired, that a new policy had to be presented within 45 days. Another attachment indicated the loan was going to be sold.
- On XX/XX/XXXX a phone call was placed to CAPONE disputing the validity of the notice of expiration of the Flood policy on my loan.
- On XX/XX/XXXX, the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX policy valid though XX/XX/XXXX sent to CAPONE with the loan documents was uploaded again to their loan portal.
-On XX/XX/XXXX CAPONE imposed a Flood Policy on my loan through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) for {$200000.00} with a {$6000.00} premium, valid from XX/XX/XXXX though XX/XX/XXXX. The total dollar amount I borrowed from the line of credit in XX/XX/XXXX was {$16000.00}.
-On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter of cancellation from XXXX XXXX policy effective XX/XX/XXXX.
- As of XXXX/XXXX.CAPONE sold its Mortgages to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ).
- As of XX/XX/XXXX XXXX started electronic withdrawal from my bank for interest owed, however the sum withdrawn was in excess of the interest. Numerous calls and letters were placed to XXXX to correct this situation ( XX/XX/XXXX though XX/XX/XXXX ).
-On XX/XX/XXXX to stop the unauthorized withdrawals I paid the outstanding $ XXXX loan.
-An additional {$870.00} was requested to cover the balance of the Flood Policy.
-In order to avoid foreclosure proceedings over {$870.00} I also paid this sum and requested immediate reimbursement upon verification of the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX policy with expiration on XX/XX/XXXX.
My complaint : - It turned that Capital One issued a Mortgage with Advanced Clauses instead of the line of credit advertised and authorized. I am in the advertising business. This is illegal practice called bait and switch. A line of credit is not the same as a mortgage.
That is why upon paying the balance on the loan XXXX closed it. I had opened the line of credit open to finance my business.
- FEMA confirmed to me that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX the company that issued the imposed flood policy is not registered with them. If the {$1200.00} taken from my account did not go to FEMA where did it go?
-I am still owed {$1200.00} plus interest for funds withdrawn from my bank account without my consent to pay for a flood policy that was in place.n -Capital One responded in writing that I have to deal with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX because they no longer own the loan.
XXXX XXXX XXXX to date has not reimbursed the {$1200.00} withdrawn from my account to cover the imposed flood policy.
