Complaint: this collectors name is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. i called them and asked them to dismiss charges on account as i have no knowledge of this account. It is identity theft i never opened it. Didnt get anywhere tith them could use your help getting this taken off of my credit report before id die of XXXX. My account is XXXX they are located in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX XXXX ca. Complaint: I had a savings account with Capital one 360. Every year i log on to get my tax forms. the last actual transaction was XX/XX/XXXX, a withdrawal. The account was there to accrue interest for me. That is what savings accounts are for. XX/XX/XXXX I logged on to close the account so I could transfer to another account. The account was closed. Capital One and NY State took my money in XX/XX/XXXX. I had to file unclaimed funds. Which in itself is absolutely ridiculous, but now NYS is saying that it is going to take 90 days for me to get that money back because they are backed up. Well if they didn't steal everyone 's money they would not be backed up. I need that money. My mother is XXXX in Florida, if there is an emergency I need to be able to access those funds. There was no notification at all.

Complaint: FOR THE PASSED COUPLE OF YEARS MY CREDIT KEEPS GETTING PULLED. I HAVE DONE SERVAL POLICE REPORTS ABOUT THIS ALREADY. I HAVE CALLED XXXX IN A COUPLE OF OCCASIONS. THE MONTH XX/XX/XXXX AND XX/XX/XXXX MY CREDIT KEEPS GETTING PULLED BY XXXX BOTH THE STORE AND THE CREDIT CARD. I WENT IN ONCE IN XX/XX/XXXX TO LOOK AT A BIKE. EVER SINCE THEN I KEEP GETTING MY CREDIT PULLED BY THEM EVERY NOW AND THEN. I HAVE FILED A POLICE REPORT ABOUT THIS ALREADY.

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: Beginning in XX/XX/2018, I was contacted in person by b XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I agreed to have them run my campaign on XX/XX/XXXX and placed a {$1500.00} down payment with my Capitol one Quicksilver card the next dayXX/XX/XXXXXX/XX/XXXX. We were supposed to go live XX/XX/XXXX and have a meeting. XXXX XXXX XXXX, their representative, and owner did not show up and did not return my calls.
On XX/XX/XXXX I called to dispute the charge with Capitol One.
XX/XX/XXXX Capitol one responds that they have heard from the merchant and that the claim was that services were rendered XX/XX/XXXX I contact Capitol one to say that I haven't heard from the merchant and would like to know how they reached them. Customer service rep says that merchant has agreed to refund.
I don't want to exhaust this issue, but Capitol one Can not give me a consistent wat to send them the information that this was a scam. They keep asking for a cancellation.
THERE'S NO CANCELLATION BECAUSE THEY TOOK THE MONEY AND RAN CAPITOL ONE! CAN'T ANYONE ON THE LINE UNDERSTAND THAT!
ANYWAY, I'm seeking relief from XXXX customer service people at Capitol one who lack the competency to process this scam issue. They see fit to reach out through the scammers bank but can not do anything normal to resolve this for me.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote a letter toCapital One as requested from all three credit bureaus after disputing a Capital One inquiry, I was told to contact the furnisher of the inquiry.
On XX/XX/XXXX I certified a letter asking for Capital One to provide a application letter giving my consent or permission to check my credit.
On XX/XX/XXXX I filed a CFPB complaint XXXX, with proof I contacted this company for this purpose.
Capital One responded on XX/XX/XXXX With references to other companies in their response without having a consent form or a application from these so called companys which should show my signature giving Capital One or these specific companies named in their statement permission.
Capital One Can Not Provide These Documents.

Problem during payment process
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX my Kohls charge card was due. Previously around the XXXX of that month I had set up Autopay and it did not go through for whatever reason. I noticed on XX/XX/XXXX and paid the {$27.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, when trying to make XX/XX/XXXX payment I noticed there was a {$56.00} minimum payment due to late fee. I called Kohls and talked to 2 representatives, and all told me they waived the late fee since I rarely miss a payment and am a preferred customer, however I would still have to make a payment of {$56.00}. The problem, I still have to pay {$56.00} on XX/XX/XXXX even though the late fee was supposedly waived.
1 ) On XX/XX/XXXX I set up auto pay, even though hesitant from bad experience in XX/XX/XXXX.
2 ) For whatever reason, autopay never took payment of {$27.00} on the XX/XX/XXXX.
3 ) I paid on XX/XX/XXXX, 2 days later, a payment of {$27.00} 4 ) I went to make a payment of {$27.00} 's on XX/XX/XXXX and noticed a late fee and min payment of {$56.00} 5 ) I called at XXXX XXXX on the XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke with 2 KOHLS representatives. Each representative told me they would waive the late fee, but I still have to make the payment of {$56.00} which is the late fee. I asked if they could waive it, they said they could not.
5 ) Each representative told me that the late fee goes to my total balance of {$1000.00}, and waiving the late fee takes it to {$940.00} 6 ) They still want to charge me a minimum payment of $ XXXX-this does not seem right to me.
7 ) When asked to speak to a supervisor, XXXX ( representative ) put me on hold and came back on with the same answer, not allowing me to speak with supervisor.
8 ) This is not the first time I have had problems with Autopay as Autopay took a double payment, on XX/XX/XXXX and I had to dispute that with my debit card company ( XXXX ). This occurred when I talked to a representative and they told me they could not do anything.
9 ) I have one late payment in the whole year of XX/XX/XXXX, and am a preferred customer at Kohls 10 ) If need documentation, i can provide.

Complaint: Hello, I filed a complaint against capitol one XXXX XXXX card ( original complaint at bottom ) at the start of the new year. This was with you all, as well as the XXXX XXXX XXXX. They quickly responded with the XXXX that this issue would be communicated with the CFPB, and it would be resolved swiftly and with ease.
However, my last update was from XX/XX/XXXX and since then I receive nearly - daily phone calls, texts of voicemails and voicemails from the company, debt collector XXXX. XXXX has grown so aggressive as to leave me profane, abusive and ugly voice mails which have sometimes been so nasty as to be illiterate.
The company has sent me counselor extensions and resolution opportunities, but when I have called I have received dead links, wrong extensions or otherwise inappropriate methods of communications. Every conversation I have had trying to resolve the issue ends with threats, strong arm tactics, general co - ersion or just XXXX XXXX XXXX.
I am quite frustrated and quite unsure of my rights and options. Any assistance in the matter is appreciated.
