Complaint: Good afternoon I am writing to file a complaint about Capital One credit card. I have XXXX capital one credit cards. I am very frustrated with there credit reporting. I have mad multiple disputes about showing two late payments for the same two months on both of my cards which is inaccurate and I also just paid off these cards and one card showed the balance went to {$0.00} after I paid it then two days later back up to {$310.00}. Their credit reporting is very inaccurate and frustrating and is hurting me as a consumer damaging my credit for their inaccuracies that they will have yet to fix multiple disputes later. I would like my balance to show my REAL balance of {$0.00} since I paid them off and to remove the two late payments off of both my credits cards right away.

Complaint: I have an account with Capital one Bank. There was {$340.00} in the account that I didn't touch for more than 3 years. When I check my account online on XX/XX/2019. I saw that I was charged {$180.00} by a company called " XXXX '' which I never heard of before. I was also charged {$44.00} for service fee by Capital one bank. I called Capital one bank 's customer service to dispute all the unauthorized charges, he said " We deposited a temporary credit ( s ) totaling {$180.00} into your account today, which are available for immediate use while we're looking into this. We're also adjusting your account ( s ) for any related interest, finance charges and/or fees within one business day. '' on the phone and in the E-mail, but Capital one bank never give me the related finance charges fee back which is {$44.00}, in stead, they charged me another {$8.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I called them 2 times after the first conversation I had with them. They switch me to 5 or 6 different people for the same issue with no answer still. I asked them 2 simple questions, if I can get my money back for the service charge? was it my fault the minimum balance was under {$300.00} limit when someone stole money from my account without my knowledge? none of them answered my question. they kept telling me I didn't keep my account with minimum balance, the bank has to charge me service fee.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, my credit was ran without my permission. I had been lied to and deceived by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, who had already previously ran my credit on XX/XX/XXXX. There was no need or permission given to XXXX to run my credit check a second time. As a result of XXXX 's violated action against me, my account received multiple hard credit inquiries from various auto lenders, which stay on your credit for 2 years, not to mention a reduction in credit score. I have attempted to contact XXXX, lenders, and credit bureaus, but I have only gotten the runarounds between these entities, with no resolution in sight. I was even told to file a police report from one credit bureau against these lenders if they were not willing to cooperate with me and help me remove unauthorized inquiries from my credit. I have not filed a report and hope that my complaint here will be resolved successfully, without any need to file a police report against these lenders- especially since XXXX was the one in charge and at fault in allowing this to happen. What's so disheartening is that after I was lied to by a XXXX rep and he ran my credit against my knowledge and permission, I was told by his boss that he would help me resolve the duplicate and erroneous hard inquiries made into my credit report ; but he flat out lied as well, and that left me with little to no option unfortunately.

Complaint: Reference Complaint ID : XXXX-XXXX Thank you for your assistance in my attempt to close out five savings accounts with Capital One. You have all this information in my complaint file. I attempted to call Capital One as per their suggestion after CFPB got involved. This was unsuccessful as I could not get through their phone maze. Thus their solution was no solution at all. Capital One has the written/signed letter from me requesting the close out of these accounts ( 5 ) and wire the funds ( c. {$64000.00} ) to my checking account. All this information is one their system. This has been going on for a month. This is unethical and illegal. Please intercede again in the expectation of finally getting this done.

Complaint: Capital One has put a late payment on my credit from XX/XX/XXXX. I was hospitalized for that entire month and the payment had been sent via mail however they had not processed and I had no notifications. Once out of the hospital everything got cleared up however they still hit me on my credit report as a late payment, I have never had late payment with them and still have the account open. The account has been established since XXXX XXXX XXXX has put 2 lates on my credit report XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I was involved in a lawsuit and in order to accelerate and end the lawsuit I was forced to not pay the mortgage as the other party kept making me make payments for a house that was no longer mine. We had an agreement with the party that title will be moved over at his name and he would take the mortgage and refinance me out within 6 months. I had no interest on the property and the other party needed to get it off my name. It went 6 months or more and nothing was done so I had to do a lawsuit. The mortgage company was aware of this and said its ok. Now I am hit on credit due to this issue.

Complaint: I paid a {$200.00} ( {$200.00} including fee ) deposit with a tattoo artist on XX/XX/XXXX which I ended up cancelling all appointments before any services were rendered. I then proceeded to call capital one to dispute the transaction and was given a temporary credit while they disputed with the vendor. In late XXXX I received a letter from capital one stating that the vendor had replied and that I needed to provide further documentation to support my claim, at this time the charge was also reapplied to my credit card. On XX/XX/XXXX I uploaded the requested documents to capital one 's website ( signed letter giving my statement and emails from when services were cancelled ). Per the letter I was to received a response in 10 business days but it is XX/XX/XXXX and I still can not get an answer. I've called on at least 7 separate occasions and have been placed on 15 + minutes holds to speak with a supervisor or the agents that I've talked to seem to be fumbling around and can not give me a concrete answer. I've also had the call be disconnected about 3 times and have even tried their chat support only to be told that the " secure connection was lost ''. I've been a long time customer with capital one and have never had an issue, I charge upwards of 25k on this credit card in a year and don't feel appreciated as a customer when a simple {$200.00} charge can't be refunded. I plan on taking this matter to the XXXX next if capital one does not sort this matter out.

Complaint: This particular credit card company has an XXXX XXXX cut off time for paying bills online. If you miss that time they charge you a {$25.00} late fee. Honestly I have missed this before, but I call the next day and they adjust it off. This time I was online getting ready to pay on XX/XX/2019 and it was a few minutes before XXXX XXXX. My internet went out and by the time I was back online it was a couple minutes after XXXX XXXX XXXX to be exact. I clearly remember this because I thought there is no way they are going to charge me for being 2 minutes late. Wrong! I received my online statement today XX/XX/2019 and they did charge me {$25.00} late charge. I called today XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX and they will not adjust it off, they said I have no wavers? I am guessing you are only allowed one waver every so many months that is why I have not had problems in past. I asked to speak to supervisor and she basically told me the same thing even if one minute late they will charge you. I asked to dispute this charge and she said they dont do that, you cant dispute late charge. I asked to speak to someone else and was told there was no one else I could talk with there was no one above her. I said you must have a boss and she advised they only do administrative work, frustrated I said thanks and hung up After hanging up the more I thought about this I do not have this problem with anyone other company I pay. I believe this might be this companys way to get people to pay more money on late fees with the XXXX XXXX cutoff time. I receive an email, but a lot of times I dont even get to my personal email until XXXX or XXXX XXXX. This is exactly why I have had to ask for help in the past, because I open email after the cut off time. Not only the time but the date its the XXXX due date, all of my other bills are due at end of month. I believe they are taking advantage of me and I am sure other customers by having this special due date and time. Then when calling and asking for help all the sudden they dont want to help. I have been working very hard to clean up my credit history for the past year, and I just recently jumped up by thirty points, this late charge is going to affect my credit history that I have been working so hard to improve.
