Complaint: 1. On XX/XX/XXXX, I deposited a check for US {$8200.00} from XXXX into my savings account. 2. Check was drawn on XXXX XXXX XXXX. It was issued by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX, XXXX, XXXX. 3. On XX/XX/XXXX, our savings account ( XXXX ) with Capital One Bank, XXXX, VA, was credited with US {$8100.00}. Please note that US {$62.00} were deducted. 4. I talked to Capital One Bank Branch Manager in XXXX and their customer support department representatives several times. Spent hours on telephone holds and got no answer as to why us {$62.00} were deducted and by whom. 5. Sent a written complaint on XX/XX/XXXX. Received a response, dated XX/XX/XXXX, stating, " ..payment dispute was not a result of a Capital One error. '' 6. Called to seek understanding several times. Complaint: Capital One prepaid and XXXX credit card are reporting twice and sometimes three times a month, lowering my credit score purposely. The XXXX of the month is when my prepaid is due and reported. The XXXX of the month is when the XXXX is due and reported. Since XX/XX/2018 the reporting has been repeatedly during a 30 day period when its only to be once a month. XXXX is working with Capital One and XXXX lowering my score by over 103 points in less than 6 months. Only raising it by 1 or 2 points and I pay my bills on time, pay off my debts early and keep all debts paid on time, yet my score is now, again XXXX from XXXX.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I applied and was approved for a Capital One credit card, up front fee I believe was {$95.00}. then I would get a {$200.00} credit limit. For nearly 18 months I have paid on time. There is a term which Capital One states if you make 5 monthly on time payments your will get a credit increase. I tried several times in XXXX to request a credit increase but was denied. I called Capital one and advised them of my attempts they stated I will not get a credit increase on this card. XX/XX/XXXX I made a formal complaint with Capital One and was correspondence with XXXX/XXXX from their executive offices. I showed him examples of their own promotion and statements that if made 5 monthly payments on time will get credit increase on the exact same card I have. He advised me to send via a secure link through my email, I did. I called to confirm receipt, he states he never received the information through the secure link, I advised him I sent it over 2-3 times. He still insisted he never received the proof. Earlier in our conversation he states that offer is only given to " random '' people, the system picks those people, I will just have to " wait and see if the system picks me. '' After sending the proof of Capital One statement - make 5 monthly payments and get increase, I call him and he states he never received information. I asked to resend or email he stated, No he did no want me to resend. I sent in their offer showing their claims, they denied it even though it was in black and white. I offered to resend, they refused to accept my correspondences showing proof they made this claim.

This is awful why have a system in place for consumers to apply in which it cant be verified at the time of application? XX/XX/19 between XXXX XXXX I called and spoke to a representative who was insensitive and was mimicking my voice and basically not professional to when I told him his conversation was being recorded he wanted to hang up. Capital one get people to sign up to basically take advantage of them. The man said I cant idenitify you so youre not getting your money .. These conversations should be monitored and recorded in which this one should have been because this rep XXXX! I just want my {$330.00} if they want to close the account after I withdraw my funds that would be great

Complaint: I was an authorized user on my fianc 's credit card for almost a year but I decided to have him call this credit card company to remove me from the account. When I was initially authorized and received my card in the mail, I was not able to activate the card. No reason was given from 1st day it was opened and remained that way after several failed attempts of trying to activate card. A month and a half later, XXXX XXXX XXXX called me about collecting debts from 2013. I asked them if that had anything to do with the Capital One Card I was an authorized user on and they said he. I called Capital One again in XXXX but the made Cardholder speak on my behalf. He explained what happened, they said there was nothing they could do and removed me from his account and updated my credit report as of closed the account with his balance. I have received calls from this XXXX number who asks for my fianc after stating she's on a recorded line. I asked where she was calling from so he could call back after his shower. The call happened tonight at XXXX. They would call his phone 1-5 day and respond in one of two ways- " We are calling because your payment is past due and if you need us to help you with payments, stay on the line ( on hold for 20 seconds or so and they end call. Capital one is harassing me and I never even had the opportunity to use the card! So why are they doing this after ive asked them to stop multiple times. This is 3rd call this week but this specific call was the time we spend unwinding after dinner. I would like to pursue the next step after this has been documented and is found to be in violation of my rights. Thank you!
