Complaint: I had a credit balance and requested Capital One to issue a check on or around XX/XX/XXXX and again on or around XX/XX/XXXX. To this day, I still have not received the check.
I called and sent an email to Capital One leadership team 3 times and no one responded to my inquiry.
This is the WORSE customer centric company that I ever have to deal with.

'' I contacted Capital One. The person I spoke with advised she can not give me any information besides what was stated in the letter. She further advised checking my local or county court system. I asked how was the background check completed if I did not give consent. immediately her demeanor changed and she quickly ended the call. I never gave Capital One consent to c
onduct a Criminal History background check. I further checked the terms and conditions, and nowhere is stated that a Criminal Background check, is consented.

Complaint: I mistakenly made a double payment of {$3000.00} to Capital One on XX/XX/19. Called Capital One on XX/XX/19 to verify the double payment and asked for a refund.
After a long a difficult conversation with Capital One representatives I was informed that a refund or credit would processed in 7 to ten days. On XX/XX/19 I called again to ask where the refund was. Talked to representative XXXX ( ID # XXXX ) and was informed that the Capital One representatives from XX/XX/19 made a mistake and that no action for a refund was processed on XX/XX/19. Was informed by XXXX that it is possible that an additional 6 weeks would be required before a refund could be processed.
Capital One has been unresponsive in any efforts to resolve this situation.

Reporting company used your report improperly
Complaint: Capital One performed a hard inquiry on my Credit File without disclosing or asking permission after issuing a Credit Card to my Corporation.
The Corporation has a good XXXX and XXXX and Capital One without authorization or notification pulled a personal credit file.
Furthermore this hard pull was completely unnecessary as I have been a customer of theirs for over 4 years. They could have just as easily seen that i have NEVER had a late payment. They could have done a soft pull to satisfy their own curiosity if needed I need to reiterate this was a Credit Card issued to a business. A corporation and not an individual by any means. I did not sign a personal guarantee.
There was absolutely no justified reason that this should have happened.
When i called them to complain and demand that they remove it, i was given the run around and eventually told that they didnt KNOW HOW or KNOW WHO could undo their misdeed ...

To Whom It May Concern, My name is XXXX XXXX, and my account number is XXXX. I have been a satisfied customer of Capital One for years.
Your outstanding customer service is the reason Ive remained a loyal customer. Ive always considered it a priority to make all my payments on time. Unfortunately, when my father died I fell short. I was over a month late with a payment.
I had been carrying a sizable balance for several months. Then, I finally paid off the full balance. When I received my statements and, I simply discarded them without even opening them because I assumed they would show a XXXX balance with no payment due. It never occurred to me that there would be a finance charge from the last month that carried a large balance.
I wish I had taken a moment to just open and read those statements. That was a big mistake, and I can assure you it wont happen again. From now on, I will always open every piece of mail that I receive from you. I recently opted in to email alerts just to provide an added layer of redundancy.
Your records will show that in XX/XX/2015 was the only time I was late. I had never been late with a payment until this unfortunate oversight. I have been prompt with the past XXXX monthly payments since getting caught up.
As a long-time customer in good standing, I respectfully request that you apply a goodwill adjustment to remove the late payment from my file. Please help me this is hurting me financially.

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, I purchased a trip to XXXX using a Capital one XXXX card for the amount of {$2700.00}. I used the card because I believed that charging the balance on a capital one card would protect me if I had to dispute a charge. That is what their card promised.
The trip was a nightmare and I face discrimination, abuse and isolation by the tour leader and XXXX company. When I returned in XX/XX//2018 from my trip, I contacted Capital one to dispute the charge, I sent a 2 page letter and pictures showing proof of my dispute. I called weekly and spoke to customer service, managers and finally I wrote to the CEOs of Capital one to get help. According to capital one, I had a valid dispute but they refused to reverse the charges because they wanted another travel agent to collaborate the claims. When I told them that I did due diligence to obtain a report from another travel agent but no one wanted to write a statement nor have they ever heard of such request. I became discouraged when I realized that Capital one did not want to help resolve this dispute and hid behind a wall of deception. I continued to make payment on the card but knew that what they said was false. They do not help with disputing charges and they take the merchant 's side in disputes.

Complaint: Capital One has several hard inquiries on my credit report from XXXX and XXXX. I have never inquired for any type of loan with Capital One. Capital One is reporting a credit inquiry for a business that I was once a member of and not the primary gaurantor because the company was a XXXX. These inquiries for credit were not made by me. Also, Capital One is breaking the FCRA. Only personal requests for credit should be reported. The inquiry is for a business I no longer work for and do not own and it should be reported as a personal credit inquiry.

Complaint: The purpose of this letter is to address an issue that occurred with my Capital One card. I have been a customer of Capital One for over 18 years and have always paid my bills on time and have never had any late payments and or negative history with my account. I have been an extremely responsible card holder/customer with Capital One as well as the other accounts that I have. The issue that I experienced is that I received a letter today ( XX/XX/19 ) via US Postal Service stating that my account was about to be 2 months past due. The moment that I read the letter, I was startled because I know that I set up my account on automatic payments. The automatic payments that I set up for my Capital One card was a fixed payment that was over the minimum payment due because I have always paid over the minimum amount due.
I contacted Capital One customer service and was informed that my account was in a delinquent status because I had not paid the amount that was due and I was also incurring late fees. The issue that I have with this is that my account continued to deduct {$60.00} to my checking account, so I am still confused as to how I can be delinquent and past due if I have been making payments on this account since I had a balance. I am very frustrated, bothered, annoyed, and at the same time saddened that this issue has occurred. Capital One sent me a letter to provide notification of my account status several months after the minimum payment changed, and after the credit bureaus were contacted regarding my account. My first and utmost concern is that fact that I have Excellent Credit with scores in the 800s. However, I checked my credit score that is provided by Capital One and realized that my score went down approximately 106 points. This situation is completely unjust because I feel that Capital One has a reputation that they provide unmatched customer service and provide customers with information regarding their credit scores to assist customers in their financial responsibilities. The situation that has occurred to me could have definitely been prevented if Capital One would have sent prior notifications via US Postal Service providing notification of my account status as well as the possibility of being reported to the Credit Bureaus.
Being a Capital One account holder for over 18 years, I have been responsible and my account has always been current and paid on time. The situation that occurred was due to a lack of due diligence on the part of Capital One and I strongly feel that Capital One should have made every reasonable effort to have reached out to me to provide critical information regarding my account as well as the situation that was occuring regarding my account being reported negatively to the Credit Bureaus. I would greatly appreciate if this situation can be resolved by a thorough investigation being made into my account to determine that there was truly a lack of support as well as a failure to provide me with the necessary notification to prevent this issue from occurring. As previously stated, my main concern is that my credit score has been affected due to the negative reporting that ha been made to the Credit Bureaus. I would greatly appreciate if the negative reporting is redacted due to the fact that payments were being made to my account as of this billing cycle. Thus, it is truly inaccurate to state that my account is past due or that I have not made payments to my account. Throughout my 20 years of having credit cards, loans, etc, I have been an extremely responsible customer as evidenced by my credit score always being Excellent and over 780 credit score. The reason that I am mentioning this is because at this point, my main concern is for a correction to be made to my credit reporting regarding my account because it is nonfactual to state that my account was not being paid when payments have been made on a monthly basis. In addition, every credit card company has an option online that if the fixed amount is less than the minimum payment that the amount would be adjusted to reflect at least the minimum payment. Although the minimum payment appeared to have increased as of XXXX, I was not provided with this information throughout the 3 month period in which this was occurring.
My hope is that my issue can be resolved because I strongly feel that Capital One should have provided every reasonable effort to reach me, such as sending physical mail to my mailing address. The only physical mail that I received from Capital One was today to address the past due account status which resulted in me contacting Capital One immediately and speaking to Capital One representatives for over 3 hours to provide clarification regarding this issue. I humbly request for my situation to be viewed in a manner that is just, understanding, as well as consideration being made as to my account history and the fact that I was not provided with many means of notification ( such as phone calls, physical documents being mailed ) prior to the actions that were taken on my account.
Capital one was contacted and they responded that a " dispute '' would be placed on my credit reporting, however this manner that Capital One attempted to resolve the issue has not remedied the issue as well as the inaccurate reporting to the Credit Bureaus.

Funds not received from closed account
Complaint: Bank closed our accounts XX/XX/2019 for me and my spouse and never transferred the money to external bank accounts as it was promised. Neither cashier check was released or ever sent to us. For now we have only letter from the bank that accounts were closed with ending balances but money were not released for over 2 weeks as of today.
Every time we call they sent us to voice message and nobody ever call back or contact otherwise to give time frame for expected money transfer.
They also never mailed 1099 form of interests from savings that prevent us to file taxes in timely manner.
I had three CDs with them as well as two savings accounts and one checking account.
My husband had three business savings accounts and one checking account
