Complaint: I did a balance transfer to XXXX to pay off Capitol one.well they denied 1st transfer-Capitol one cause I had amount more than what I owed.so I used the card and done another balance transfer.this time Capitol one ran them both thru.so now my account is XXXX.i called at end XXXX n they said they are mailing check.few weeks went by and no check.called again at start of last week.they said check be here XXXX XXXX.well still no check XXXX XXXX.so called for 3rd time.said they had no information that they was supposed mail a check.twice they have flat out lied to me about mailing the money.so that being said they need to address the issue and now!

Complaint: I have a loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX and CAPITAL ONE. I have always made my payments on time. For some reason I realized that there was a late payment on my credit report. As you can see, I have always had a stellar payment record with this company. I tried contacting both XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX and CAPITAL ONE with no successful resolution. XXXX and XXXX were reporting me late. There was definitely an error on their part. I was never 30 days late.

Complaint: I have a Capital One account, and had a balance transfer promotion on the account per a bathroom remodel. My line of credit on the card is $ XXXX, and the balance as of XX/XX/XXXX was {$8500.00}. I have since paid {$8100.00}. My issue is as follows : I moved in to temporary housing in XX/XX/XXXX and requested a change of address. The address was not changed and as a result I did not receive statements until the XXXX statement was forwarded by the post office. The account has been on auto pay since the commencement of the balance transfer promotion, which included a balance transfer fee. Capital One was receiving payments all along. I since called Cap One due to the forwarding label and old address reflected on the statement and they confirmed the address had not been changed as requested, but they would proceed to make the update. The address change issue led to my account being charged interest I believe for the months of XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX due to the balance transfer offer having expired. I had no other transactions other than the promo. I called the customer service department twice speaking with XXXX and XXXX ( ID XXXX ). Both acknowledged the address issues and non receipt of statements being very apologetic. Yet, they indicated Cap One does not adjust interest charged. They totally refused to escalate the call indicating they are sr. representatives and that is where it stops because they do not have the ability to transfer calls to their own supervisor or to escalate matters further. I called the executive office as I feel I have been treated unfairly and discriminated against and they advised me that all escalations have to go through their general customer service department. This is a large bank and it is unfathmable that this is the way they operate their business and treat customers. I am requesting that the interest charged of {$350.00} be adjusted. Credit card companies are required to provide monthly billing statements to customers, and the fact that Cap One did not do this and conveniently the Balance Transfer promo was to expire makes me believe that it was intentional. I am disputing the interest charged and am requesting an immediate refund for the amount. This will bring my account balance to XXXX. I hope that you can assist me with this matter. Complaint: Capital One Case #.. XXXX Account Number... XXXX Date of transaction. .XX/XX/XXXX Merchant........ XXXX Merchant website... XXXX Disputed Amount.... {$460.00} Todays Date..... XX/XX/XXXX I am senior citizen and a veteran of the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I believe that I have been the victim of consumer fraud or at best highly deceptive business practices. On XX/XX/XXXX I ordered a product called " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' from a website called XXXX/. The order number is # XXXX costing {$460.00}. The product failed to perform as advertised and was returned per instructions from XXXX customer service. The return was mailed on XX/XX/XXXX for a shipping cost of {$33.00}. The XXXX transaction appeared on my Capital One credit card statement. On XX/XX/XXXX a dispute for {$460.00} was submitted with Capital One. At that point I had not heard from the XXXX merchant regarding the return. I have requested a refund totally exactly what I paid to the XXXX merchant of {$460.00}. The merchant has refused to refund that amount. The merchant would have you believe that I would spend {$33.00} to return a working device. That is ludicrous. This is exactly the self-serving claim one would expect from a deceptive merchant. The device was defective, and if not, then their advertising is fraudulent. This is cheaply made device that only runs on two batteries. Allow me to quote from the XXXX website as follows : " For four years we have set a benchmark for reliability, safety and excellence in XXXX equipment. All products come with a 30 day money-back policy and one year warranty against defects. '' I submitted the Capital One dispute in good faith for just cause. Yet here I am four months later and I am out-of-pocket {$500.00} ( {$460.00} + {$33.00} ) and I have absolutely nothing to show for it except for endless calls to Capital One. Per the request of Capital One, I have provided them with many documents multiple times. I will attempt to attach those documents. In XXXX I provided Capital One with the 3-page dispute information form which they sent to me. I completed and mailed that form to their return address provided on the envelope which was : XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT. XXXX. Additionally, nine supporting documents were uploaded to Capital One with the following upload reference number : XXXX. Finally, after many months on XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Capital One stating that the case was closed because they lack information. Complaint: I received a phone call from a XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX with an address to a P.O. Box in XXXX XXXX, TX. The number they called from was XXXX. They claimed that I owed money on a Household Bank account from 2004. I asked them to send me the information on a letter head to my email in which they did. I told them I had settled an account from this bank previously I believed I no longer had an outstanding account. I told them I would call them back after I went through my files and called the bank. I called Capital One who had obtained Household years prior. They were able to look up all accounts using my Social Security number. They had found one previous account that I had satisfied years prior. The account number XXXX XXXX XXXX has told me and put in their letter was an account number that was never held by me. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX back to tell them they were mistaken. They insisted I needed to pay them today or it would have long lasting damage to my credit. I asked them for a physical address hitch they would not provide. I asked them if they could give me more information on how they obtained my information or my apparent delinquent account in which he told me he could not.

The Defendant hired another attorney who petitioned the courst several times for judgement. The courts original dismissal granted on or about XX/XX/XXXX entered in mediation by which defendant representative failed to appear at the mediation hearing on or about XX/XX/XXXX XXXX at which the plaintiff did appear in good faith with intent to mediate. The court sent a notice of dismissal of law suit to defendants and its counsel on or about XX/XX/XXXX. The court denied defendants motion for summary judgement on or about XX/XX/XXXX, and the courts second notice of dismissal to the defendants and its counsel on or about XX/XX/XXXX. On XXXX XXXX XXXX somehow the legal firm was able to overturn the dismissal without my ability to defend or have the court stand by its original mediation dismissal.

Complaint: I have been accused of oweing a debt that is not owed. The debt is also outside of statute of limitations for collection.The creditor is XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX has numerous other law firms attempting to collect the same debt for them. All of the law firms are hired and maintained by XXXX XXXX. The first company to contact me was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . I recieved a letter from them attempting to collect a debt. I sent XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX a certified letter return reciept. The letter was an order to cease and desist dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX which is a member of XXXX XXXX signed for and recieved the certified letter on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX has now been notified twice to cease and desist and they have ignored all attempts to get them to stop. They keep assigning the account to another law firm who is a member of their colleciton agency. All of the attempts are from members of XXXX XXXX. In the last two months I have recieved calls from an attorney 's office called XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. They call but do not leave any messages. The latest call came from number XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX. The call before that came in XX/XX/XXXX from the same number.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I noticed a charge on my debit card for a company called XXXX in the amount of {$180.00}. I decided to contact the company and explain that I did NOT make NOR authorize a purchase from them and that I wanted my money back. I was told there was nothing to be done as it was handled by XXXX and that I needed to contact them. I contacted XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and started a dispute. In doing that dispute the company sends XXXX a shipping update but says the item is intangible. How was it shipped then? What is it? I heard nothing else from XXXX. I decided to dispute through my bank since I saw the charge on my bank statement. My bank disputed the charge and on XX/XX/XXXX I was told that documents provided by the merchant shows the charge as valid and my dispute had been denied. I asked for the documents used and it was one piece of paper ( attached ) with some random numbers on it. I will be going into the bank and speaking with someone else regarding this matter as well. I have even offered to file a police report. I emailed the company AGAIN about this matter after being told to dispute through paypal etc. and that email I sent on XX/XX/XXXX was ignored. These people are crooks and have helped someone steal money from my account and I'm still having to deal with this after all this time. My bank account is NOT in good standing due to this fraudulent charge as it over drafted me and fees were assessed. They will not help in any way and it's ridiculous that I have to do all of this for a charge I didn't make nor authorize.
