Complaint: I spoke with the representative at Capital One about my first CFPB complaint. Their response : " On XX/XX/2019, we sent a request to the CRAs, asking them to report the authorized user XXXX XXXX on your account. The confirmation number for this request is XXXX. Please note it may take up to 60 days for the agencies to update their records and they have their own internal guidelines on what information they choose to report on a customers credit file. '' After contacting them towards the end of the 60 day mark with no resolution to the origin problem, they informed me to resubmit a complaint because they don't know why the original request didn't fix the issue.

Complaint: Dating back in XXXX I decided to due an Kohls credit card in which I was approved for {$300.00} dollars in credit.before XXXX I had paid off the credit card in was in good standards so I was thinking I would automatically get an increase after going into my Kohls account I notice the credit was still {$300.00} so I called Kohls and asked for an increase in which they went into my credit score and knowing I didn't owe them nothing I was denied an increase.so again I said let me go ahead and used the second {$300.00} Kohls credit in XXXX in which I paid it off a second time.so know I was thinking I should be giving an increase by now.so now it's XXXX I go to asked for a 3rd increase after trying to purchase some items on Kohls .com when I check my Kohls charge it was only {$300.00} in credit again for the 3rd time.but every body else I knew kelp telling me that there Kohls charge had received an increase over 3 times.so I called Kohls an again I was denied an increase its now XXXX and I'm all most finish paying my Kohls charge card off for the 3rd time and through out all 3 times I was denied an increase when I warned Kohls that I was going to get an complaint against me they said nothing but I'm sorry and good luck..I never felt so discriminated against.when it comes done to these credit cards thinking they can get away with charging me late fees interest rate fees every month but as long as I pay my Kohls charge card I'm not good enough for an increase.but I'm told good luck on putting in my complaint..its XXXX I've still feel I'm owed for the 3 credit card increase because I did keep my promise to pay Kohls back all 3 times but Kohls didn't keep there standards in policy in place when it came to me.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I made a purchase on XXXX buying a laptop unfortunately upon purchasing and activating no less than 2 hours the laptop started to smoke and start a fire due to hazardous concerns and the lithium battery that was installed that can not be taken out I was unable to send back to the mail due to certain restrictions that applied. had to dispose of it in a proper manner I alerted my credit card company of the situation because I wasn't able to rectify on my end, they did a chargeback and eventually took it back now it's supposed to be under review along with some other cases that I have and I'm being treated unfairly I am afraid that the team that they have working in the investigation team are not actually investigating due to one of my other cases that I have open I would like you guys to assist with this one also because my evidence didn't matter the last time I presented I wasn't treated with respect on till I contacted MasterCard directly after countless hours on the phone with Capital One I keep getting this information and bounced around from it's almost like they're treating these Merchants like if they are a MasterCard hold on I am the actual card holder with the Privileges and the protection that they provide the buyer protection and with the consumer Fair Act I expected more I expected so much more from capitalone they treated me like a liar the last time I asked them to step in and they're taking so long to wrap this up it's already four months, I think I got rubber-stamped no one seemed to really look at the evidence and really really help me and now I think if they're being funny because they're supposed to be working on another case for {$180.00} and another one for {$120.00} for a fake bracelets and I was in communication with a third-party call with MasterCard and lo and behold they were willing to help me after countless hours that they on the phone with them they were very nasty they didn't even want to help me at all but as soon as MasterCard patched me in they were so willing but I'm still waiting absolutely nothing is being done I was supposed to be sent paperwork for one of the decisions that they had made that's why I'm contesting it and I still haven't received that because I told them I think that's a lot presented fraudulent evidence only because I am the one with the fake bracelets Still but that has nothing to do with this case I'm just mentioning it because I'm noticing a problem with them

Complaint: This is my 3rd or 4th complaint against Capital One for the same exact issue. The company repeatedly denies my credit line increase requests, even though I have good credit, good income, and make all my payments on time. The letters they send DOES NOT provide a detailed explanation as to why ; the explanations are vague and provide little to no information as to why. When I call the company 's customer service to receive detailed information, they tell me that they can not help me and to read the letter explaining the credit line denial - even though I explain to them when we first start the call that 'm calling to receive specific information as to why I'm being denied a credit line increase. There is no detailed reason as to why I'm being denied a credit line increase ever provided. Even the companies previous responses to my prior complaints on the same issue are filled with no valid reasons.

Complaint: Fair Credit Billing Act is a 1974 federal law designed to protect consumers from unfair credit billing practices. After countless hours on the phone with XXXX and XXXX and countless hours on the phone with my capitalone360 it was decided not in my favor for my chargeback I purchased an item that was not gold and was requested by the credit card company 360 to get them tested to prove that these bracelets were not gold they were supposed to be XXXX XXXX XXXX gold bracelets I received steel bracelets now because I was told of a clause that XXXX had the seller or the merchant had time to respond and evidence that he resented and because he sent in his information I was canceled out because he was compliant but there was no way that he could have proved that these bracelets were real because I do own them now I had to show them pictures of me wearing the bracelets I sent them the paperwork and documentation of when I got it tested to prove that they were still and nothing was ever done on my behalf it's almost like they treated the merchant like if they were the actual Master card holder after careful instruction from XXXX I if I discovered that the merchant that I brought the merchandise from was violated and is no longer able to sell or buy goods from XXXX even knowing this Capital 360 did nothing for me so I'm asking you guys to step in now this was a chargeback that came back twice they were able to legally open it back twice on me after settling this is totally unfair and after countless hours on the phone and with them asking me to provide them with paperwork they gave me no chance it's almost like they called me a liar from the beginning because I had to go get these bracelets tested the XXXX 's page was closed by XXXX due to violations of terms and conditions even after showing them that proof it was not enough I need somebody to carefully go into this account and see to it that the right thing is done here I am 9/10 and possession of steel bracelets not 18 carat bracelets they are fake XXXX you are not allowed to do that on XXXX so I don't know how much I can express that to them even after XXXX was trying to communicate XXXX they still didn't want to do anything it's like they were more on the merchants side than the actual card holder which is me XXXX XXXX XXXX these are the dates that the transactions took place I will try to provide as much information as I can thank you

Card issued with complete account number, expiration date, Sec Code, RFID Chip, copy of my credit report, security agreement and other terms and conditions. Documents state that use of the card constitutes acceptance of security agreement and all terms and conditions. I did not solicit this bank for a credit card at any time. The card issuance practice placed me and my family at great risk of identity theft and credit fraud where in any person that obtained possession of the item in the mail could have activated this high limit ( {$10000.00} ) credit card.
