Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX for the amount of XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of XXXX, I made payments through my online bill payment to Cabelas MasterCard. I received a notice that my account was past due. After some investigation a couple weeks ago I found out that they never received the checks my bank had sent. After contacting my bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, they told me that those checks were cashed and cleared my account. After they sent me copies of the checks I see that my Cabelas account number on the top of both checks was crossed out and an account number was hand written on the checks as youll see in the photos I submit. The checks were also deposited by XXXX XXXX which youll also see on the back of the checks. I have no account with XXXX XXXX and I have no clue as to why they ended up with my money. So I called them last night and they would not help me or give me any information. So at this point Im out a total of XXXX dollars and my credit is being affected for late payment to Cabelass. Im not making any further payments until this is resolved. I would greatly appreciate any help. My bank told me to contact you guys for a resolution.

Complaint: In XX/XX/2019, I discovered that I was a victim of identity theft. I logged into my Capital One account and realized that all my information had been changed to someone else 's. My cards were turned off without giving me notice and they promised they would send new cards. The new cards were then sent to the fraudulent address. After spending hours on the phone with Capital One, I was able to have them send me new cards to my correct home address. This took over a month to get new cards after their errors. I reported the fraud to them and they promised to remove it from my credit reports however they have not. I also attempted to file a police report, however no one called me back to take my information. I have also had a XXXX card opened fraudulently in my name. I have placed a credit freeze on all my credit reports, however my score has dropped 22 points and I feel it is completely out of my control.

Complaint: Capital one has allowed someone to change my address 6 times in 2019 alone ( not including the times in years past ) I have repeated asked to have notes put on my account that make them call my number prior to making ANY changes to my account but they continue to ignore that request and allow someone to close my card and send a new one to their address. This is causing me financial issues as well as time taken away from my family and my business. Ive included a screen shot of each time this has happened in 2019 alone.

Complaint: My home burned andXXXX I recieved a large insurance payment in XXXX and XXXX. My debit card was replaced ( not by me ). This happened several times I reported it to Capital one. I reported my laptop to stolen and my debit card, I have a police report for this computer. I resolved several transactions that were fraud and e bank resolved them in XX/XX/XXXX But as more were noticed the bank has stopped calling me back and has closed my account as of XX/XX/XXXX. I called and tequested the last four digits of all my debit cards to resolve the fraudulent charges directly with the companies but can't even get a call back from the bank. I can't access it to review my statements. The changes are : {$1300.00} with an unknown company, {$2000.00} person to person transfer with XXXX, {$950.00} with XXXX listed as store # XXXX ... .. Many more, please help mediate to resolve Capital One ignoring me. I would like for the bank to simply answer my calls or forward the last four to each debit card and allow access to my statements as some show whether it was an online purchase as opposed to in store.

Complaint: XXXX a Consumer with Capital One, I have called the Company to pay the remainder of my Balance with interest in one final payment. Within the last two Days I was told.I would not receive a XXXX Balance, although the billing cycle is billed XX/XX/2019 to XX/XX/2019. I was told that I would.have to.pay interest on a XXXX Balance after XX/XX/2019 on the closed.account. I have no intentions of paying any monies after my final payment is posted in this current billing cycle on a closed account. I have requested the phone number to their Legal Department from the call center Customer Service. The refusal to provide me with this number and information to as why I will receive a billing statement on future billing cycles is in acceptable..I have spoken with an Attorney who suggests I inform your Office of this situation and that I fax the XXXX billing cycle statement with XXXX balance to your Department. Complaint: On Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX Capital One contacted me to report that a fraudulent charge was put onto my account. They said they would send a new card to my address ; however, they sent the new card to an address in XXXX. I live in XXXX. The person who received the new credit card immediately used it to make about {$9000.00} in purchases at a XXXX in XXXX, XXXX. We reported this situation immediately on Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX. At that time, the representative said we would be sent a new card and that the fraudulent charges were pending and would probably not be processed. However, they were processed. It's Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX. We have not received our new card and the fraudulent charges are still on our account. A representative I spoke with at the company said it could take between two to three days to clear this up, but it could also take anywhere between 30 to 90 days to clear up. This is not acceptable. We need our credit card -- just as most people do -- to make daily purchases. Capital One is entirely at fault in this matter. Whatever verification process they use failed. I've had this account for over 20 years, yet they sent a credit card to the wrong address. Once the card was received, it was used immediately. Not only does this feel like a mistake, it's beginning to feel like a crime was committed by employees at the company. My wife and I have experienced extreme stress due to this situation. Whatever you can do to hep us would be appreciated.

Complaint: I have a loan with CAP1/XXXX. I have always made my payments on time. For some reason, I realized that there was a late payment on my credit report, I called CAP1/XXXX and they said their system automatically put me on paperless billing, which I did not request. I was awaiting letter in the mail all this time just to find out their system had an error. As you can see, I have always had a stellar payment record with this company. I tried contacting XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and CAP1/XXXX with no successful resolution. XXXX, XXXX, XXXX only reporting me 30 days late. There was an error on their part. I was never 30 days late.
