My balance is XXXX and there is no monthly payment due and the payment is zero. The balance of XXXX dollars is not due and no statement reflection such reporting. I have always paid my bill ahead of time. Capital one credit card is reporting inaccurate information on my credit report after being paid in full with a overpayment of XXXX. Due to the overpayment there was a credit on my account of XXXX I don't own a XXXX dollars payment according to my statement and the balance being reported is inaccurate information. I have always paid my bill in full according to my payment history with this company. There is no balance and no payment is due and the payment is XXXX dollars. Due to being paid in full.

Complaint: I want to thank you first of all for extending me credit back when nobody else would. I have had my two capital one credit cards for a while now. I have had my rewards card for about 3 months now and the platinum secured card for about four months now. I have worked hard in rebuilding my credit and look forward to many years with my capital one cards. I have made every payment on time and try to keep my utilization under 10 %. I make multiple payments in the same month to keep my account balance low as possible.While I am grateful capital one has given me a chance to rebuild my credit i am having issues with capital one and their constant denial of a credit limit increase. Each time they have told me my account is too new or Secured cards are not eligible for credit limit increase. Every time i call into customer service to ask where that information is stated online or in my account access i don't get any answer and get a scripted response of their is nothing we can do. Asking for my account to be reviewed for consideration.

Complaint: XXXX ; XXXX, XXXX, one more These are the last digits of my credit card numbers that were opened up by my ex-girlfriend from years ago. My ex opened a multitude of cards in my name and ran up debt in my name. The four cards had high charges on them and the debt kept getting higher and higher. I informed Capitol One of these issues by phone and letter on multiple occasions in XXXX XXXX. I called and wrote letters and provided a then report of identity theft that was filed through the Federal Government Identity Theft Site that detailed what happened. I offered documentation and spoke to them about it. While I informed them of this, nothing really happened. Capital One did not initiate Fraud investigations or anything into my account. I told them I was making minimum payments until it was all figured out. I even came up with a solution that allowed for me to possibly come to an agreement with the company to settle the debt and close the accounts out by paying a certain amount through a negotiated fee, even though it wasn't fair that I was paying on something that was NOT my opening or my fault. I even asked that Capital One provide me with the signature or documents in which I " supposedly applied for all four credit cards, and they did not. Instead, Capital One sent me a big document in which they rudely tried to intimidate and overpower me and ignored my calls for fraudulent issues, not even acknowledging the issues about it. I couldn't pay for the credit cards and they charged off on my credit unfairly, especially without providing me with Fraudulent Protections. It was intimidating and awful and horrible experience and even when I tried a negotiation, they ignored me.

Complaint: Capital One owes me {$850.00} but refuses to send me a check I can cash. I have had 3 credit cards with Capital one for years. Never late, never over limit. Then a stranger got 2 of my cards and ran up charges for 3 days. You never think it will happen to you. To be safe, I sent in payments of {$1000.00} to each card. When the dust cleared, I had an {$850.00} balance overpaid on one card. That was last XXXX. It took months, but Capital one finally sent me a check, but it was made out only to my business. The card had both my name and the business name - statements also carried both names. I am XXXX, on XXXX, and retired 2 years ago and closed the business. I didn't really think about the cards. My bank will not accept a check made out to a business that no longer exists. I had told XXXX XXXX about this during the fraud investigation. I have, now, called 4 times the last 4 weeks as I was promised a check in my name over a month ago. Capital One owes me {$850.00} for 6 months, now. If it was them, they would be charging me interest and destroying my credit ( which is 780+ by the way ). Their trained monkeys just can not seem to deal with this properly even if I stay on the phone for 30 minutes. I returned the original check to Capital One a month ago. I want my money back!!! I am tired of calling and getting trained monkeys who either can't figure out that I am owed a check or claim that my " record '' is not clear that they owe me a check. XXXX XXXX - XXXX, ext XXXX - Promised me a check in my name well over a month ago.

Complaint: Two fraudulent charges appeared on our credit card statement. One was a cash withdrawal from an ATM for {$210.00} and one was a dinner charge for {$77.00}. Both were made the same day, within an hour of each other, in XXXX, New York. The company is Capital One. The dinner charge was made with a chip enabled card and Capital One claims this proves I am wrong ( and therefore lying ). We had the card in our possession the entire time and did not mae the withdrawal nor the charge. The withdrawal was credited back to our account, but not the dinner charge, because Capital One claims the card used was chip enabled. This seems wrong to me, since we did not make the charge. Assuming Capital One is telling the truth, there is a security problem with their chip card enabled technology. I have cancelled our cards with Capital One, since I feel they can not be trusted.

Complaint: On the date of XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX I entered into a recorded verbal phone conversation with Capital One Auto Finance, known as COAF on my credit report. I informed them I was reviewing my credit report and noticed two inquiries that I did not recognize. I asked them if they could verify the inquiries as authorized or unauthorized, meaning in accordance with the FCRA laws they must have my signature. The male representative did verify they have no record of the inquiries listed on my credit report of the date of XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. As well, he verified there is no signature that exist for those inquiries. I demanded that the company delete the inquiries then. So, he told me I could dispute it by mailing in certain information. I then explained to him I will not pay for mailing and out put my own money for disputing an inquiry that was never mine in the first place. So, when he refused to give me an email address that I could send all the information requested to, I then informed him I will be filing a complaint with the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX.
