Complaint: Back on XX/XX/2015, I purchased a Used Car from Salesperson XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX. The car was in fairly decent condition and I trusted them because I was purchasing from the dealer. I was given a price by Mr. XXXX which was with everything included. Little to my knowledge that I was paying {$38.00} a month for XXXX which was bundled into the full price of the car. I never asked for it nor was it ever honored when I tried to use it. I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX and asked to speak to the manager who rudely cut me off and is never able to take my calls. At the end of it all I wouldve paid close to {$3000.00} for something that I never wanted nor that asked for. Very shady business practices. Problem with fees
Complaint: I went to pay my payment online at the credit card companies website. It was XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, the day the payment was due. Before I made the payment I noticed the last activity on the card was a {$25.00} late fee added on XX/XX/XXXX.
At the bottom under where you pay a notice said that payments made after XXXX XXXX. EST would not be credited until the next day so even though I was making a payment on the day it was due, I was being charged a late fee anyway which was added the day before the payment was due. I made a payment of {$100.00} and the website said a payment was made on XX/XX/XXXX.
I called the company the next day and they reversed the fee " as a one time courtesy. '' If a consumer makes a payment on the day the payment is due regardless of what time of day or night it is how is it legal to charge a late fee?

Problem with rewards from credit card
Complaint: My problem concerns closure of my credit card in the month of XX/XX/2019 with Capital One through no fault of my own.
The problem occurs because the company refuses to give me my accumulated cash back in the amount of {$490.00} that has been accrued over the last several years.
The company has indicated to me that that once an account has been closed they can not go back and issue money from that account to satisfy my claim for my money that was accrued in my account, This is tantamount to stealing my money that has been accrued by me over time.

Problem with personal statement of dispute
Complaint: My Kohl 's charge account had been unused for approx a year and I bought a couple of items on XX/XX/2019. Based on email confirmation from Kohls I updated my billing and shipping address for my account on XX/XX/2019. I never received a monthly statement by mail or email. However, I had received emails for updates to my account information, shipping information of my purchases and hundreds of emails of advertisments. On XX/XX/XXXX, my mortgage loan officer pulled my credit report and informed me that Kohls was reporting my account as 30 days past due. As soon as I was informed, I immediatly contacted Kohl 's to resolve the issue. The first person I talked to advised that there had been no paper statements sent but there should have been email statements. I immediately searched my email account including my junk and deleted email and found no monthly statements or notices that my payment had not been received. After speaking with his supervisor, the Kohls representive said he would remove the late fees and submit a request to remove the past status from the reporting to the credit bueras but that would take several weeks to update on my credit report. After several weeks, my credit report had not been updated so I called back and spoke to another representative that said that she saw the request and that it would be updated at the end of the month when the account updated with the credit bureas. A few days later, I received a letter that stated that Kohls had investigated the credit reporting and it was correct. We contacted Kohls customer service again and they told us that the department that handled the credit reporting had made the decision not to remove the 30 day late reporting and that there was no one that we could speak to about the issue. Given that Kohls had my correct email address, mailing address and phone number, I dont understand why no attempt was made to contact me when my payment was not received. How does the account get to 30 days past due and no attempt is made to contact me. Most creditors would at least mailed a letter letting you know that your payment was not received. When it was brought to my attention, I brought the account current.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2013 XXXX XXXX XXXX as assignee of Capital One Bank ( USA ) wrongfully received a judgment ( $ XXXX ) against me in a state that I do not live in ( XXXX XXXX XXXX Michigan ) .They misrepresented contact information to the State of Michigan XXXX Judicial District Judicial Circuit , they stated that they had served me with a writ ( in person ) and also delivered a copy of said writ to my last known address by first - class mail.The above statements are false based upon the following Facts : ( 1 ) it's been 30+ years since I lived in Michigan and ( 2 ) My last known address was ( XXXX, Ohio ).
XXXX XXXX XXXX as Assignee of Capital One Bank ( USA ) is also misrepresenting the actual dollar amounts they are seeking and the actual date/year the account was open/closed and sent to collection ( the Capital One collection is a 20 year old collection account ) .The mere fact that the debt with Capital One Bank ( USA ) has for quite some time exceed all states statute of limitation laws ( 6-10 yrs. ) means that the above debt is time-barred per my state and any other state statute of limitations.Therefore the request and writ for garnishment ( Periodic ) was obtained through deception and by fraudulent means. All monies XXXX XXXX is receiving through the illegally obtain writ are being obtained through deception and wrongfully, due to the fact that they sued me after the statute of limitations had long expired, which places XXXX XXXX and Capital One Bank violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Complaint: I called in to open my account back up with capitol one and pay the card off so I could get back to building my credit.
I had fallen on a tough time so there was a point in time where I couldn't really make payments.
When I called in to make the payment, the agent on the phone told me if I did make a payment that day, and paid off most of the balance they would reopen my card.
It's been a week, and when I called today another representative has told me I would not be able to reopen the acct and I would have to open another credit line.
I feel the original collector deceived me into a payment at this point and I am out XXXX $ on a XXXX $ credit card!! when I could of just been givin the option to pay it off over time rather than be lied to collect a payment that day.
Now I have called my bank to file a dispute on the charge on my account since I was lied to into collecting the debt. He was trying really hard to make me make a payment on the phone, however I did not feel right with how persistent he was so I went ahead and made it online. None the less I was still lied to into making a payment, and now I don't know how I'm going to pay my bills right now because I trusted the fact they would reopen my card.
All this was done on the phone, so the recording would be with the company. It would be the phone call before the last one I made today.
