Privacy issues
Complaint: Capital one put a restriction on my account for normal card use. I can not dispute any charges or issues on the account without sending them a copy of my license and SS card, which I am extremely uncomfortable doing. I can verify every purchase, I'm calling from the number on the account, I've verified things by email and by regular mail and that is not sufficient.

Complaint: The company is Capital One. They Robo Dialed my cell phone from XX/XX/2018 to present. I spoke with a representative in XXXX and asked that they discontinue the calls.Because, I was XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX, the account fail behind. However, I was able to reinstate my monthly payments in XXXX, but unbeknownst to me, the account was charged off. That said, Capital One continues to call using an XXXX exchange, and when I dial back. The person who answers states that the call is being recorded and they are employment specialists.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I called Capitol One to pay off my credit card. I first used my rewards to pay {$170.00} then asked to pay the balance. This is on Capitol One 's taped line. The young lady said my balance was {$5000.00}. I then paid that amount. I asked twice if that was all that was owed to have a XXXX balance. She said yes. Next month I got a bill for {$110.00} and some change. I called and talked to 3 different people. The bill was for interest and service fees. When I went thru their company to pay it off and was told I still owed more, I was very irate. I don't believe I owe them anything.

Complaint: this was my frist credit card ever. I got it in XXXX XXXX it had a XXXX dollar limit. i used it for a couple months and paid on time, then when i switched banks i had trouble setting up payments. It went late and then eventually they closed it. it was never a problem of money or not being responsible, i just didnt understand how to do it.
they closed the account in XX/XX/XXXX sometime. Its the only thing on my credit report and its giving me a hard time to get started building my credit for real. I want to build it and have good credit. Im XXXX married and have a XXXX.
I need this one negative off my report so that i can get this going.
