Complaint: To Whom It May Concern, We have been trying in good faith to resolve our status of our debt with The Bank of America. We dont believe the are they are dealing with us in good faith. The unpaid balance is {$10000.00}. A judgement was entered on XX/XX/17 yet it is still being reported to the Credit Agencies as a CHARGE OFF/COLLECTION. We are currently honoring a payment arrangement/plan with the Court Officer, so we are fully willing to pay the debt. Our attorney has advised us that if the account is now a judgement it should fall off the credit reports. No one will assist us in making this error correct and as a result we are unable to qualify to a much needed mortgage. PLEASE HELP US.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I had a scheduled appointment for an appraiser to come to my home and do an appraisal. This appraiser was sent by my mortgage company which is Bank of America. The reason for this appraisal was because my husband and I wanted to refinance our mortgage due to lower rates. The appointment was set up a week ahead of time. On XX/XX/2019 an appraiser from XXXX XXXX, XXXX showed up to my house around XXXX XXXX. He proceeded to call me because no one answered the door. I answered his call and explained to him that our appointment was scheduled for XXXX XXXX. He confirmed that he knew the appointment time but was early. I asked him to please wait a few minutes as my husband would be home soon and they could start the appointment early. He became very disgruntled and then he proceeded to hang up the phone on me. Once my husband arrived and let him in, he ran around our house snapping pictures and left within 10 minutes. I immediately called my loan officer at Bank of America to issue a complaint about the appraiser. I feel as though my concerns were brushed off and I was told to wait for the official appraisal in the mail. Once the appraisal came in, I noticed the estimated value of our home seemed way off. Homes in my neighborhood are selling for {$400000.00} or more and my home was valued at {$350000.00}. The said houses in my neighborhood are the exact same model home as my own. I have also added an {$11000.00} screened porch on and a {$5000.00} fence since closing. I called my loan officer and explained that I wanted to appeal this appraisal. After a week, my loan officer came back with a form I needed to fill out to appeal and told me to list my own comparables within our neighborhood. I supplied my loan officer with 15 comparables and their MLS numbers. I heard nothing for two weeks and finally called my loan officer and was told that they decided not to accept my appeal. I then asked who I could contact so I could get some answers to their reasoning for not accepting my appeal. I eventually had to reach out to my loan officers manager and have left two voicemails with him and sent him an email but now they are both unresponsive. I feel like I am not getting treated fairly. I am worried that Bank of America has chosen to brush my husband and I off due to the fact that he is not a citizen ( although he is a permanent resident ). I feel mistreated and I am at a standstill and can not get any answers from Bank of America. They have taken my money for the appraisal ( {$560.00} ) and yet still are not responding to me. Complaint: Yesterday, Thursday, XX/XX/2019, I decided that due to the incorrect credit report information that still appears on my report from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, who against the Law, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, keeps reporting my 2 accounts with them as bad Debt, Charge Off, Collections, but all that is not true as the evidence included clearly shows, the only choice I had to cover an unexpected expense from the company called XXXX, was to apply for a Secured Credit Card, and after years with this unsolved problem, which is now waiting for the Appellate Judges Judgment and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the XXXX XXXX, under Appeal No. XXXX, the fact is daily expenses and emergencies still have to be covered, and with the help of my Mother XXXX XXXX XXXX and a cash advance from my XXXX Credit Card now part of the Bank called XXXX XXXX, I was able to find the {$300.00} required in order to apply for this Bank of America Secured Card, which is a Bank product precisely designed to help re-establish our credit, but no matter I was a former Bank of America client, with a credit card with them that I closed years ago in good terms, a credit card that passed to Bank of America when they bought MBNA Amerca Bank years ago, they denied this Secured Credit Card. I am including evidence from a credit report, showing that I had a Bank of America credit card, but the incorrect reports from XXXX XXXX simply are making my credit possibilities reduced to Zero, and is probably impossible to qualify for a personal loan, just to cancel the remaining balance with XXXX XXXX under this conditions, because they keep reporting that I am not paying my accounts with them, which is completely false. Both accounts are Paid as Agreed, in spite of a Discrimination Problem at work, currently waiting for a specific date at the Supreme Court of the United States, next XX/XX/2019, as the included evidence shows. I was able to fully update this accounts, even keeping contact all the time with this XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX during the whole year I was without inclome, even with some intermediate payments to both accounts, which was supervised by the same XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX internal customer service, and Mrs. Miss XXXX XXXX was one of them, from their Central Office. Please see the documentation included showing all this the truth. I sued XXXX XXXX after they decided not to recognize their obligation to comply with the Law called Fair Credit Reporting Act, no matter the evidence sent first to the same Bank, then to the 3 credit bureaus, and then to the Bank, the credit Bureaus, through here at the C.F.P.B. With a a main Bank violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act like they do with me in this Case, even a Secured Credit Card could be denied, because Bank of America made an automatic decision within 60 seconds : It takes more than that to write just a line here in this specific part of the complaint. Nobody from the Bank saw this evidence, saw I think is better, faster, and possible to send also to the 3 credit bureaus, and to XXXX, which because their unfair request of a full payment for a balance that was not past due, denying my request to divide the payment, or to accept a partial payment until days before next XX/XX/XXXX, as they approved many times during the past year due to this same problem, because I had no choice but to apply for this payment extension for extra time to pay that XXXX was offering. Now, because of their finance department bad decisions in this case, against me no matter I am their customer for more than 12 years and counting, I can't simply leave XXXX and buy a new cell phone from another company with a pre-paid offer, without hurting my finances in the middle of this unfair problem. I don't want to continue at XXXX, as I informed them even to a Supervisor who tried to convince me over the phone a couple of days ago, but I will have to stay because under this unfair conditions provoked by XXXX XXXX, not even Bank of America wants to approve a Secured Credit Card .This is impossible.

Complaint: My debit card, along with my wallet was stolen on XX/XX/2019. I immediately reported this incident to my financial Institution, Bank Of America. I was told the investigation would take 10 business days to be completed, or I would be given a temporary provisional credit on the 10th business day. I received a message on XX/XX/XXXX, saying my claim was denied. I quickly inquired about this, and I was told the reason it was denied is because the person didn't have any unsuccessful attempts entering my pin. I was mortifed by this ridiculous reason, so I asked that this claim is reopened and escaped immediately. I was told to send a police report ; however, I was never asked to send one prior to my claim being denied. BOA is horrible for denying my claim and not adequately investigating it.

Complaint: I have recently ( XX/XX/2019 ) requested to Bank of America 's credit card department to issue a new Travel Rewards card over the phone. It was immediately approved for a credit limit of {$3200.00}.
However rather than having only 1 hard inquiry from Bank of America on XX/XX/2019, my XXXX credit report shows 2 hard inquiries from Bank of America.
In no circumstances, any person can have two hard inquiries from the same bank for the same type of card on the same day because if the card will be disapproved in the first request, it will be again disapproved in the second request whereas I have been issued credit card. Secondly, if the card will be approved on the first hard inquiry, there is no meaning for anyone to again immediately tell the customer service associate to launch another hard inquiry after approval of the card! Therefore I explained that there were not two hard inquiries.
Please remove the 2 hard inquiries and increase my credit score accordingly.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2019 I used the XXXX product offered by Bank of America to transfer {$500.00} to an individual in order to purchase concert tickets.
Once I realized I was a victim of fraud and didn't receive my merchandise I immediately contacted Bank of America.
The transaction was still in progress, however, Bank of America indicated there was nothing they could do other than launch an investigation that could take approximately 10-45 days to complete.
The XXXX website ( XXXX XXXX ) advertises how safe and secure their service/product is and the protection that is offered to you as a customer.
This is the first time I've used the XXXX product, however, this is a big problem as many new organizations are reporting the vast amount of fraud occurring when utilizing this service.
My funds were transferred via XXXX to an individual 's XXXX XXXX account, how can this problem not be caught in time and reversed. I notified my bank while the transaction was still in process.
