Complaint: Someone stole my identity and purchased phones from XXXX. In an out of state store. I have n't been out of state to purchase phones. This was a criminal act and I advised them of it. They still want me to report it to the police department. I do n't know when or where my identity was stolen to purchase these phones. If the company even took the chance to check to see if the person was actually me they would n't have sold the phones. They are messing up my credit with a {$1300.00} debt on my credit report.

Complaint: I have a new phone number ( XXXX ) and apparently, the person that had the phone number before me owed a debt to " Allied Interstate ''. Allied Interstate called my phone and asked for this other person. I told them they had the wrong number. They asked if I knew this person and I said no, this is a new number and phone for me. I do not know this person. The caller from Allied Interstate proceeded to yell and scream at me, call me names and harass me saying that I was trying to run from this debt! I just hung up ... She called right back! I have no way to block this number, they are calling the wrong person and can continue to call and scream at me whenever they want ... This HAS to be illegal? Thank you.

Complaint: To whom it may concern : Allied Interstate is attempting to collect a debt that was included in the bankruptcy which was discharged XXXX/XXXX/2015. This is the second time that a collection company is attempting to collect this debt for XXXX. About a month ago, I filed a complaint against Allied in XXXX XXXX, Nevada who even reported me to the credit bureau causing my score to plummet XXXX points. Because of the CFPB, Allied removed it from my credit report, however, the score never fully recovered. This is harassment that I am getting 'bounced around ' from XXXX collection agency to the next. Attached is the letter they sent me. I spoke with XXXX and XXXX yesterday regarding the bankruptcy. I hope this is the final letter.

Complaint: I have reached out to Alliance Interstate to make a settlement on a XXXX XXXX account. After multiple discussions with collection specialists, I asked for clarity on the reduced settlement amount that I was offered. Allied interstate refused to provide me in writing prior to making the settlement payment of {$1500.00} that this is the amount that they offered to pay. I then asked to speak with a collection manager and was told that the manager was not on duty by XXXX XXXX. Per XXXX, no letter can be sent until after payment to reflect settlement. He initially refused to allow me to speak with a manager. I was then transferred to XXXX XXXX who then admitted that he was a collections specialist and not a manager. I then transferred to XXXX XXXX who identified herself as a manager. She initially told me that following payment on my settlement, I would receive my confirmation in 7 to 10 days. She then refused to answer any further questions and transferred me back to XXXX XXXX. I am now being told that I will not receive my confirmation of payment for approximately one month. I raised the concern of paying a settlement of debt without any proof of the agreement. I was told that the call is recorded and that is sufficient enough. I am requesting Allied Interstate provide me in writing confirmation of the agreed upon settlement. I was told I can not receive any proof of amount for settlement via fax or email.

Complaint: On or about XXXX of 2015, ALLIEDINTERSTATE contacted me about certain XXXX XXXX credit card debt account # XXXX. I personally notified ALLIEDINTERSTATE, that I dispute the validity of this debt and requested that they validate the debt under FDCA ,15 USC 1692, to which they failed to do so. However, in violation of the FDCA, ALLIEDINTERSTATE, unlawfully continued attempt to collect on an illegal debt in clear violation of my FCRA and Privacy Rights, causing and preventing me from obtaining new credit, secure adequate housing and or a meaningful employment. Furthermore, I advised ALLIEDINTERSTATE, that this debt was a direct result of ID THEFT and as such that I am not liable for this debt. I also requested that ALLIEDINTERSTATE provide me copies of said unpaid invoices and name and address of the original creditor to which they failed to do so. Upon belief and Information, whereas, the debt was as a direct result of FRAU and ID THEFT, I requested that this account be permanently closed and any adverse information that resulted from this unauthorized use be deleted from my credit report. Nonetheless, ALLIEDINTERSTATE purposefully with ulterior motive disregarded the RULE OF LAW and my request causing and depriving me access to housing ; meaningful employment and/or to obtain new credit without just cause or any legitimate reason.

They referred me to XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX referred me to another company at that same time they stated that I also had another account on my credit and I said that I had no idea what that was I asked if they knew and they stated they could not see in the computer but to call Allied. I called allied and they stated that there is a XXXX XXXX XXXX account from 10 years ago. I told them ten years ago I was in jail and it is impossible that the account is mine. I told them that it had to be identity theft and I also told them that under the FCRA that it was outdated and they should not be trying to collect. The guy on the phone who I could barely understand said well what do you want me to do? I said I want you to delete it immediately. I am writing you because this is outrageous. I need to get this situation rectified. I am trying to buy a home and it is impossible to buy a house without these credit companies and debt companies following the laws.
