Problem with personal statement of dispute
Complaint: Both American Express and XXXX XXXX XXXX " charged-off '' and " written-off '' my debt. According to the definition of the above it states that both companie s Charge of f means that the credit grantor wrote your account off of their receivables as a loss. They have both gotten judgements and put a lien on the title of my home. I am verified XXXX XXXX and this has been communicated to both parties before and during legal action in the courts was taken. I have written XXXX County Superior Court to no avail. Although I do still owe the money, these compa nies are breaking the law by double dipping. Why the courts protect the big banks over XXXX XXXX persons is a serious injustice and I would like to see accountability in this matter. Part of being XXXX is to say that I am no longer able to work, notwithstanding money is in short supply. As such, hiring an attorney to get these liens off of my title is not an option. Thank you!

Complaint: I called into American Express Serve 's customer care number at XXXX because of a dispute that was credited back to my account but had not been as documented. I called in again today to see why the money had not been credited and the representative gave me the run around. After being placed on hold several times he then told me I had to add money to my account in the amount of {$1.00} for him to credit my account. After a while I heard talking and the representative hung up on me. This is my second complaint about money that was supposed to be credited tin the amount of {$2900.00} when it was stopped by myself online on X/XX/2017.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, a payment was scheduled in the amount of {$450.00} of which I was informed that as long as the payment was made before XX/XX/XXXX at that point, nothing would happen to my account. Well, yesterday, I cancelled that payment that was to be taken out on Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX, and scheduled it to be taken out on XXXX XXXX, 2017 ( a day earlier ) of which it is currently processing. American Express, however, suspended my charging capabilities on Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX, with the understanding that the payment would go through on XX/XX/XXXX. <P/>Everything they 've told me over the phone contradicts the actions behind what has happened with my account. I 'm very frustrated with this company at this point. When I ask for the ID of the individuals I 'm speaking with, they refuse to give me that information and act very suspicious about giving me any information.

Complaint: Hi, we cancelled our credit card with American Express after over 20 years of excellent payment history since we were denied a charge for our taxes in XXXX, and after being insulted by an incompetent CSR, who told my husband we need to pay down our card to improve our credit so he cancelled our AMEX cards. Then, we later found out our AMEX rewards points were gone so we filed several complaints with AMEX with no resolution so we are seeking the return of our XXXX points that still show up on our most recent XXXX XXXX statement. The CSR never told us we would forfeit our points, and the CSR 's who we filed our complaints with keep saying there our no notes of our conversations so we want to put this in writing so everyone can see what a SCAM AMEX can be after 20 years of loyal service. In fact, our XXXX XXXX statement shows we have XXXX new points so not sure why we would accrue additional points when our past hard earned points were taken away so please help us resolve this matter before we file a small claims suit next for additional damages to our credit reputation as well per the CSR 's blatant ignorant statements which originally caused us to close our AMEX account. Complaint: I am filing this complaint based upon the horrible experience I am having with American Express Serve card. On XX/XX/XXXX my card was compromised with an unauthorized money transfer. All of my account information was changed and money was sent to an unknown person. I contact Serve and filed a dispute and was assisted in changing all of my information. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a credit for the transfer and I thought all was well. On XX/XX/XXXX my account was compromised again this time for more money, I contacted them again and went through the entire process all over again. At this point in time I just want my money back so I can close this account, I will never use them again. I contacted them today to check on the status and was told that it will take 10 days. 10 days does not feed my kids or pay my bills. When I asked for a manager I was told they are all busy on the phone that they could call me back within 48 hours. This is not acceptable. Being an XXXX XXXX American Express obviously has issues with security. In order for someone to complete a money transfer it not only requires the 4 digit pin and security code from the physical card. I just need my refund so i can move on. <P/>Below you will see the email i sent them on XX/XX/XXXX regarding me being hacked with another of their products. <P/><P/>XX/XX/XXXX : I am contacting you regarding an ongoing issue regarding one of your products specifically BlueBird by American Express. I have been a cardholder for approximately 4 years and during this course of time I have had 4 instances of unauthorized charges. The most recent being this past week/weekend. I logged into my account and noticed that there were 4 charges that I DID NOT make or authorize for a total of {$190.00}. I contacted Bluebird to file a claim and inquire about withdrawing all of my money as I am fed up. I was told that I could not file a claim until the charges have cleared my account. On Monday two of the charges posted and I filed a claim and was waiting for the other charges to clear. Today I recieved an email that stated my claim had been denied and my account was being closed for violation of Bluebird Member Agreement Section 22d. I immediately contacted Bluebird yet again to inquire why I was denied and my account closed. I was told that American Express deemed the charges valid, denied my claim and that if I wanted to know more to write a letter. I assure you that with me living in North Carolina I HAVE NOT been to California nor have I authorized any charges and I am still in possession of my card. I asked for clarification on what 22d was and the offshore manager stated that I need to look it up. I need someone to address this matter and not dismiss my issue as trivial. I have filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau hence the subject line of this email, I have also filed a complaint with the Attorney General in New York and North Carolina. I am also reaching out to local media outlets in my area in the hopes they can help this issue gain some traction and exposure. Again, I would greatly appreciate it if someone would contact me regarding this matter. I am attaching the emails I received as well as the only screen shot I have of my account since Bluebird has closed my account and I no longer have access.

After 30-days of usage and 'timely paying in full ', I made inquiry into the Credit Reporting process. Subject Credit Card Merchant informed they would make credit reporting available for subject card after 2-billing statements have closed. Two billing statements have closed and as of XX/XX/XXXX, no credit reporting for this CC has occurred. This Consumer has 2-active open CC 's with said merchant and both are in 'good standing and never late '. Not reporting this card does not legitmately provide accurate, correct information on the consumer 's credit report in terms of history, balance, and credit availability in a timely manner ( as promised ) ; Thereby, alternatively suppressing the Consumer 's FICO Scoring.

Complaint: I applied for the American Express Platinum card with American Express and got approved for the card on XX/XX/XXXX. The signup bonus of this card is receiving XXXX Membership Rewards by spending {$3000.00} with the card within 90 days from opening of the account. I met this spending requirement and received XXXX Membership Rewards on XX/XX/XXXX. As I noticed the card was not as good as I expected, I asked to close this account in XX/XX/XXXX. To my great surprise, I found after this account was closed, American Express removed XXXX Membership Rewards from my account on XX/XX/XXXX. I called them several times to resolve this issue but was told that I could not get the Membership Rewards back with no explanation at all.

Complaint: Opened a credit card with American Express in XXXX while in college. Credit card account was cancelled in XXXX XXXX with a balance of {$3600.00}. I was making sporadic payments through the end of XXXX and XXXX. Due to new employment, I have been making aggressive payments since XXXX of XXXX to pay off debt on card. I made a payment of {$500.00} on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, a payment of {$400.00} on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, a payment of {$500.00} on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, {$400.00} on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, and {$500.00} on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I try to make a payment for XXXX of XXXX and the website tells me I can not pay through their website, and to call the number on the back of my cancelled credit card. I call the CC company and they inform me they no longer have the debt and that I can not make payment. After transferring me between three different departments and nine different representatives, they are unable to provide me any information on who I need to make a payment to and that they have no information on my account. Logging in through the credit card company, I can see the minimum payment due on XXXX XXXX XXXX {$170.00} ) in addition to recent payments and total balance still owed ( {$1200.00} ). Company will not allow me to make payments on my debt, which according to multiple representatives, is still being held by the CC company.

I immediately contacted Amex at the number printed on the card and complained. I also brought up a very specific request that Amex should investigate when and who applied for the card impersonating me knowing my SSN. Amex call center representative agreed. But in the letter dated XXXX XXXX from Amex and XXXX, they only apologized for any inconvenience short of mentioning anything about possible ID theft investigation. As I complained over the phone again about their insincerity, I decided to escalate it to the government. Complaint: The owners of business # 1, myself and my wife, were in the process of buying business # 2 in XXXX. We completed this process in XX/XX/XXXX. Last year American Express ( AmEx ) authorized a " pay over time '' feature for Business # 1 's AmEx. Business # 1 informed AmEx their balance would get substantially higher due to attorney fees and other fees related to purchasing the new business. AmEx informed B # 1 by phone that this was fine and there was no limit on the card, and even tested a $ XXXX transaction saying the test transaction was not declined. In XX/XX/XXXX B # 1 informed AmEx it was closing on B # 2 and would only put a few more expenses on the card, then begin paying the debt down via the " pay over time '' feature which was given. In XXXX, XXXX, or XXXX, AmEX suspended the " pay over time '' feature, causing the B # 1 bill to spike from $ XXXX $ XXXX to $ XXXX. Before the payment was due, I called AmEx to explain that we would not be able to pay the $ XXXX, which were transactions after the unannounced " pay over time '' feature. AmEx said to wait until the payment was due, then call customer service to re-explain the situation. Since XXXX of this year, B # 1 has been making small payments to AmEx and seeking smaller payment plan options without closing the account. The problem would never been a problem if the " pay over time '' feature was n't removed. That is the single reason payments became delinquent. AmEx explained to me that the feature was removed as " protection '' for me due to the credit bereau 's reports about my high credit to debt ration. I said it did the opposite and made it impossible for me to catch back up. As of XXXX XXXX, I told AmEx I needed a payment plan without closing the card, since the only reason we fell behind was due to the " pay over time '' feature being suspended. I told them I could make larger payments which still were smaller than the minimum amount due if they would n't close my card. AmEx could not offer any guarantee that they would not close my card. So I am stuck in a situation where I can continue making payments all without the guarantee that they would not close my card. If they close my card, it hurts my credit and lose over 70k of rewards points attached to the card. On top of this, I have another account with AmEx for the new business where payments are current.

Complaint: For twelve ( 12 ) years Ive been called a privileged member of the American Express Card, but it seems they change their minds, as they recently canceled my account without any notice. When I try to find out the reason for said cancellation, they alleged that they do it for three ( 3 ) reasons : I have a decrease in my credit score punctuation Two ( 2 ) late payments, One unpaid payment for insufficient funds First of all, my credit score punctuation has been the same for more than one year ; it doesnt decrease in any way, as they said. The two ( 2 ) late payments alleged, were made on the past year, not on this year, and it was the only time that this happens in the past 12 years of using the credit card. The called unpaid payment was a payment made in advance, as the account was on-date. If the reasons alleged were reasonable, then why they dont cancel my account during the past year, and decide to do it now. I will understand so, and will not feel angry for that, if there was a real understandable reason for the cancellation. I think that maybe their action now responds to a claim made a few days before ( the first-one I made in 12 years ), when I finally was oriented that during the 12 years I have accumulated a total of XXXX points, which is equivalent to {$10000.00}, and that I could use the points to pay the total amount due on my account up to that date, which was around {$6000.00}, and still have enough points to continue and keep on using the credit card. When I called to make that move and ask them to redeem the points acquired, they canceled the credit account and the points accumulated for said years without any notice or advise. Clearly it looks that this is a strategy for not redeem the points, in order to keep on receiving money from their members, instead of applying the points acquired to the account. In the past 12 years, every time I need to talk to someone by phone, there was a XXXX speaking person on the other side eager to help me. Since this situation happened, I ask for a reconsideration, and every time I try to call and ask for a XXXX speaking person to explain the situation, theres no one able to speak to me in XXXX, and I have to talk to an interpreter, which results humiliate for me, as it is difficult for me to understand all the terms in english. This is why after seeing your online page, I decide to write you, and ask you to assist me in this matter. I will be grateful for your assistance.
