Complaint: I have had an account with American Express Bluebird for several years with no issues. then on XX/XX/2019 at XXXX XXXX I received an email that my account was suspended. I wasn't sure if It was a spam mail or not so I called the number on back of my card and it was confirmed by a recorded message to be suspended. I then called the number given in the emails and asked why this happened and the representative I spoke with said he was not allowed to tell me then promptly hung up on me. I am on SSI XXXX and have it setup direct deposit. It looks like I will not be getting my check for XXXX because of this, I need that to pay my rent, electric, groceries, and to travel for several medical appointments coming up. I also had a remaining balance on the card I would like to get back.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I returned some tools to XXXX and they was paid for with my Bluebird card so XXXX put the money back on my card so next morning XX/XX/XXXX when I seen money wasn't on my card I called the and here what Bluebird is telling us is that XXXX made a mistake or a error when they tried to put money back on my card they didn't and only to take out the same amount again and Bluebird even told me that might not get money at all and there isn '' t nothing they can do but when I called XXXX and ask them they called Bluebird on the phone with me and Blue bird tried to lie again but the lady from XXXX let them know she been listening to mine and their call and thats when they bluebird finally told me for first time was that the whole mistake was there mistake and said it could take 8 days for the money to return to my account ... .. But wait this isn '' t the first time they have done this to me last month the same thing happen the whole thing until XXXX call Bluebird on phone with m e on line with them I believe that this company is just holding up our money just to draw interest on it and another is try and call bluebird 1 number don '' t work and the other hangs up ( by itself on their cardholder ) and last times it took 3 days for me to get my money and thats what I been told this times until today now they said didnt know when

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I submitted an application for a credit card with American Express XXXX XXXX. After purchasing a air ticket on XXXX with the new credit card account XXXX temporary account ), the publicity said that I should receive {$200.00} credit back on my statement after 2 or 3 billing cycles ( due XX/XX/XXXX ). Since then, I called the company multiple times and had a few chat conversations with Amex to ask I did not receive the credit. For my surprise, today, after 4 months, the company refused to give me the credit back, alleging that my credit history with AMEX was not satisfactory based on introductory offers and other products. I asked for a detailed explanation and the agent said that this was all for the moment. I felt completely misled by this bad publicity. I opened the account to get the credit back, and for some unknown reason, I did not get anything at all.

Complaint: American Express mailed me a solicitation to apply for the American Express Delta SkyMiles Card. The solicitation promised XXXX bonus miles if I was approved for the card and spent {$2000.00} on the card. I responded to the solicitation, applied for and was approved for the card. Then, as induced by the solicitation, I made a financial transaction in excess of {$2000.00}. I was then granted XXXX bonus miles, instead of the XXXX promised. I contacted the company and they said, Oh, your offer was only XXXX. I still have the original offer in my possession. I have provided a copy of it to American Express but to no avail. I believe American Express used a bait and switch scheme to fraudulently induce me to make a financial transaction in excess of {$2000.00}.

Complaint: I have been a bluebird customer for over 5 years. When I started my account I was able to withdraw money from a XXXX ATM near in my area I live and not be charged. I recently noticed I have Avery high amount on my yearly atm withdrawal fees. For the fact when I opened my account I was able to withdraw my money without a fee. Now I have to pay the fee for the atm I use plus I have to pay the fee through bluebird. I'm simply asking for a one time reimbursement of some kind. I have {$250.00} in fees this year. Why is there no longer a XXXX XXXX atm in my area? why am I having to pay all the fees when there was one when I started my account? Ive used this card for years. I don't even want to know the total amount of this fee alone. But I'm not asking to be refunded all of it. I am asking to be refunded the last 365 days. 6 months atleast. On the future I will be aware of the fees and I will make myself accountable.

So I called American Express to find out whats going on, they told me there was suspicious activity on my account and they locked my account, if there was any money on the card that it was gone. My husband just got paid through direct deposit and they closed the account and our money was gone. They sent me three more emails stating the same information and gave me an address to write to them these emails were received on XX/XX/XXXX.
