Complaint: Over 5 month ago I applied for two nummbers of leases in the amounts of XXXX $ for a mattress and couch with turned to XXXX, 26 number of payments of XXXX tax excluded.
The second lease was in the amount of XXXX turned to XXXX, 26 number of payments of XXXX tax excluded at shop for 3 initialed services in 3 days, Day one after leaving the shop i found out that they have broke a piece in my vehicle and they have stole my personal belongings, i called the shop and explained the situation and they refused to fix it, i tried and called Acima to at least get the other two un-received services off the lease the person assisting me agreed to contact the shop and take care of it.
I now have paid more than 50 % but that most be it, I believe I have paid enough with all the suffering.acima absolutely didnt show any care about my requests.

Complaint: I recently got hit with a 30 day late payment from XXXXXXXX XXXXAcima. I been set up on automatic payments from XXXX for a ring that I have never received. I been calling and speaking to reps to assist me or give me a resolution. I received an email XX/XX/2019 stating the ring was ready to be picked up. I never got the ring and on XX/XX/XXXX I received an email saying they verified with merchant and " confirmed '' I took the ring and in the same email they are asking for my mailing address to ship me the ring ... and once i have the ring I can cancel and issue a return. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to customer service they said they would investigate and get back to me and they would stop charging me. I been waiting for a follow up call and I haven't heard anything. but I got a late payment for this month, I been getting charged a total of {$600.00} for a ring I have NEVER received.

Complaint: I have previous sent an email of a police report on XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX regarding fraud activities. I never received a response back. I have sent a certified debt validation letter to Acima on XX/XX/XXXX. Acima responded back requesting additional information such as DOB and SSN, I also provided them with the full alleged account number. On XX/XX/XXXX, I've sent another certified debt validation letter which includes the requested information from Acima along with a police report that was provided to me on XX/XX/XXXX with a couple of accounts that has been fraud. The case status on the report still says pending because no one was charge with this crime. Acima responded on XX/XX/XXXX with documents that claims to validate this alleged debt. Please see attachments. I do not have a hand written signed contract. I never done business with this company. I am not not liable for the collection from this debt. Fraud alert has been placed on my report multiple times. I'm a victim of identity theft and it has played a major part in the account from Acima. I need for this company to removed it IMMEDIATELY.

Complaint: on XX/XX/XXXX i received a notification from XXXX notifying me that a new account has been added to my credit file, upon me checking my credit report i learned that the new account was from Acima, which is a company i dont have any knowledge of, Additionally my credit file indicated this account was opened in XXXX of XXXX HOWEVER i have a Fraud alert on my credit file where any new accounts must be verified by me before opening and no one has contacted me to verify that it was me opening the account.
Please provide me with a copy of any original documentation documentation ( a consumer contract with my signature on it ) required under section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) & Section 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ). I would also like to know your method of verification used to verify this account which is required under Section 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ). Complaint: I went to get my car fixed at a business in XXXX, NC. The price jumped on me when unexpected issues was needed to fix my car. That price climbed up too {$1300.00}. I was offered by the mechanic working to the company Acima. I applied and was accepted. As soon as I was accepted I took the it and I was able to get my car fix. That was the 1st email I received confirming the transaction and at the bottom a link to the lease contract was their but was unavailable after that day and the lease was not on the website either. That day I contacted Acima credit whom I was never able to reach on the phone but through a chat that disappears afterwards hiding the conversation from the customer. I told them I was doing the 90 day buyout and I was not paying for 12months. My payment method changed and I began to pay the 90 day rate per month. XXXX was the month Of the 90 days. It is required to do auto payment I was told and they deducted from my account. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email saying insufficient funds on my account. I reached out to the company on the instant message chat to make a payments to finish the buyout and was told I could no longer do that. Even though I was paying the rate of the early buyout plan. In the conversation I was told I couldnt do it and to look at my lease which I never had access to at all!!!! After messaging the guy explaining how it was a rip off to need {$1.00}, XXXX but be charged {$2400.00}. After arguing with the guy over not paying he said that I could pay on XX/XX/XXXX and I could buyout on the XXXX amount. He than recanted saying I cant. I ask for a manger which said my payments did not go through but I wasnt notified about it until a month later threw the 6th and finally email ever received. I feel like i wasnt notified to push me into the 2nd buyout paying 35 % of the total amount. I asked for her supervisor which after discussing with her how I felt she told me I could do a settlement if I payed the remaining of the {$1300.00} and that I had until XX/XX/2019 to decide. She said that after doing the settlement that they would report it to XXXX as a settlement essentially putting my credit score in jeopardy. I called back to ask for documentation to overview the settlement offer over the weekend, speaking to a new women because I was told the supervisor was busy. She said I couldnt be provided any documentation and that I had to decide on the settlement that very moment on the phone on XX/XX/2019 and not be given the weekend to think over even though the she was a manager and the supervisor had told me something different. I was given no documentation to look at. The manager told me that manager and supervisors have the right to change the settlements offers whenever they want. After hearing that I knew something was definitely wrong and said I will call Monday to speak to The supervisor. Before Monday during the weekend Im writing this complaint. I finally received my lease on XX/XX/2019 after having to request it several times and read the foolery that Leasing contract is. This has to be illegal or unethical to charge people these amounts with the lack of communication to customers and misinformation from employees as well as a horrible website that does not provide the lease contract to be seen. I was misguided and lied too from several employees on multiple aspects regarding my lease on my options to pay and employee agreements. The lease agreement is a ploy How can you rent rotors for my car?? How can you rent maintenance labor that added to the price of my payment e?? Its a scam and a lie to play customers by getting threw the system.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX has taken money from my account without authorization TWICE. I agreed to a catch-up plan with this company because I was one payment behind on furniture rental. The verbal and written authorization was for the amount of XXXX. Instead, XXXX XXXX ran the payment from my account for XXXX on XX/XX/19 which was not the amount that we agreed upon. This overdrew my account because I had only enough money in the account to cover the amount of the payment. They refunded the money to me but did not cover any overdraft fees even though they were the reason for my overdraft fees The second time was today, XX/XX/19. I chatted with an agent named XXXX and I agreed for another catch-up plan to start on XX/XX/19 for the amounts of XXXX and another payment to be taken on XX/XX/19 for XXXX. These were to be my final two payments for the account and they were to be taken from my XXXX XXXX acct. Today ( XX/XX/19 ) they took payment for XXXX from another account and I did not authorize that. I have screenshots from the chat that I conducted with XXXX and I explained in the chat that the last fiasco that we had resulted in overdraft fees and that I was not able to make this months payment. This is a horrible business that lives to takes its customers money. Just because it caters to consumers with. not so good credit does not mean that we can just be taken advantage of. I WANT MY MONEY BACK and I plan to file a dispute with my bank. This is craziness and I need it to stop.

Complaint: I bought Furniture at XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TX on the XX/XX/XXXX. The cost of the Furniture was {$2000.00}, so the Seller got me a finance Company called ACIMA CREDIT LLC to finance the loan. He told me that I will not be required to pay any interest for 3-6months. After the purchase, ACIMA deducts {$160.00} to {$160.00} from my account every two weeks. I called ACIMA on the XX/XX/XXXX to complain of my financial hardship and to know how to clear the loan. To my surprise, their Customer representative told me that the total amount I need to pay is {$4400.00} and that I just paid about # XXXX XXXX and my balance should be {$3.00}, XXXX. I told her that I will not be able to pay that amount unless they want the Furniture back. She said that she will send me a return slip but that I will forfeit the amount I paid already. I called ACIMA again today and was told that the 3 months Grace period expired on that XX/XX/XXXX. Meanwhile, I called ACIMA on the XX/XX/XXXX but the Representative I called did not tell me about that. I now opted to pay the remaining {$1000.00} to close the case but was told that I need to pay {$2300.00} including the {$1000.00} deducted from my account by ACIMA. Since XX/XX/XXXX was the last day for their grace period for the loan, I am required to pay interest of {$1300.00} for taking a loan of {$2000.00} for 3days. This is very unfair.

Complaint: I financed a rebuilt transmission on XX/XX/XXXX at a XXXX store using Acima Credit. The finance price was {$2500.00} if paid off in 90 days. If you do not pay the balance in 90 days the total payment over a 12 month period would be {$5300.00}. I did not know in the beginning but this is a rent to own purchase. I never received the lease agreement in the mail and I never received an email communication from them for the first 4 to 5 months. If I initially finance {$2500.00} but end up paying paying {$5300.00} over a 12 month period, then this is EXCESSIVE and predatory because i never received communication about these terms. I looked at the complaints for this company on XXXX and many customers are saying the same thing. Please look into this company on it's slick way of charging consumers EXCESSIVE and predatory rates.

Complaint: purchased two mattresses and box springs and was recently informed a nightstand. The purchase was at XXXX XXXX in XXXX, MD in XX/XX/XXXX for {$1400.00} and a {$52.00} startup fee with the agreement that {$230.00} bi weekly for 90 days to pay it off no interest. Once the month of XXXX came, there was an original issue of the payment amount and when the payment was to be taken out of my account, which was corrected, and they took the amount out for the first time in XXXX, but the actual amount the bill should have been for was still not corrected. Unfortunately, the last week of XXXX I noticed that the mattress was broken ( leaning on one side ) and did not hold up and the one I received wasn't comfortable, I contact the merchant I made the purchase at and ACIMA, who was the finance/leasing company, that the mattress was broken and about a chest that was broken and that I wanted them replaced or repaired. I also noticed that the amount ACIMA had for my balance was not the amount I had agreed too at the signing of the lease and asked them if they could correct it. They ( Acima ) stated they would reach out to XXXX XXXX to correct the amount and they would hold the account until they received the corrected amount and fix the problem with the items purchased ( the mattresses and box springs ). I called regularly and kept communication with ACIMA regarding if they had received and updated the amount as well as received word about the repair/replacement as I was sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress and my son is on a broken mattress that wasn't even 45 days old. The XXXX XXXX never replied to them nor me, even after several attempts from the XXXX and with their corporate office, which I am still at battle with regarding the purchases. I decided to go ahead and tell ACIMA to come and get the mattress as I could no longer be in discomfort waiting for things to be corrected, this includes the price and broken item. In addition, I did not even know that a nightstand was included on the lease, as I thought I had purchased two with the purchase of the other pieces I purchased that were not financed/leased, and that too was an issue. However, I was advised the process in XXXX on how to return it and was told that they would reach out to XXXX XXXX again to get the price corrected and to call back in XXXX, which is what I did and it was not done so I told them that was it, I want them to come and get the mattress sets and I would purchase new ones from somewhere else. They advised on where to call to set everything up, which I did, and they requested to send pictures via email of all the furniture within 72 hours, which I did and then to call and schedule a pick up, so it will not be considered a repossession. I did that and when I called they informed me that after three weeks or more of communication on picking up the items, that they were not coming to get it, that they had written it off as a charge off at the beginning of XXXX and they could settle for over {$1600.00}, which is more that I even paid originally for the items and now not only have they depreciated, but they were broken and I was very upset as they never mentioned this and after being advised from the supervisor to go purchase new ones and to start the process after I purchased the new ones so I would not be without a mattress ( s ). I had already set up the date for delivery of the new ones and all based on what they had informed me and now I am stuck with no good mattress sets all ready and packed to go and a bill not even made aware of until now and not to mention a dent on my credit report. I asked the specialist ( supervisor ) why wasn't I informed before all of this, as I had just received an email from them advising they had received the pictures and to call to schedule the pick up, and was told they don't know why and it is nothing I can do now but to accept their offer and also they could not confirm if they had even properly notified me via mail or email of their process or decision regarding the charge off. Therefore, I am requesting them to come and retrieve the items and settle for the amount that the mattress are actually worth, as they are now over 6 months old, still broken and an inconvenience to me altogether. The two sets alone were not even {$1400.00} so why would I pay even more, even after they received two deposits and a full payment.
