Debt was paid
Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX , we were made aware of an outstanding ( prior to XXXX ) debt with Wells Fargo while applying for a home mortgage. Despite the age of the debt, we paid the outstanding balance so we could move forward with our loan ( oddly enough, with Wells Fargo ) . On XXXX / XXXX / XXXX , we received verification that the loan had been satisfied from XXXX XXXX XXXX . This was then forwarded to XXXX XXXX on XXXX / XXXX / XXXX . Since XXXX / XXXX / XXXX , we 've received threatening calls from no less than 6 different companies, threatening to sue us, come to our places of business and at one point, our employer was contacted. Today, we received a call from XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX . She left a message that we were being served legal papers at our place of employment. Provided a file number and a call back number. We returned the call and spoke with XXXX XXXX , in " arbitration ''. She claimed to have a " junket ''. She confirmed the account number with Wells Fargo that has been in question since XXXX of XXXX . My husband ( whose name was on the account ), stated that we would appreciate being served these " papers '' so we could respond appropriately. He also let XXXX know that this has been sold repeatedly and we would appreciate no more phone calls. My husband has contacted Wells Fargo and they 've confirmed that this is no longer an active account number.
Please assist us with getting this handled. This is beyond harassment as we are both getting calls and now employers are being contacted. Despite proving evidence of our payment to several " collectors '', this debit continues to be re-sold.

You told them to stop contacting you, but they keep trying
Complaint: A few months ago my parents received phone calls on their personal cell homes and home landline from Wells Fargo Dealer Services. Voicemails were left at the time asking them to be called back. My dad returned the call think it was regarding a student loan he had cosigned on with me through Wells Fargo and when he found out it was about a car loan he told them they should contact me and not him as he did n't have anything to do with this and was n't authorized to talk about that account. They then placed calls to my mom 's cell and left a message and my parents landline. I called them back and asked why they were calling those phone numbers when I had never given them those phone numbers, nor authorized them to call those numbers and leave voicemails. They said they had no idea how those calls went out because they did n't have the numbers anywhere on file and should n't be calling those numbers. I told them I was extremely frusterated by this because it caused my parents unnecessary stress and concern. I asked where they acquired the numbers since they did n't have them on file and the associate kept saying he did n't know and they were n't listed anywhere on my file. He said he would make a note that they did n't call those numbers again. I asked that if they wanted to talk about money I owe they call me only and/or mail me something telling me to contact them. Today ( X/X/17 ) my dad recieved a call from XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX and when he answered they asked for me and he said they had the wrong number and he hung up. They called him at XXXX. A few seconds later the number called my cell. I was n't able to answer as I am at the hospital.
I am upset that Wells Fargo continues to harass my parents in an attempt to reach me when I have asked them not to. Also, that they continue to call phone numbers that they claim to have no knowledge of having or using.

Complaint: Second Request - XX/XX/XXXX First Request - XX/XX/XXXX I am requesting your assistance, for we have been XXXX by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. I was forced to sell my home for WFHM refused to assist me with a requested modification after my employer transferred positions to XXXX, XXXX. Every time I spoke with one of their many customer service reps who assured me they were not moving for foreclosure on my home, I received a letter in the mail from WFHM stating they were indeed moving for foreclosure on my home. I sold my home on XXXX XXXX, XXXX in fear of being put out into the streets. After all of the lies and deceit we encountered from them ... i.e .... having to fax the same documents over and over again, constant changing of customer service reps who would request the same documents ... it was a nightmare. It took a toll on my husband 's mental and physical health. I no longer trusted them and I still do n't trust them as of today. WFHM sent me a letter stating the payoff amount of {$110000.00}. This is also reflected on the XXXX Form XXXX. When we sat at the closing table within 30 days of the payoff statement, the amount had changed to {$120000.00}. WFHM withheld an additional {$6500.00} with no reasonable explanation. WFHM falsified a federal XXXX Form XXXX stating Mortgage Interest received from payee as {$5200.00} which failed to include the late fees they charged me for 12 months at the rate of {$49.00} per month, while waiting for a modification with them. I do n't believe this amount to be accurate, for the XXXX Form XXXX reflected a change in the Mortgage Interest received from payer on a corrected Substitute Form XXXX as {$7000.00} from the original amount of {$5200.00}. WFHM falsified a federal XXXX Form XXXX stating real estate taxes {$0.00}. I have receipt in hand of Property taxes in the amount of {$1000.00} were paid by the buyer on XX/XX/XXXX. Why did WFHM take this amount of money as " Settlement charges to seller '' from me? This home was sold on XX/XX/XXXX. WFHM falsified a federal XXXX Form XXXX stating real estate taxes {$0.00}. I have receipt in hand of XXXX taxes in the amount of {$1500.00} were paid by the buyer on XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX. # XXXX. Why did WFHM take this amount of money as " Settlement charges to seller '' from me? This home was sold on XX/XX/XXXX. WFHM falsified a federal XXXX Form XXXX stating real estate taxes {$0.00}. I have receipt in hand of School taxes in the amount of {$1800.00} were paid by the buyer on XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX XXXX. Why did WFHM take this amount of money as " Settlement charges to seller '' from me? This home was sold on XX/XX/XXXX. WFHM falsified a federal XXXX Form XXXX stating Mortgage insurance premiums of {$470.00}. This was for Private Mortgage Insurance only. I have receipt in hand that in XX/XX/XXXX WFHM paid XXXX XXXX {$1200.00} for Homeowners insurance on my home. This policy period was from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. Why did WFHM take this amount of money as " Settlement charges to seller '' from me? This home was sold on XX/XX/XXXX. There was an Escrow account with my loan. The XX/XX/XXXX statement reflect Year-to-date summary amount in Escrow in the amount of {$480.00}. The XX/XX/XXXX statement reflect Escrow balance - {$410.00}. If indeed I did not pay these taxes at the end of ownership and WFHM Form XXXX reflects this, then why did they withhold {$6500.00} as " Settlement charges to seller? '' Why have they not returned this money to us? If I did pay these taxes at the end of ownership, then why does n't the Form XXXX reflect this in XXXX XXXX XXXX paid. This has caused me and my husband undue hardship as a result of their falsifications and has sent my husband 's health into a declining state due to their inaccurate financial calculations. I demand they return to me and my husband monies in the amount of {$6500.00} within 15 days of the date of this letter.

Complaint: My sons attend college in another city and their mother and I pay their rent by making deposits into their checking account, which they then use to pay their rent. Their bank is Wells Fargo, and the last time I went to deposit a personal check into their account the Teller informed me that I needed to have my son endorse the back of the check. It 's only been one Wells Fargo location that has this endorsement requirement. Through persistence, the Teller agreed to deposit my personal check into my son 's checking account. I called that location to validate and clarify for future reference and they informed me that Wells Fargo is now requiring the back of the check be endorsed by my son. The amount of the check is {$700.00} and is drawn on a local bank. This method has worked well for the past 2 1/2 years. I can search for alternate means of depositing money into their account, but my depositing a personal check into their account has many advantages for me. My questions are what prompted this change or tightening of endorsement requirements and does this violate any banking regulations?
