Complaint: I opened a Wells Fargo checking account on XX/XX/XXXX as part of a promotion that would provide a {$250.00} bonus after opening a new checking account and setting up a direct deposit amount of {$500.00} or more within 60 days of account opening. All terms of this offer were met and completed on XX/XX/XXXX. The bonus was supposed to be issued within 45 days of meeting the terms of this offer. It has now exceeded 45 days. The bank is now claiming that I was not targeted for this offer on their internal system.
I have attached the screenshot from Wells Fargo describing the offer as well as a copy of my checking account application email confirming my enrollment in the offer.

Complaint: After losing my job around XX/XX/XXXX, I was struggling to get by. Then XXXX XXXX destroyed my house in XXXX Georgia on XX/XX/XXXX. My wife and XXXX small children spent two months in a hotel before finding a rental. Our insurance was paying for the rental until XX/XX/XXXX. On or about XX/XX/XXXX we contacted Wells Fargo property loss department to get get two checks endorsed for the completion of our house. We explained to XXXX XXXX our situation on timing and we 're told she would get it so we could have the checks endorsed in a branch instead of mailing them in. After attempting to contact her several more times over a two week period we talke to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. Who told my wife and I that the people in the property loss department INTENTIONALLY LIE to the customers about issues like that. This was on a recorded line. After explaining that we were out of time due to the rental constraints we talked to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX in the executive complaint department. Our checks were still not endorsed and the builder was going to put a lien on the house. We talked to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and he advised to send in the checks but at this point we were already out of time. We can not get our personal property out of storage and are being charged {$2000.00} for rent and {$1400.00} for rental furniture and housewares. Talking to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX the checks are still not endorsed and they will not pay for the costs we accrued because of their lack of action. We are still waiting on resolution. We have XXXX children ages XXXX and XXXX. Our XXXX year old son who is XXXX in the XXXX this home is his permanent address. Wells Fargo still refuses to help in any way.

Debt was paid
Complaint: Today is X/X/2017. I have spoken with Wells Fargo Dealer Services on several occasions and submitted proof of payment from XX/XX/XXXX 2017 to XX/XX/XXXX 2017. I am up to date on all payments however I am constantly receiving calls twice a day, 6 days a week from Wells Fargo even after speaking with them and sending in proof of 2017s payment history with proof of certified documents delivered and received.

The issues started, when I submitted a money order to Wells Fargo in XX/XX/XXXX 2017. I noted on the money order for the payment to be applied to the principal. Wells Fargo conveniently claimed they never received my money order in the mail. I had to cancel the money order and wait for a new one to be reissued through XXXX XXXXX. The process took over 30 days for the money order to be traced and refunded. When I finally received the money order I re-submitted it to Wells Fargo through certified mail. I also submitted several money orders in XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX 2017.
However, Wells Fargo is continuing to play games claiming I still owe two back payments plus XXXX in late fees. This company calls me every day attempting to collect money that I do not owe. Im also receiving calls from the repossession department. The problem has gotten out of control with Wells Fargo and this company continues to violate my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. My only option was to file a claim and reach out to the necessary authorities because of Wells Fargos deceptive business practices.
Wells Fargo is a predatory lending company. My car loan originally included a loan Packed with Junk Fees like gap insurance and a vehicle service contract. A car valued at XXXX sold at XXXX ( through the dealership ) ended up costing me nearly XXXX. Wells Fargo and the dealership already got over on me, and Wells Fargo is continuing to beat me out of more hard-earned money and now attempting to make an illegal repossession.
Wells Fargo does not have the right to continue to use repossession as a threat under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act because You can not use false or misleading representations to collect a debt. Wells Fargo does not have the right to continue to call my business phone twice a day six days a week after I have submitted proof of payment and after I have repeatedly asked them to investigate the matter and to seize all contact to my business line.
Wells Fargo does not have the right to continue to falsify actual payments received or the legal status of any debt ; the following conduct is a violation of section 808 Unfair practices and 807 false or misleading representations. Wells Fargo does not have the right to withhold sent payments and to refuse to credit my account. Wells Fargo is not willing to comply or investigate the matter simply because they dont have to and I dont have the authority to force them to abide by the rules and regulations. So, I am reporting them and seeking some form of resolution with Wells Fargo Dealership Services.

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: Upon contacting fraud department ( by phone ) on XX/XX/XXXX for the third time regarding status on claim filed on XX/XX/XXXX, I was told by Wells Fargo representative that my claim was denied per investigator 's report/notes. According to WF, their investigator had called the vendor, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and apparently was told by vendor that I authorized these charges over the phone. I feuded with this WF rep for about 15 minutes that I absolutely did not make such charges nor did I authorize same. He could not, or would not, help in any manner except suggest that I submit a " Reconsideration '' request letter either by mail or fax. I completed the letter and sent to WF via fax later that day on XX/XX/XXXX My complaint is that now I 'm being held liable for these charges even though WF advertises that customers are protected from unauthorized charges on Visa credit cards. Additionally, It seemed as though they simply took the vendor at his word without so much as obtaining any proof. Where is this protection and why is the burden placed on consumer to resolve? Please review summary of events noted below and advise : On XX/XX/XXXX, I was contacted by a credit card service/machine operator that processes credit card transactions for vendor ( I did not get a name, but it I confirmed with this male he was not with Wells Fargo ) warning me that unusual activity/charges were being charged against my card and that I needed to contact Wells Fargo in order to submit a fraud claim. He aIso confirmed that credit card info was " keyed in '' and not presented at time of transaction. I then went onto my online account and noticed that over {$12000.00} in charges had been made over 6 to 8 transactions to the same vendor ranging from {$1100.00} to {$4400.00} each beginning on XX/XX/XXXX. So I called the number listed on my WF online transaction report for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Upon inquiring with vendor about these charges, I explained that it was not me that made such charges and had him read back the info that was given for processing credit card. He appeared to be very cooperative on the phone and went on to tell me that a man calling himself, XXXX XXXX with phone number ( XXXX ) XXXX, had called in using my card and confirmed that he used all my billing information ( card number, expiration date, security code ) except he used an old zip code ( from a previous address that was nearly a year old ). After completing the phone call, I called Wells Fargo and initiated the fraud claim where I explained, in detail, what transpired on the phone with this vendor. I offered to provide the name and phone number referenced above but I was assured the investigator would call the same vendor I talked with earlier and obtain the same information. Now, after following up for a third time with WF and demanding to talk to a supervisor, another rep ( presumably a supervisor ) from explained that the charges were processed and allowed to post to account because his notes had indicated that WF investigator concluded that it was ME that gave billing info to vendor. Again, I argued that it was not me and expressed my frustration on how such an investigation could take place where they take the vendor 's word for it, even with the knowledge that an old zip code was used to key in the transaction! I was very clear that I have NEVER conducted business with this vendor and certainly have not received any goods or services from same. To add insult to injury, Wells Fargo reported the high balance to credit bureaus resulting in a slight score decrease. I also told the rep that it was very inconvenient that I had to write a letter in lieu of dealing with a banker and/or fraud investigator. Not to mention that the timeframe necessary to take care of all these mismanaged facts in this case were disruptive and will take an exceedingly long time to resolve ( 30 to 45 days according to WF rep ).
I should not be responsible for these charges and WF has not been diligent in representing and/or protecting my account. I 've been a customer with WF since XX/XX/XXXX and have used credit card for nearly {$500000.00} in charges over the years. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. I look forward to your response.

Public record information inaccurate
Complaint: First of all, I am a long term, loyal customer of Wells Fargo. I have been devastated and hurt by Wells Fargo and I am reaching out to you because I can not seem to get help through customer service without excuses, multiple dropped calls, transfers, and red tape. In XX/XX/XXXX, I had a mortgage with WF loan # XXXX. I had a short sale which involved extenuating circumstances. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Three weeks later there was a copycat incident next door ; however the parolee was arrested and sent to prison. Needless to say my property value plummeted. I continued to make payments for nearly a year and was advised that in order to do a short sale I had to stop making payments. Up to that point I was making payments on TWO WF mortgages.
The house finally sold as a short sale in XX/XX/XXXX with WF receiving ALL MONEY owed. This was not a foreclosure sale although foreclosure process had begun. I worked very closely with WF and my realtor. In fact, in the middle of this, WF refinanced my other mortgage on my XXXX XXXX property!
Recently I tried applying for a mortgage only to find out that WF listed this on my credit report as a foreclosure, completely destroying my chances of a home loan.
I have made numerous calls to WF. At one point a couple days ago, someone sent me a letter acknowledging the mortgage was paid in full. I called back to ask for another letter clarifying it was not sold as a foreclosure and was told " no '' because the record was purged!
I am shocked I can not get any assistance from WF. I was told that the information on this loan was " purged '' or archived because it was so old. I have been given a big runaround and can not get any anyone to help me.
I tried getting a mortgage from WF, and they are avoiding me and not returning my calls. I finally found out from a loan agent in another company that WF deemed this sale a FORECLOSURE so a home loan was not feasible. However, I would have qualified for a loan even with the short sale because I have an excellent history of paying my mortgages, and this was a short sale in XX/XX/XXXX with extenuating circumstances.
I would like WF to please correct my credit report AND please write me a letter saying that the " property was paid in full and sold not as the result of a foreclosure ''. Please do not deprive me of my right to home ownership.
I would have preferred simply to get a mortgage from WF but nothing looks possible now.
I have always spoken so highly of Wells Fargo, entrusted them with all my accounts, and felt like the institution looked out for me. Even during negative press about bad loans etc I was singing their praises about what an upstanding, honest loyal company you were.
Please help me. The loan number was XXXX The address was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX CA XXXX My phone number is ( XXXX ) XXXX. My current address is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX CA XXXX Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) Sent from my XXXX

Complaint: I am writing this complain in regards to claim Wells Fargo 's promotion credit. As per Wells Fargo 's previous Promotion in XXXX 2017, customers who open an Everyday Checking that can meet the designated requirements will receive a {$250.00} bonus credit within 45 days of the requirements being met.
XXXX
I opened my Everyday Checking account online on XXXX XXXX , 2017, and immediately received an email from Wells Fargo confirmed that my new account was eligible to receive a bonus offer. I have credited {$250.00} to my new Wells Fargo Everyday Checking account at opening, and made over 10 debit card purchases within the first 60 days ( Please refer the attached ). In addition, I have also contacted Wells Fargo Customer Service Representative by phone for the same issue for many times, even though they all confirmed that I have met the requirements to receive the {$250.00} bonus credit, but they NEVER credited me. It 's been almost 4 months since I opened the account at Wells Fargo, I 'd like to report this issue, and make Consumer Financial Protection Bureau aware of this fraudulent offer from Wells Fargo. Thank you.
