Complaint: On Friday XX/XX/XXXX I called Wells Fargo from a phone number ( work ) in my profile to request a credit line increase. After validating my current / open account with the representative I was sent to underwriting ; were I revalidated my identity, so a credit report could be reviewed. Then I was transferred to the Fraud department and requested to further detail my identity. At this point I was unsure about answering the question " what year was my house was built '' the agent stated I could call back in and redo the application process ; consequently, having a second credit report pulled. So I ended up guessing on the question, and was wrong, so they locked my account. I was advised I would need to take two pieces of ID into a Wells Fargo branch to validate my identity ; however, there are no Wells branches in Michigan. I was then advised to go to any bank. On MondayXX/XX/XXXX I went to my primary checking account institution and explained the ridiculous request to Member Services. I have banked with this institution for more than 20 years and not to my surprise they declined calling the Wells Fargo Fraud department and validating my Credit Card / ID info. I mean why would they, it is not their account. Frustrated I called Wells and filed a customer service complaint as I was investing more time than necessary. I even requested closing the account and was denied until the fraud lock was removed. Think about this - I validated my identity with Wells twice for an existing account, which was already established and cleared by the Fraud alert at the time of opening, more than five years ago. So they think some human broke into my office, sat down at my work desk and called My credit card to request a credit line increase. There verify identity with caller ID. After Filing the complaint I waited 24 hours without response. So again yesterday I tried 2 more Financial Institutions. XXXX and XXXX and was also both turned away stating this was not something they were comfortable doing. One Banker stated how do we now you did not steal the wallet. Even more frustrated I called Wells again on XX/XX/XXXX and requested to speak with a supervisor, I explained to him that I have tried to clear with three banks, tried to close my account, filed a customer complaint and requested an alternate option since they have no local branches in my state.

Complaint: I had a vehicle which I voluntarily turned in for a repossion in XXXX on XXXX. Since, that time I have made a number of attempts to resolve the outstanding balance. Specifically, on XXXX XXXX I left a voice mail message which was never returned. I again called on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and spoke to a representative in the Wells Fargo XXXX XXXX Account department as I was prepared to begin to pay off or make a final settlement arrangement for the outstanding balance of {$5000.00} and to request that balance to detract the {$2300.00} which was what my vehicle was sold for which would have left an outstanding balance of {$2700.00} and I was prepared to either pay this in full or make appropriate settlement arrangement. I was informed that they would accept NO money towards this outstanding debt and was told that Wells Fargo does not sell any of their accounts to any third party collection agencies and was told that they do not. I did ask for any other options which may be available and was told no that my only option is to allow it to remain on my credit report for the remaining XXXX years.

Complaint: I recently closed on my loan, and my loan was quickly sold to Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo, without any reasoning or backup, changed my escrow withholding to be different than what is on my closing documents by about {$200.00} a month. The forecasts they used to justify this change are wildly out of line with closing documents as well as documented county tax information. They are telling me they will not adjust my escrow amounts due despite my having documentation of my closing estimates and my tax bills.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX, I called XXXX to make 1 pymt ( XX/XX/XXXX ) today {$730.00} on acct # XXXX. Spoke to rep id # XXXX wanted to charge me additional fee of {$12.00} to make pymt. I advised never have been charged a FEE to pay in past months. I asked for free method of pymt, said I could pay online at no charge. In the meantime I called in to another Wells Fargo # XXXX, and made my other Wells Fargo payment over the phone FREE AT NO CHARGE! I asked the rep id # XXXX could she also take this payment, looked it up and said no you have to pay a FEE to make this payment? But I could go online. When I sign into online the message is : Your MORTGAGE ... XXXX is not currently eligible for online payments. ETC. So I call back AGAIN and spoke to rep id # XXXX, explained this is my 3RD CALL attempting to make this payment and she took the payment with NO FEE. This company is making it impossible for me to pay without more FEES/bouncing place to place. Inconsistencies throughout the company. Are n't they being fined for over charging fees already? Unfair practices, one person charge fee other person is not. Discrimination Make you jump through hoops to pay.

Complaint: Wells Fargo was hit again with XXXX in fraud accounts again. I received in the mail on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX a letter from Wells Fargo letting me know about my new account with them. I have attached the pages from the letter for you. I called Wells Fargo three times once on the 26th to tell them that is not me and they told me it is a fraud account. The fraud dept. will contact you on Monday. I called again on Tuesday because they did not call me on Monday and again I was told they are in the process and will contact you on Wednesday. I called Wells Fargo again on Thursday XXXX/XXXX/XXXX still not heard from anyone at the bank. Again Wells Fargo said sorry that they will contact me end of week. The first time I called they gave me a case number # XXXX. I am getting the run around with Wells Fargo and I believe because they are the one 's who opened up this account.

Complaint: We purchased a car from XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX and received the loan from Wells Fargo. In early XX/XX/XXXX We received a letter from Wells Fargo Auto Finance stating that they are changing our bank loan and that it would have a different name, and would not affect our loan in anyway and that we did n't have to do anything. So we had no reason to be alerted because it was who had our loan. When our payment book was on its last payment in the book we were so excited, but when the payment was taken out each month after for some time I started asking questions. I cant remember exactly the date we paid it off, but in XX/XX/XXXX we went to buy our house and in going through the process we found out our credit report showed that we had refinanced our XXXX XXXX car loan when we had not. I called the company and the woman said I needed to file a complaint and to send it to a fax number she gave me. I did so but the fax number was a none working number. I continued to call and each time I did they 'd give me the number and each time same thing. We do not understand why we had to pay an extra year of payments or how we refinanced a car loan with out our knowledge or signature 's. Because of Wells Fargo doing this it dropped my credit score from a XXXX to a XXXX and cause so much hassle trying to get our home. XXXX XXXX XXXX

Complaint: The account balance owed with Wells Fargo was {$7000.00}. I called Wells Fargo to get th balance paid to improve my credit report and they gave me the contact information for lawyer office that had my account. I reached out and spoke with XXXX XXXX about setting up an agreement to pay the balance. He told me that I had no choice but to pay a high amount for the payment plan. I kept advising him that I could only pay {$120.00} per month. After months of him telling me that he would have to see is Wells Fargo would agree with the amount for monthly installments, he finally said that Wells Fargo approved my request to pay {$120.00} per month. When I would call Wells Fargo, they would tell me they no longer had my account. However, XXXX XXXX makes it seems as if the account has to be approved by Wells Fargo for payment agreement. He advised that I was not allowed to mae any payments until the agreement had been sent to me in the mail and signed and returned to him. It took over two months for the agreement to arrive to my home after calling XXXX XXXX to ask about the status, he said he would resend it. The agreement was made to pay {$120.00} per month with the first check processed on XX/XX/XXXX. I had paid {$120.00} every month thereafter. I had missed the payments in XXXX and XXXX then sent a {$250.00} check to the company on XXXX. I confirmed with the agency speaking with XXXX XXXX and he agreed to reach another payment agreement. We confirmed the payment arrangement would be {$120.00} every month moving forward on XXXX. The balance had been paid down to {$6300.00} at this point. I was served with a complaint filed from the collection agency/lawyer on XX/XX/XXXX. I asked XXXX XXXX if I could pay the {$120.00} until I receive the new agreement of payment by XXXX XXXX ( per his request ), he told me that would not be a good idea to make payments towards the balance until the letter is received and signed then returned back to him. I filed an answer with the state court to confirm the balance on XXXX to avoid judgement not disputing the debt owed. XXXX XXXX sent me an email on XXXX stating that my balance with all fees and costs will be : {$7200.00}. The principal balance on the account is {$6300.00}. The balance with fees and costs is higher than what was owed to Wells Fargo initially. The balance owed for my debt is {$6300.00}. Now I am getting this charge off reported on my credit report every month since XXXX XXXX I am a XXXX mother just trying to pay this debt off so that I can move forward. I am unable to find housing because of this chargeoff and it seems to have become a heavier load on me.

On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, we phoned and texted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ), TREC License No. XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, to schedule an appointment we contacted, due to a referral from a relative. The same day, she sent us an email with a list of properties and confirming our appointment. 2. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, we met XXXX XXXX. We informed her about the kind of property we were looking for, that our credit XXXX had pre-qualified us up to {$300000.00}, that we had funds ( sale of our property at XXXX, XXXX, ), our employment, income, debt obligations etc. We visited around 5 properties and liked the one located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX TX XXXX. Agent XXXX promised to make an offer and advised us that WE SHOULDNT BE APPLYING FOR A LOAN WITH OUR CREDIT UNION. SHE SAID THAT WE WOULD GET THE LOAN FAST IF WE USED THE SERVICES OF HIS SON XXXX XXXX AT WELLS FARGO ( THE LOAN OFFICER ). 3. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, we met XXXX XXXX at Wells Fargo located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX, XXXX ; we had a long conversation where we provided the whole picture regarding our familys finances. We informed the Loan Officer that XXXX was a permanent employee at the IRS ; and XXXX was a seasonal employee with the IRS and had a part-time job with XXXX XXXX XXXX The Loan Officer asked us to lift the credit freezes placed on our credit reports with XXXX and requested more information ( pay stubs, XXXX, copy of tax returns, bank statements, etc. ) The same day, at night, the Loan Officer emailed us a pre-approval letter. 4. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX made us sign a XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Resale ), and additional documents. XXXX XXXX was in permanent coordination with her son XXXX XXXX ( THE LOAN OFFICER ) pertaining our mortgage loan with Wells Fargo. While the mortgage loan was being processed, we paid ( under constant pressure from XXXX XXXX and her son ) for Upfront Fees of Mortgage Application, home inspection ( {$300.00} ), termite inspection ( {$92.00} ), appraisal ( {$520.00} ), credit report ( {$16.00} ), and Homebuyer Education Class class XXXX {$75.00} ). 5. The Loan Officer requested a number of documents, made us lift freezes from our credit reports ( {$200.00} XXXX, tax documents, bank statements, etc. We were contacte about hundreds times by phone, e-mail, text messages, etc. The Loan Officer made us believe that our loan was about to be approved. 6. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, the property inspection took place. The inspector determined that the house had significant issues that would be costly to repair, so we forwarded entire report to XXXX XXXX and requested an Executed Amendment ) ; however, she acted against our interests, because, despite we requested a very detailed list of repairs needed in the house ), she prepared a very poorly worded Amendment. In the end, due to XXXX XXXX actions, we lost {$2200.00} Earnest Money. We are complaining against XXXX XXXX before Texas Realtors regulators. 7. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX notified us that we had been turned down by Wells due to XXXX XXXX being a part time employee. We reminded XXXX XXXX that XXXX is a seasonal employee and has an additional part-time job. XXXX said that it would be better if we apply for a loan with a loan broker, for they have more products to offer. Next, she referred us to a private Mortgage Broker who also denied our Mortgage Loan. 8. During the whole time we were dealing with XXXX XXXX, the Loan Officer contacted us many times via e-mail and text messages. The Loan officer ( himself or thru his mother ) made us believe that paying for upfront fees, home inspection ( {$300.00} ), termite inspection ( {$92.00} ), appraisal ( {$520.00} ), credit report ( {$16.00} ), and Homebuyer Education Class ( {$75.00} ) was necessary for us to get the loan itself and a better interest rate/ term and conditions with Wells Fargo XXXX 9. As you can see, Wells Fargo has trained and ordered its Loan Officers to get from prospective Mortgage Loan clients as much money as they can. Wells Fargo made us spend our hard- earned money in all the items detailed above, just to make a profit from commissions ( appraiser, inspectors, realtor, and homebuyer education company are related to Wells Fargo ). 10. Wells Fargo Loan officer acted unprofessionally and kept us uninformed about the loan process. The main interest of the Loan officer was to make us spend money in the items above detailed. Please review copies of e-mails, transcripts of text messages to/from Loan Officer ( green ink are his texts ), and other exhibits from Mortgage application.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I was pre-approved for a mortgage refinance from Wells Fargo. They told me I needed to pay IN ADVANCE, {$540.00} for taxes and appraisal fee. I was very reluctant about paying, but they told me I could n't close without it. I wrote an email stating that " In the unlikely event that you could not close the loan, I would be owed a FULL REFUND of the amount collected. '' On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Wells Fargo charged my credit card for the amount stated. On XXXX XXXX, Wells Fargo called me and said that they are no longer approving my loan. When I asked them for the refund on the money they extorted from me, they said " Sorry, but no refunds ''. They are scamming credit worthy applicants out of their hard earned money by promising approval, taking the upfront money, then once they have collected, refusing to close. This company should not only be held responsible for refunding the money, but be criminally prosecuted for their actions. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX, unresolved # XXXX Wells Fargo account # XXXX, Wells Fargo employee, XXXX XXXX XXXX as the Research and Remediation Analyst, had been responding to my complaint with no more than just putting me off again, when he denied my request to get my named cleared on an account showing negative on my credit. He stated it will always be mine to share, I thought with your help, we could reopen this case, I have been waiting to figure out what to do next, after conversing with the court clerk, I thought I was include a copy of the divorce decree so you folks can see for yourself why I came out of my divorce thinking I had seen the last of this account. XXXX XXXX really did not seem interested in my providing any evidence, I believe his mind was made up well before he looked into my claim, if he even did, I previously sent Wells Fargo this information, some three years ago, no reaction, and XXXX XXXX told me the Fraud Dept of Wells Fargo would contact me to help move this along, it has been two weeks and no contact. In the divorce decree under Debt Allocation, Item 5 describes what my ex wife XXXX XXXX was responsible for, and sub heading D is her student loans, which apparently was the purpose of this loan, I had no idea what this loan was at the time, I just figured I was safe because of the description in heading # 7, Notice to Creditors which lists the laws in Utah pertaining to separation of Debts, XXXX XXXX was wrong, Wells Fargo needs to honor this order from Utah Courts since this is the State where this took place, please read and forward this to XXXX XXXX. I never was confronted or contacted by Wells Fargo, I had no idea about this loan until she defaulted and it came up on my credit. I think it is pretty clear that the Court and the Judge here wanted to protect me from debts I had no idea about. The Court Clerk will help me file suit against XXXX XXXX and Wells Fargo if this order is not honored, they also go further to explain if this needs a court room to decide this, Wells Fargo will not have a case and in fact will be required by Utah Law to pay a hefty settlement. All I ask is they take another look, try to understand what I am trying to say, otherwise it just costs us all time and money, and will result in Wells Fargo removing my name from the contract and eliminating my name from the negative credit report, this order trumps over the contract my Ex wife signed with them many years ago without my knowledge, this seems so simple to me, why are they making it hard, I have NO responsibility paying back this debt, and the Courts here in Utah agree. I need to hear back from them ASAP, or the Courts has ordered me to file a " Order to Show Cause '' against Wells Fargo which in the very first hearing they will have spent more than this any benefit this bad account will net them, and at the very least with this court order, they should require my Ex wife XXXX XXXX to refinance this account into her name only, Thanks again for the help, I will be waiting to hear back, Thank you XXXX XXXX
