Complaint: The Toyota Financial Services ( " TFS '' ) account existed due to a two-year lease of a XXXX XXXX XXXX. The lease ran from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXXand the car was returned promptly at the end of the lease term in XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX I was notified via mail that I had a balance of {$880.00} owed to TFS for a Disposition Fee and Excessive Wear and Use Fee.
At the time I spoke with a TFS representative regarding the Excessive Wear fees and contested some of those charges. Per our conversation it was agreed that a portion of those fees ( precisely {$440.00} ) would be waived, as they were not reflective of true wear and tear on the vehicle in question. As a result I paid {$430.00} on a check dated XX/XX/XXXX. Per TFSs representative instruction the note section of the check unequivocally states, " Amount Paid in Full Following Contestation. '' TFSs representative assured me this wording would indicate the excess charges had been reduced and I had no further balance. This check was cashed and I was informed the account was closed.
I was surprised to receive a notice of an outstanding amount of {$440.00} that has been sent to collections ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX ). I have spoken with a TFS representative ( XXXX, Agent ID : XXXX ) who referred me to XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) for further information. I refuse to call in order to discuss any debt as my previous conversation led to this matter in the first place and I prefer to conduct all dealings in writing as proof of what has transpired.
The only amount that I would be willing to settle on is zero dollars ( {$0.00} ). My attempts to resolve this matter in writing has led to an offer to settle for {$350.00}. This is outrageous since I was already assured that my previous payment of {$430.00} would fully settle the matter.

Complaint: My automobile was part of my Bankrupty ( ChXXXX ) and was paid in full ( BK claim scheduled - {$26000.00} ; Claim asserted {$26000.00} ; Principal paid {$26000.00} ; Int. Paid {$3700.00} ; my case was completed on XX/XX/2017. I have the paperwork from the trustee confirming dates and payments to all creditors, showing paid in full ( including Toyota Motor Credit ). I am now trying to repair my credit and begin anew. Toyota Motor Credit was reporting me as late and again, it was all paid in my BK. They were calling me to collect payment and I explained the situation, they refuse to listen telling me and continue to tell me I owe them {$700.00}. I have uploaded my documents to them, via their website and have spoken to several representatives. I even referred them to my BK attorney and they have been useless in removing the debt that I DO NOT owe. I am at my wits end as they said if I don't pay, they will show as " charge off '' and it will affect my credit that I have been trying to rebuild after my divorce. My BK paperwork should be enough for them to see what I am explaining to them is accurate and release my title to me and remove the balance they state I owe - as again, it was paid in full ( per BK courts paperwork ). This whole process has been very frustrating and to top it off they started calling me everyday to collect - harassment. I finally told them to stop calling me and to contact my attorney or the BK courts. Please help!

Unable to receive car title or other problem after the loan is paid off
Complaint: I purchased my vehicle at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and financed my car with them. I paid of my car on XX/XX/XXXX. I never received the title to my car. Toyota Financial Services told me to go to the DMV and get my title. They told me to do this and I went 3 times to get my Pink Slip. XXXX with Toyota Financial said she has made numerous calls and still can't get it. DMV in XXXX said that XXXX XXXX XXXX has the title and they are the ones that need to release the lien. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and they said they would have the lien released. Never got it. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX said she would sent an email to the collateral dept to get the release of lien. Never got it. I called today XX/XX/XXXX and now XXXX XXXX XXXX said they don't have any records. I need your help!

Complaint: I have disputed Toyota financial off of my credit report multiple times and they still have not taken it off. It has almost been on my credit for seven years and the amount due is not correct. I have spoken with the IRS and toyota filed a XXXX for in the amount of {$3000.00} back in XXXX which is a cancellation of debt which by law means the debt is forgiven. i wa=ant this removed, it is affecting my ability to buy another house, or get a car in my name. I spoke with XXXX ID # SIXW over at toyota who claims there was no form filed with the IRS, but when i speak to them they said it was filed back in XX/XX/XXXX and are mailing me proof of this XXXX form as well.

Complaint: Toyota Financial Services for years did not report this loan for my 2012 XXXX to any of the credit agencies. It took the CFPB, XXXX and a certified letter to the office of the president of TFS to fix. Finally, the item got reported and all the payment history but did not have an impact on the score as that's not the way credit aging works. Check CFPB reports and notes on the account.
The issue I'm faced with at the moment. I just setup bill payment on the account. The information was off by 1 digit on the account number. I re-submitted my payment via my bank 's bill payment system. The payment was accepted and posted to my Toyota account however 2 days after the due date. Now I've been marked with a 30-day late payment that shouldn't have occurred.

Complaint: I recently received a XXXX from Toyota. I am trying to figure out what this is in regards to. I spoke with my tax advisor and he said to call the number on the XXXX. I did this but the woman on the phone was not able to provide me too much information. She said this was for money I owed for a car I had owned. I was a little confused. I do not believe I had owed Toyota any money. I have had Toyotas in the past but i have had loans and paid them as agreed and paid them off. When I asked my tax advisor he said there would have to be some identifiable event that would have caused this XXXX to be issued. On the phone there is no explanation of the event but i was to the account was charged off XX/XX/XXXX But I havent dealt with Toyota in a few years since I paid off my XXXX. Could you please provide me with some additional information as I really dont understand this and it is causing me issues in filing my taxes with the IRS? I guess I need to understand what this is for, how much it is, ( the woman on the phone at Toyota had a different amount than what was on my XXXX ). Why am I receiving this now in XXXX? ( my tax advisor said there would be some required identifiable event, what event occurred? ) How have you come up with this balance? ( again the woman on the phone said I owed over {$7000.00} ). I have not received any notices about owing Toyota money. My credit report does not show me owing Toyota any money. This is quite confusing. The XXXX was mailed to an address I havent lived at in over 15 years. Can you please provide some additional information about this, it is currently causing me to have my tax returns on extension, delaying a large refund that I am entitled to. I am pretty upset to be honest as this does not seem to be a good way to conduct business, it is distressing that even on the XXXX paperwork I was given a phone number and the woman said she didnt have any information. Please respond in a timely manner as I need to file my taxes and figure this out.

Complaint: This is yet another complaint against Toyota Motor Credit ( TMC ) for my TMC account # XXXX ( Joint account and I am the primary account holder ). TMC keeps reporting this joint account to all XXXX CRAs as a CHARGE OFF when it IS NOT. TMC lost the payment I made back on XX/XX/2017 and it took them months to locate the payment and apply it to the correct account. And in the meantime TMC reports my account as a CHARGE-OFF and it is not. Me and my cosigner have been going through this issue since XX/XX/2017 to no avail. TMC removes the charge-off when I call or file a complaint, and the next month the charge-off marker is back on my credit report thus affecting my excellent credit standing by 90-95 points drop in score.
This is crazy and unacceptable. How much more time do I spend on this issue? How many complaints do I need to file to get this information corrected permanently? How is TMC going to reimburse me for my countless hours wasted on phone calls and being transferred from one TMC and credit bureau representative and department to another, being put on hold for hours, explaining everything all over again to tens of different representatives in different departments? How much longer ... ..??? Seems like they don't know what they are doing and how ... This is sickening, this is a violation of my FCRA consumer rights. Who is accountable for this?

Complaint: TOYOTA MTR # Multiple lates retro reported which is erroneous and illegal. Before I pursue this matter using the legal system, I want the CFPB to resolve directly with Toyota. I can prove, by monthly bank statements, all payments on time. Attached is an example of my credit from XXXX XXXX reflecting before and after dispositions.
Almost a year after returning the vehicle Toyota Motor went back into my payments and reported one late payment for XX/XX/2016.
The following month they changed that XXXX reporting on the closed credit line as current and changed 3 years of history into 30/60/90 day lates.
It does not make sense how they allowed me to keep a car if I was always late.
I was able to retrieve most of my bank statements to show payments made on time. Some of the payments from early XXXX I was not able to obtain proof of them retro reporting. My bank account that I use to pay them from is closed and I have no access to prove their malpractice.
I am requesting help with this financial fraud. I would like them to either fix the retro late reporting and apologize or simply remove the credit line. They have prevented me from qualifying for a home for me and my children. I am a single mother of XXXX and they have caused me great grief and inconvenience. I don't know why they did what they did. Surely the law must have a way to protect consumers against such retro false reportings.

Complaint: I went to the Toyota car dealership on XX/XX/2018, allowed them to do my background check ; I was aware that a hard inquiry would show up on my account from Toyota credit, but next time when observed my credit report there were Six hard inquiries on the same day. I called them, and they said it is because you didn't qualify for special financing from Toyota we had to ask other banks. That was a surprise for me since it shouldn't show up as hard inquiries, I called manager of the dealership regarding this issue, and she said it is showing up on your account because you didn't purchase the vehicle. We all know it does not work like that.
