Complaint: BACK IN XXXX OF XXXX I HAD AN ACCOUNT WITH MY GIRLFRIEND AT THE TIME. SHE OVER DRAFTED THE ACCOUNT, DIDNT KNOW THIS AS I HAVENT HAD ANYTHING CONNECTED TO THAT ACCOUNT. IN XXXX I MY SELF OPENED AN ACCOUNT UP WITH TD BANK ONLINE AND EVERYTHING HAS BEEN FINE. YESTERDAY XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I WENT TO WITHDRAW A CHECK MY GRANDMOTHER HAD GIVEN ME AND TD BANK HAD ME WAIT AN HOUR TO THAN TELL ME THAT THERE WERE GOING TO HOLD MY FUNDS UNLESS I PAID XXXX DOLLARS OF THE OVER DRAFT ON THE CLOSED ACCOUNT FROM LAST YEAR. I THREW A FIT. I AM A FATHER OF XXXX AND THE MONEY IN THE ACCOUNT WAS MY RENT. THEY DID NOT WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING. DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO OFFER A PAYMENT PLAN OR NOTHING I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY THE XXXX DOLLARS. NOT ONLY DID THE BANK MANAGER LAUGH AND SAY SHE WAS TAKING MY MONEY BUT DIDNT CARE THAT IT WAS THERE MESS UP TO OPEN UP ANOTHER ACCOUNT FOR ME EVEN THOUGH I SUPPOSEDLY OWED MONEY. I THINK THIS WAS UNFAIR AND OUT RIGHT MESSED UP.

Complaint: TD bank advertises foreign currency and exchange services however the daily rate on the bank website is not honored when customers exchange currency at the bank. Upon follow up the bank has no department or customer service agents that can address such discrepancies exempt to refer back to the branch. The branch staff defer to the bank as they have a set rate in the computer they are quoted to follow and they are under no obligation to honor the exchange rate quoted on the website. I exchange {$1900.00} XXXX on XXXX for XXXX at a rate of XXXX which equals XXXX XXXX for every dollar. The official TD bank exchange rate quoted on the website on the same day and same hour was XXXX or XXXX. The difference for the total amount was XXXX in addition to the exchange fee. The market rate on the same day was XXXX to {$1.00}. TD should honor the rates on its website and should give their custody service the training and tools to address calls on this issue.

Complaint: TD Bank USA/ Target reports acct # XXXX, as a charge offb/bad debt of an amount they claim I owe of which you claim {$1100.00}. I have sent two certified letters to Target requesting validation of debt. The first certified letter was sent on XXXX/XXXX/16 and received on XXXX/XXXX/16 and the second certified letter was sent on XXXX/XXXX/16 and received on XXXX/XXXX/16. Target noted on my credit reports that I was disputing but Target failed to provide a validation of debt. Target claimed to provide a validation of debt by sending copies of old credit card bills but DID NOT provide a contract bearing my signature. No such validation of debt was ever furnished to me.

Complaint: Hello, I have had this Nordstrom credit card for year. I always pay my payment on time. One month in XXXX Nordstrom reported me 30 days late. They reported me late because Apparently I did not make the full payment so they say. I made the payment through my mobile app when i made the payment the mobile app had the amount due of {$95.00}. The {$95.00} is what was paid. Days later the app told me there was still {$98.00} due so i paid this on the XXXX of XXXX. Which still is not 30 days late. I went into Nordstrom to make a purchase and the cashier told me i could not use the card until a {$10.00} payment was made. This is when i made the payment with the cashier on the XXXX of XXXX. Once i made the payment i asked why, and she explained that i did not make a full payment and XXXX was what was not paid. I explained to her my mobile app had one amount due and logged me off then when i check days later it had another amount due. She told me to call the XXXX number to see why and make sure everything was ok with the app and she recommend me removing it and adding it back on. when i called the representative said the system may have been down, or was being fix on. Later when i made my payment for XXXX i was charged a late fee and i did not know how. I paid what my mobile app told me to pay, in a way i feel the information should be accurate. I have paid my Nordstrom bill every month on time. If i was late no one notified me? This is derogatory information hurting my credit. If i would have never went to the store i would have never known i needed to pay {$10.00}. I would like for them to remove this information because i have paid my payment each month and never skipped a month. If the payment was short {$10.00} the app is the reason and i should not be penalized because their system may have been down that day. I disputed it with Nordstrom and they sent me a letter but the information was still inaccurate it went from late in XXXX to late in XXXX. I disputed it again and it went from late in XXXX to being late in XXXX. i am writing CFPB to seek help.

Complaint: I had my pocketbook stolen from my car on XXXX XXXX. I called all my credit card co 's to report the stolen cards and cancell all my cards and bank cards. On XXXX/XXXX/2017 I received my target statement which had a {$470.00} charge on it from XXXX made in XXXX, MA at the Target store there. Target stated that because the person charging the purchased used my pin that I was liable for the fraudulent charge. Target also stated that the items purchase were not what a typical fraud charge usually purchases. Iw as instructed to write a letter with the police report case # XXXX & my 4th precinct on XXXX XXXX Police Dept 's contact which I also submitted as Detective XXXX XXXX. I have never been to the location of the charge and because my entire pocket book was taken my address book was in the pocketbook as well, in the address book and on my cell phone there is an area where I note all my PIN numbers. I need help with Target, I called to follow up today XXXX/XXXX/17 over a month after sending the information that Target requested and they told me they had no record of my letter. I sent my letter with tracking XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/2017 Tracking nUmber XXXX and Target signed for this letter and the back up on. Target received and signed for the letter on XXXX/XXXX/2017 at XXXX at teh front desk at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, PA XXXX. Please advise what should do moving forward. Complaint: I am the power of attorney for my father he opened a bank account at TD Bank a few days later I dropped off my power of attorney they said it was unacceptable and the entire account is blocked my father 's checks are bouncing and they wo n't return the money until XXXX comes in personally he is XXXX.
