Complaint: Erroneous Overdraft Fee : As per notice attached from TD Bank, at the end of XXXX, there is no overdraft since I transferred funds from my other account with TDBank. If the check had been returned, the Overdraft Fee would be valid, but the check/payment was cleared on the same day, and even their notice is showing no overdraft at the end of XX/XX/2017. XXXX never ever charge any Overdraft Fee for such scenerios.

Complaint: I had applied for a furniture loan from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX Massachusetts. They have a promotion going and I feel its a fraud when it comes to loans. Everyone that applies for a furniture loan gets denied during this promotion. I tried on my own. got denied I tried with a cosigner got denied. I had a sister try by herself who has a XXXX credit score a nd makes XXXX a year got denied. So basically their only wanting you to pay cash for the furniture during this promotion. I should have the right to opt out of the promotion and just get loan for a XXXX couch. I contacted the company and no response for the decision

Complaint: My checking account at TD Bank was overdrawn. I had XXXX transactions which totaled roughly {$30.00} ( they were small transactions ). I was charged {$35.00} for each overdraft for a total of {$280.00}. Subsequently, TD Bank removed one of the charges, so the total of the charges is {$240.00}. I called customer service and spoke with a representative and a manager. I asked if the fees could be reduced because this was excessive. The representative said that the charges were all legal, which they are. However, my point is the charges are excessive and predatory. I am a XXXX, trying to do the right thing. I work part time, ironically at XXXX XXXX Representative. I do not mind paying one overdraft fee of {$35.00}. But XXXX fees is excessive. This also happened over the course of 24 hours, so it happened very quickly.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2017 I deposit a check drawn on XXXX {$7000.00} into my TD Bank account. A few days later the funds posted and I attempted to make a withdrawal, the Teller informs me that the funds are on hold. I disputed and she investigated. The TD Bank Teller informed me that the funds had been reversed and that XXXX was not advancing the funds. I prosecuted the check writer on yesterday for bank deposit fraud. After reviewing my statement the {$7000.00} funds did post to my account but there was an unauthorized withdrawal in the same amount without my permission. Subsequently my account was closed. I want to pursue every remedy against the Bank to recover the {$7000.00} funds XXXX

Complaint: I went to Target to purchase gifts for my family in XX/XX/2016 in the original amount of approximately {$240.00}. The cashier said I could save 5 % on the current purchase if I signed up for the Target Red Card. She said it would only take a few minutes and that I would receive the red card in the mail. So I agreed, and signed up at the cash register. A few months go by, and I start receiving phone calls from Target headquarters stating that I owe them over {$300.00} in unpaid credit card charges. So I checked my mail and sure enough, the original purchase of {$240.00} was charged to the red card I had signed up for, but had not yet received. The red card had {$38.00} late payment fees and a ridiculous 23 percent interest rate. The biggest problem is that it was not made clear to me that the purchase would be immediately charged to the red card, right after I signed up, and then be charged accruing interest and late payments on purchases I was not aware were charged to the red card. I believe this was a predatory and deceitful practice, and especially heinous because it happened during the holiday season.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2017 at XXXX ET I logged onto my TD Online banking. There I received a marketing banner notification that TD 's online Transfer system had new functionality. I clicked out of the pop-up screen because I did not want to learn more or use it. I then looked at my account balances ( XXXX checking, XXXX savings and a credit card ) and noticed that the weekly transfer I have had scheduled in this system between accounts had not taken place between checking accounts. I then looked at the scheduled transfers and saw that my weekly transfer from my primary checking account to my secondary checking account no longer existed. I called TD 's customer service line at XXXX ET and was connected to CSR XXXX. I explained the situation, which she did not seem to understand the first time. I then explained it again. I also told her that I have screen shots of my system showing that I have had weekly recurring transfers between the checking accounts setup for years. I also asked for a supervisor. After going to her supervisor, she came back and told me that she could create the online transfers on their side, but they do n't show anything on their internal system that states that I EVER had weekly recurring transfers. I reinforced that I have screenshots and informed her that if I did not get a resolution, I would be going to the CFPB. I again asked for a manager. XXXX put me on a brief hold and came back with her manager, XXXX. XXXX listened again ( per TD policy, she would have reviewed the call briefly before getting on the line with me ) to my complaint ( that my automatic transfer transactions were suddenly missing, as had been happening for the past 3 months with my transfers to my credit card from this same checking account ) and then stated that they [ in the contact center ] do not have access to the same system I do therefore can only go by what their internal system tells them, which is that I have never had recurring transfers setup between checking accounts. She then offered again to setup the recurring transfer on her side, but at that point I noticed that the previously " fixed '' transfers from my checking to credit card account stated " cancelled '' in the transaction history for the one that took place on XX/XX/2017. When I looked into the account balances on XX/XX/2017, I could see the debt of the transfer amount funds from my checking account and the credit of those funds to my credit card, leading me to further believe that when they updated the new feature in their Core and online systems, as XXXX informed me they had, that it broke some intrinsic functionality in the Online Transfer product. XXXX insisted that she could only " go off of '' what she could see in her system and that she could n't see what I was talking about. She then offered to bump it up to another team that might be able to see if there was a problem, but did not offer for me to speak with them directly, either today, or at a scheduled time during the work week. She also did not provide me with a way to show her the exact screen settings I was seeing. The only course of action she insisted she had was to do the very thing I could do for myself, which was to setup the transactions again.

Complaint: I was recently denied credit for a HELOC by TD Bank and per the Free Credit Reporting Act understood I can request a copy of the credit report the bank used to make their decision. TD Bank has indicated they can not provide the requested copy and referred me to the credit report agency. In order to address any issues made evident in the credit report they received, I need to review that report as a copy received in the future may differ. Several requests have been made to no avail. However they have provided a summary document of the FCRA, but on pages 61-65 the Act addresses receipt of the documents when requested. Please let me know if you would like copies of their emails. I do n't understand why TD Bank is making this such a difficult process.
