Complaint: TD Auto received multiple payments that was debited from my account. One payment was for XXXX XX/XX/XXXX for the month of XX/XX/XXXX. The second payment was XXXX XX/XX/XXXX for the month of XX/XX/XXXX. Which I paid with my debit card. TD Auto claimed to have not received the two payments. Both payments were deducted from my bank account. TD Auto did not inform me of the issue of the company claiming to have not received payment for the month of XX/XX/XXXX and the month of XX/XX/XXXX until my XXXX billing cycle. TD Auto reported inaccurately to the credit bureau for more than 8 months. TD Auto harassed me with phone calls everyday ( sometimes more than once a day ) once the issue was brought to the companys attention. I presented two months worth of bank statements, as well as other documents that pertained to TD receiving payment from me. I presented these documents on multiple occasions showing the dates and amounts which were paid to TD Auto. And asked TD Auto to preform an investigation and repair the inaccuracies on my credit report. TD auto told me to make a payment ( which I already paid in XXXX ) and the harassment by phone would stop. And the company would give a credit in the amount of my monthly car payment of XXXX to my TD Auto account once the investigation was finished, and that I would receive a letter in the mail. I received multiple letters stating that TD Auto found inaccuracies when reporting and they would fix the issue. but the company never fixed the issue nor did the company give the credit. TD Auto has not complied at all. I reported this issue to TD Auto and the company has done nothing. I uploaded my XX/XX/XXXX TD Auto billing statement which shows that one payment was not received for XX/XX/XXXX. That payment was satisfied and resubmitted by my banking institution. That document is uploaded as well. I also uploaded my billing statement from XX/XX/XXXX which shows that the payment from XXXX was received once it was resubmitted by my bank. That should of satisfied the issue. But TD claimed that I owed them more. I presented all the documentation showing that the debt was paid.

Complaint: I hold a XXXX XXXX card and my payment is due on the XXXX of each month. On the XXXX or the XXXX when I log on to make my payment, the system is always down. It has happened 3 or 4 months in a row. After complaining I was transferred to an agent in another country. I do not feel comfortable giving my payment information to an agent in a foreign country for processing. I asked for a supervisor and the agent pretended to be a supervisor, and I later found out that the supervisors dont come in until an hour later. He tried to change his voice and threatened me with late fees if I didnt pay him. I refused and he spouted my bank account information off. I do not appreciate them allowing access to my information without my permission. When I signed up for this card the agreed upon payment methods included online self managment. Those options are not being made available to me, which is that I should be able to self manage the account online. I feel this is done intentionally to encourage incurrence of late fees.

Complaint: My Nordstrom 's XXXX Credit Card, Account # XXXX. I had some fraudulent charges on the card, timely notified Nordstrom, who issued me a Credit and a Replacement Card. Although I have a replacement card, Nordstrom 's will not activate the card until I forward them a valid State of Michigan Identification ; Social Security Card, and billing statement from another creditor. To expedite the activation, I sent all these documents plus my United States Passport to Nordstroms by next day mail, costing me over {$50.00}. They received it the next day, I tracked the package through the Postal Service but did not even look at the material to update my card for several weeks. I also went into their local store in XXXX, Michigan, met with the head of their financial service office in that store, gave her a copy of my Idnetification, Social Security Card, United States Passport, and billing statement from another creditor, XXXX XXXX. She called their main office with me present, who she could obviously identify as she has picture identification, and me present so she knew it was me, and Nordstrom continues to refuse to activate my card.

Complaint: I was calling interested XXXX phone payment system and making monthly payments. The system was misentering payment information each month and was not pulling payments. My identity was stolen and used to open checking accounts. I notified TD Bank of this in good faith with the hopes they would rectify this issue. I was not satisfied with the product and requested a return on that was approved on XX/XX/XXXX. I then shipped the items back on XX/XX/XXXX and they were all received on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX via XXXX Tracking numbers XXXX. I then started to be contacted by your firm almost on weekly bases that my account was delinquent and that you have no record of this return as it takes 60-90 days between your firm and XXXX to confirm the returns. I offered to provide proof of returns via the tracking info and return information and your representatives were very helpful and sated that they would note the account. Yet the calls continued, and I started to notice that my credit history was being affected via a delinquency on unpaid credit account. On XX/XX/XXXX i received the attached email from XXXX that a credit was issued. Yet I continued to receive bills from your firm that I still owe late fees on a returned item. I contacted your representatives and they stated that this matter was going to be resolved and that my credit history would be cleared up. My last conversation with your representative XXXX, XXXX was at XXXX EST on XX/XX/XXXX. To date my credit remains with negative/derogatory information from your firm. I believe that I have given your firm ample time to correct this condition.

Complaint: I was charged late charges that shouldn't have been charged. I have been using my bank XXXX to make monthly payments since XX/XX/XXXX and for the past 11 months, the payments got processed with no issues but in the XX/XX/XXXX payment was returned by TD Auto Finance back to XXXX for reason of " unable to apply payment '' so I was charged a late charge for XX/XX/XXXX. However TD had no issue applying the XX/XX/XXXX payment from XXXX with exactly the same information printed on their check as the XX/XX/XXXX payment so the fault of not being able to applying the payment to my account should be with TD Auto Finance. I already made payments to make up for the returned payment but TD will now want to charge me late charges. After talking with them, they will only waive the late charge of one month as they charged me late charges for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. So I still ow them {$54.00} of late charges. I feel they just want to money from consumers on late charges and in this case I made the payment and the returning of the payment shouldn't be the reason that I was charged a late charge, espeically I have been paying on time all other months since XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: -On XX/XX/XXXX ( XXXX XXXX Evening ) I made two payments to XXXX XXXX amount to {$310.00} and {$94.00} from my TD Bank XXXX Credit Card for a canopy bed ( brand : XXXX XXXX ) at their outlet. - Despite several reminders they did not deliver the goods on stipulated time. - XX/XX/XXXX ( evening ) they delivered the bed broken with a promise to fix it next day. - They refused answering my calls and on XX/XX/XXXX I filed a dispute with my credit card company- TD Bank . - Before dispute and after filing dispute I had informed XXXX XXXX to remove the damaged bed from my home as it can be hazardous and can cause an accident in case of malfunction. And that I am no longer interested in it. They refused to even acknowledge or respond to my concern. - On XX/XX/XXXX my transaction my dispute ( case number : XXXX ) was resolved and TD Bank reversed my transaction. - While on XX/XX/XXXX without my consent and informing me- the same transaction was reversed in favor of the merchant- without my knowledge. - On XX/XX/XXXX I immediately took the notice and called the dispute department. - I was told that since the furniture was still with me, and there was clause on the receipt ( that I had originally provided ) that says if I did not inform the merchant- the furniture will not be returned. - After I was asked for a rebuttal I faxed all the evidence of the calls I made within the clauses mentioned on the receipt. - Also I provided the necessary detail that it was not a portable merchandise as it require experts to dismantle and transport it back to XXXX XXXX XXXX. - Additionally I also agreed to pay for the re-transportation back to XXXX XXXX. - Finally I also asked TD Bank to provide me the supporting documents that XXXX XXXX had given them to justify my negligence of fault in the dispute. - TD Bank dispute assured me that I will get all the documents and supporting papers within a week. - After 15 days I called TD dispute department again and I was told that the documents will be sent. - Throughout XXXX and now towards the end of XXXX- I still haven't received these documents. - I also contacted online secured servers messages but to no avail. - Hereby I conclude that TD Bank has violated my consumer rights but misusing my credit line by providing undue favor to the merchant- XXXX XXXX XXXX. I entrusted my credit with this Bank through XXXX but as a matter of formality they did reverse my transaction only to pay it back to Merchant. - There was no additional evidence given by the Merchant except from what I had submitted, furthermore TD Bank failed in providing me the documents that the merchant had submitted- despite repeated reminders. Primarily, because they didn't want me to get in possession of this mishandling as I had informed them of my reporting to CFPB in case they abuse my credit line.

I contacted the bank multiple times via secure online messaging, customer service telephone and certified letter to branch location. I directed TD Bank staff members to refund all unauthorized fees, close my account and mail a check to the address listed on the account. TD Bank failed to close the account as directed and continued to bill for paper statement fees. After a third certified letter to the branch office, the bank did mail a check for the remaining account balance, but failed to close the account and only refund one of several dozen paper statement fees. Today the account remains open and TD Bank continues to bill for overdraft fees without my consent. In a letter dated XXXX XX/XX/2018 TD Bank Senior Vice President XXXX. Complaint: I received an advertisement from TD Bank for the TD Cash Visa Platinum Card, addressed to me in the mail early XX/XX/XXXX. The advertisement stated if I was approved I would have 0 % APR for 12 billing cycles on purchases and balance transfers. It also advertised unlimited cash back on dinning and grocery store purchases, and no dinging with fees like other cards. And spending {$500.00} on purchases within 90 days of opening the account can earn {$200.00} in cash back.I did the application online and was approved right away. I received the card around XX/XX/XXXX. I used the card on XX/XX/XXXX. When I received the first billing statement it stated 0 % APR on purchases.I made the first payment XX/XX/XXXX online which was due XX/XX/XXXX. I received the second billing statement for XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX, which also stated 0 % APR on purchases. Then XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, stating they made an error. They ( TD Bank ) made a printing error about the 0 % introductory rate on purchases, it's only for balance transfers. Now they state the APR for purchases is 24.24 %. I've only made purchases, no balance transfers.They advertised 0 % APR on purchases and balance transfers on the application mailed to me. It is also on the first two billing statements. This is false advertisement. I would not have applied for the card if it wasn't 0 % APR on purchases.

Complaint: This complaint is with my XXXX card with TD Bank. I was late on one payment and was charged a late fee. The payment was made and now I have been charged fees every month for about a year with the total now being {$300.00}. I called twice to discuss this but the people are very rude, and stated they are not with TD Bank and would not allow me to speak with anyone at the bank. The initial balance was under {$38.00} which is what their late fee is which I believe is illegal.
