Complaint: I 'm returning because I continue to have issues with my lender, my tracking number was XXXX In XX/XX/XXXX on my account statement shows activity for reversal payment which has not happen thus far, approximately XXXX In XX/XX/XXXX I Paid and escrow bill {$30.00} dollars, I 'm unable to denote the actual amount that went on my escrow, I have made every attempt to keep this account in good standing, Seterus is making this very difficult.XX/XX/XXXX Seterus states my payment will increase!
I can not afford a lawyer, I feel that I truly need one, hopefully someone will hear my plea and help me, My previous request for help ended very minimal and my back remain against the wall, I am asking to have my account audit to make sure my principle is as stated I 'm requesting acceptance of my deferred taxes from XXXX county [ I have the affidavit ] and the escrow account be closed, with all monies in the account go toward my principle I 'm requesting that the reversal of XXXX XXXX be applied to my account I 'm requesting that revision of my payment schedule to only include principle and interest

Complaint: After going through a long modification process with BofA, I finally got my loan modified and began making regular payments again last fall. In XXXX, I received notice that my loan would be transferred to SETERUS, INC. effective XXXX/XXXX/15. Having not received a 'welcome pkg ', I called Seterus to learn my new acct # so I could put it into my bank payment system and I made my XXXX & XXXX payments on time. Made my XXXX payment on time but did not get a statement until XXXX XXXX which said I was late and late charges were applied. That is when I checked the # I put into my bank system vs the # that was in the welcome pkg & statements : they were not the same -- -not even close enough to have been a typo on my part. I called Seterus and actually got a nice female rep who tried to help me. She could n't find any record of my payment until I gave her the # that the rep gave me back in XXXX. Then she found my payment but said it had been pulled out of the erroneous account but she did n't know where it went. She said she would do some further checking and would submit a reverse the late fee charge. Made XXXX payment on time with correct # in system but when I got my statement, it still showed me a month behind. I faxed in a detailed letter explaining the problem, the error & listing of all my transactions. On XXXX I got another late notice and charge. I called again and a nice male rep helped me. He found my letter in the computer files but it was as if no one had even read it. He told me talking to a supervisor would n't help but he looked over my letter and said he would escalate the issue to get it resolved. He asked me to submit a copy of my bank statement for XXXX showing the payment was made which I immediately did that day. XXXX payment made on time but again statement showed month behind and on XXXX received another late notice and charge. Two months gone by and issue has not been solved. Faxed another letter today to Seterus and filed complaints with XXXX of XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, the XXXX Attorney General Office and XXXX.

Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX and I want to submit a claim against Seterus. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX my bankruptcy case was dismissed. Seterus sent me a letter in XXXX XXXX, XXXX before my case was dismissed which was a sign of harassment. I was advised by my attorney that once the bankruptcy was dismissed the " creditors '' would start contacting me, but Seterus never did. I decided to call them in XXXX XXXX to see what was going on and to see what my options were as to where my home would n't be compromised. The phone just rang.. Shortly after I was disconnected. This has been going on for a while. Eventually I went on the internet to send Seterus a request on getting some type of assistance to avoid foreclosure, but their address was n't on the website and it stated that they had a class action going on against them. Since I could n't get in touch with them I assumed they were either out of business or we no longer had any business. XXXX XXXX, XXXX I received a letter from Seterus ' attorney stating that my home would be going up for auction XXXX XXXX, XXXX. XXXX XXXX, XXXX I spoke to a representative of Seterus to see if I could try doing a loan modification and I also requested my original documents stating the business I have with Seterus. The following week, I called XX/XX/XXXX and the XX/XX/XXXX to see why the documents I requested were not sent to me yet. I was advised they ended up sending it to my bankruptcy lawyer after I informed them I no longer had an attorney and they specifically asked for my address to where I wanted my information mailed to which was my HOME address, not my former attorney 's address. Because of their mistake they advised that I should take off work and try to get things handled on my own time. I advised them it was a reason I needed my documents and modification application mailed to me, but it does n't seem like they were really trying to help me. I was also advised that one of my request for my original documents were denied and that they were going to send for the request again. Now, it 's no telling when I will be able to get this information mailed to me and they have my house scheduled for auction on XX/XX/XXXX. I attached recordings of me conversing with a few representatives on different days. PLEASE help me stop this auction I need my home..

Complaint: I have been trying to get a loan modification since XXXX XXXX. Half a year later they gave me a trial modification and that in XXXX of XXXX I would get the loan modification. But after making all my payments on time, they told me in XXXX I would have to re-apply again for a loan modification. Since then, they have not completing my loan modification. They continually ask for the same paper work, over and over again. Now it is XXXX of XXXX. I have not giving up, but I do n't know what to do to get this done.

Complaint: Please see initial complaint # XXXX ( As you 'll see what we were concerned about has now happened ).
I wo n't reiterate the facts stated in my initial complaint, i.e. the history of the mortgage with Seterus ( but the background is there ).
On XXXX 2016 payment of {$1200.00} was made on XXXX XXXX, 2016 ... We received a Seterus, Inc. Transaction Confirmation # XXXX via email that day ( which for some reason I ca n't seem to attach to this complaint but if needed can fax ) ... There is a 15 day grace period on this loan so a late charge is not applied until after the XXXX of the month ( as you can see on the attached statement for XXXX ) ... So we were certainly within that time frame ... They had our funds over a week before that so no late fee should have ever been applied ... It should not take a XXXX century company dealing with mortgages/monies that long to post a payment ... This is exactly what we 've read about in regards to how Seterus does business and pads their pockets.
Today, XXXX XXXX, 2016 we received XXXX letters from Seterus ... The first informing us that a late fee of {$47.00} has been applied to our account and also that the {$1200.00} that was received earlier in the month has been placed in a suspense account ... They say it 's because the XXXX payment of {$1300.00} (? ) was not paid in full ... We have no idea where the figure of {$1300.00} has come from or what the {$95.00} difference in payment amount is for ... Does it include the {$47.00} late payment referenced above?? ... If that is the case then what is the additional {$48.00} for??
Interestingly enough the XXXX letter we received from Seterus shows our scheduled XXXX 2016 payment to be {$1200.00} ( as we believe it should be ) ... So some fee ( or something ) was added to our account without any notification to us since we began making post bankruptcy payments in XXXX of this year that changed this XXXX payment ... With no notification being made to us so that we could either question the fee ( s ) or make the appropriate payment.
( Because the amount of {$48.00} is so close to their late fee of {$47.00} we 're wondering if for some reason the fee 's are XXXX assessed late fee 's ) ... However none of the payments we have made have been late and we have the documentation to back that up.
In regards to our previous complaint Seterus has made our online account available to us although we can find no answer to this query on it ... It does once again show our account as past due ... Also it should be noted that XXXX 2016 ( attached ) is the first statement we have actually received and is available to download off the Seterus website ... So if something extra was charged to us prior ( say in XXXX or XXXX ) we have no knowledge or access to that information.
And again as in our first complain the phone system is a nightmare as well as the CS agents who do n't seem to be able to answer any question as to why the XXXX payment was a different amount and what the additional fee 's encompass ... They just ask if I 'd like to make your payment now.
This is ridiculous ... Paying your mortgage should not be a guessing game or as stress related as we are finding our dealings with this company to be ... One should not have to resort to the XXXX monthly in regards to the proper accounting of their mortgage.
Help please!!
Also note on the Seterus XXXX 2016 statement there are extra charges of {$130.00} with a suspense account " offset '' of {$41.00} ( which comes close to giving us the difference in payment amounts ) but certainly is n't explained, i.e. we do n't have a clue what this is for.

Complaint: I Have tried on multiple occasions for Seterus to get there records straight as I was transferred to Seterus on XXXX XXXX XXXX it has been XXXX months and the issue is still NOT Corrected my house payment is not what they have listed as I was granted a Loan modification 3 yrs ago with my previous mortgage company everytime I call they have done nothing with the 3 times I have faxed all the documentation from the court granted my approval and stating I owe no Discrepanies, as when I filed bankruptcy 5 yrs ago all of the back pay was repaid in our Bankruptcy plan as of today I should owe nothing except my monthly payment. now they are trying to stick PMI Which was cancelled from my previous loan they need to get there stuff together as I have provided all proof on my end and I will fight it till the end they are running my credit NOT Theirs

Complaint: I have asked Seterus Inc. to grant a mortgage release or short sale for my property. They have not taken any action to move this process along in the last 17 months. I send them documents repeatedly, they do nothing with them then a representative tells me they have expired. I start the process over and over. I have sent them hundreds of pages of information. They are now proceeding with foreclosure because they are saying it is my responsibility to clear the title for the property for a loan that existed prior to me purchasing the property. I have provided them with my title insurance " hold harmless letter '' and clarified how the title company says these types of issues are resolved. Seterus refuses to act on the information I provided. Then Seterus hired the attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX that has an in-house title company named " XXXX XXXX XXXX ''. I later find out that XXXX XXXX XXXX is the company that issued the title commitment showing a loan not cleared that previously existed before I purchased the property. Because XXXX is working for Seterus I asked Seterus to communicate with XXXX and send them the hold harmless letter I obtained from my title insurance company to clear this matter. Seterus would not do it, but instead sent me a letter saying my mortgage release is denied because I ca n't clear title. I had clear title when I purchased in XXXX. I had clear title when I refinanced in XXXX. This title mistake that existed only was revealed by Seterus in XXXX XXXX. In XXXX XXXX I sent Seterus the hold harmless letter that should of squashed this. They continued to act as if they were accepting my documents and processing either the short sale or the mortgage release, but never acted to clear the title. Seterus and XXXX denied the contract offer for short sale claiming that not enough was offered. The BPO conducted did not use like kind properties as a comparison as there are no comparable in the XXXX for the neighborhood that would suggest a higher value as the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has not rebounded from the mortgage crises. It is highly disturbing that the attorney XXXX XXXX who is principal in XXXX XXXX XXXX that has sister company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is representing Seterus against me. When XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has been given the information to clear the title so that the mortgage release can proceed. Seems to me that they are interested More in making money from the foreclosure than helping me proceed with the mortgage release. It is an unbelievable situation because my title company that I have insurance through " XXXX '' stands behind me on clearing the title ; which is why they quickly issued me the hold harmless letter. But yet Seterus refuses to cooperate sending me a letter that I am responsible for clearing the title ; mortgage release denied.

Complaint: I have had a loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX for at least 10 years. No problems I sent in my mortgage on time all insurance and taxes were paid on time. They sold my loan to this new company Seterus. I NEVER received a welcome package. The only way I was advised my loan had been transfered was that my check for my mortgage was returned by XXXX XXXX XXXX with a letter with this company XXXX who is now my new lender. Well by the time my check was returned my mortgage was late. I called the number given me and a person reassured me that my loan " was n't in the computer yet '' and I would not be charged any penalties for being late. I have called them back Thursday to check what the status was. and now 2 months have gone by. I finally was able to send a check in and get an account number. Then they ask you to fill out a form on-line, so I did so. I tried to get back into the account after I was e-mailed an important message that I needed to check on the Seterus website. I logged in and it has me logged out. I called and luckily I punched the correct numbers ( the call center is just a bunch of recordings and if you punch XXXX it knocks you off the phone. ) I had been locked out of the account because I am not the account holder my deceseased husband is. Well my husband died 4 years ago, XXXX XXXX XXXX was informed of this and my mortgage was paid on time every month. I need some kind of help because they refuse to help me.
