Complaint: I am going back to my case initially applied with CFPB on XXXX/XXXX/2016. My complaint was that Seterus Inc. has been messing with my account for two years now, and they do not own up nor feel they are responsible for these mistakes where I can loose my home because of their negligence. Seterus responded to this complaint they made no mistake in paying for my County Taxes from my escrow, when in reality they did. Last year was my home Insurance and this year was my County taxes. They also confirmed in their response to you that I will not be responsible for the penalty fees incurred for paying late ( 2 months later after I called to find out why they have not made said payment. ) and as you can see by the attached letter I received yesterday XXXX XXXX, my escrow has increased and I am responsible.
Neither my taxes nor my home insurance has increased in 2016, on the contrary my taxes were decreased in 2016, how does Seterus determine to increase my escrow, and that my escrow has a deficient.?

Complaint: I have gone through the deed in lieu process fully with Seterus 3 times since XX/XX/XXXX. I have had a horrible experience working with Seterus throughout this process and each time the deed in lieu has been denied due to the bank 's lack of communication with me. XXXX XXXX was assigned to handle the deed in lieu of my property and rarely did she return my numerous calls. When I would call customer service, there was always some new document I needed to submit or some new reason as to why the deed in lieu was denied. I have done everything I was supposed to do on my end and submitted all of the necessary documents. Because communications to me from Seterus were minimal, documents for the deed in lieu constantly expired and I had to restart the process at least 3 times. At this point I am frustrated and believe that Seterus is being negligent. The customer service I have been receiving from Seterus has been subpar and my last call on XXXX XXXX, XXXX was completely unacceptable. I learned again that the documentation had expired when the deed in lieu should have gone to closing by this point. No one has been contacting me to keep me updated or to make requests for my assistance when other parties connected to the property were supposedly being unresponsive. Frustrated, I asked to speak with a manager, because at this point I want a solution. He told me I needed to resubmit documents that not one person had asked me to resubmit the entire year I had been working with Seterus. Once again, each time I call there is a new excuse. I requested that one person be able to handle my account, because it seems that there is no standard of communication, and that request was denied. The manager spent much of the call insulting me, telling me that I was " crying over spilled milk '' numerous times and lectured me on my " obligation '' to pay the loan. He was completely unconcerned about my situation and after his rudeness continued I ended the call.

Complaint: I lost almost everything after my divorce and had a had time putting my life back together But I did get things turned around and back on track I am working and making good money I can pay for my family home. I need and want to keep my home Please Help. This is all I have left the house has been in my family for years and the one place the kids can still call home I know the house needs a lot of work and is only worth XXXX of what is owed the bank today but I am willing to do the work to fix it up and pay what is needed to keep it. I also know the Bank has someone they know trying to buy it for next to nothing .Now that it not worth it and I have paid on it for years why should n't get a chance like that to help me afford to save my home Please Look into This and help Me Save My Home Before They Take It From Me.

On XXXX/XXXX/16 a call was placed to check if anything else was needed. The XXXX form needed to be updated and it was submitted the same day.
On XXXX/XXXX/16 a call was placed to check if anything else was needed. The XXXX form previously submitted had not been reviewed. " A message was sent for the documents to be reviewed. '' At this point, Seterus had a complete package.
On XXXX/XXXX/16 another call was placed to check on the status. No update and sale date still on. " A message was to the escalation department. '' On XXXX/XXXX/16 sale date still on, no update, no additional documents needed.
Should n't they at least postpone the sale date if they have a complete package? Are they going to review the package for a loan modification while they are trying to foreclose at the same time?

Complaint: On or about XXXX XXXX my roof was damaged in a storm. I contacted my insurance company they sent someone out and they agreed to replace my roof. Funds were disbursed to the lender QBE/Seterus License # XXXX approx. {$19000.00}. We selected XXXX XXXX to complete the repair because of their outstanding reputation here in XXXX, FL. QBE/ Seterus refuses to start the repair process on my roof by releasing funds to the roofer unless I can find a roofing company that will agree to sign their Contractors Conditional Waiver of Lien attached here with. I have called XXXX roofing companies here in XXXX Florida and all refuse to sign such a waiver. Seterus then told me to go hire an unlicensed contractor to do the work???? Since XXXX the roof has become more and more unstable and is now leaking down the walls of the home and the a/c unit has filled with XXXX mold and has stopped working properly. The home is becoming completely uninhabitable and the damage continues to mount. Please Help Frustrated and Furious that Fannie Mae allows servicers like this to handle their affairs.

Complaint: I want to file a complaint on Seterus regarding in saving my home. Just for Seterus allowed my home to be sold right from up under me. Here is the events that I took to save my home : On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I made every effort to comply : XXXX The process was done with the assistance of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX HUD approved XXXX XXXX XXXX.
XXXX Was told by Seterus my name was not on account as a co-borrower.
XXXX Was told to go to Probate & get fiduciary letter. When I did XXXX days later paying {$170.00} plus {$12.00} for printing. This had to be signed by my daughters.
XXXX Paperwork was submitted along with XXXX form, Taxes again with signatures and bank statements.
XXXX Follow-up with Seterus per any other documents needed they sent a new XXXX ( with check bot ) and they wanted a new XXXX award letter & retirement.
XXXX Faxed over re-requested documents ( was told will make sure F/C date was noted ).
XXXX Follow-up spoke to XXXX XXXX she assured all documents in was being escalated to push back F/C sale date. Asked that I call on XXXX for follow-up Stated the fil was in review received letter that all documents in and was being reviewed.
XXXX Follow-up with Seterus file in review I received a letter stating all documents was in and in review.
XXXX Received a letter saying that my property was sold on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I made every effort, complied with all that was asked of me WHAT HAPPENED!!! Why now was my name an issue? I was allowed to repayment plan in XXXX - again way was my home sold and I did everything in my power to comply. For the past four years I have had to deal with the loss of my husband, my health and among other things I 'm trying so hard to keep what I worked so hard for so my children can have a place to come to.
I am a XXXX year old woman with health problems I XXXX. I have been so stressed out and frustrated over this whole ordeal that I feel like there nothing else for me to do. I thought that you were supposed to help your customers not rob them from their home. I and my husband worked hard to purchase the house we would spend the rest of our lives in only for it to be snatched right from under me. I simply do n't understand that at all. What happened to nice America is it gone it is ashamed that I have had to go through this ordeal to approve or try to save my home. I feel at this point you were never was out to help me to save my home but just to sit me out doors in the streets. All I 'm asking if you could work with me on this matter of saving my home.

Complaint: Completed a loan modification with XXXX XXXX in XXXX. As part of the process XXXX started foreclosure proceedings, however completed loan modification instead. No fees for foreclosure were charged to me because XXXX chose to complete modification. In XXXX XXXX sold my loan to Seterus Inc. Seterus has been demanding that I pay a significant amount in fees and penalties. After multiple requests from me Seterus finally sent me a breakdown of these fees, showing that they are related to foreclosure procedures by XXXX. Since XXXX completed my loan modification, these fees can not be charged to me as XXXX did not charge me.

Complaint: XXXX sold my loan to Seterus effective XXXX XXXX, 2016. I was in the middle of the loan modification process at the time. Seterus has completely disregarded my account along with the modification. I have since received letters from them stating I do not qualify for the modification since my change in situation does n't seem permanent. I wonder how they know that when they have not even looked at the modification packet nor have they ever contacted me. I thought XXXX has hard to work with but Seterus seems even more incompetent. I want the loan modification packet to be considered and if that is not an option, I want to pay for a mediator to review the file, starting with the original lender XXXX, so as to bring forward the truth in lending scam that I was part of along with their mistake of processing the XXXX. I have a letter from the lender stating they misplaced records and failed to modify. However, the Courts let XXXX out of the boiling water when they allowed the bankruptcy to proceed with bailout funds.
