Problem making or receiving payments
Complaint: i wanted to make a transfer to another bank from my checking account. I was able to process the transaction on the online banking site. but did not receive confirmation of the transaction via email or text. I called the bank and I was told by multiple people to redo the wire. I re did the wire. I call the bank back. I was told that I needed to redo the wire because the limit for external wire transfers is {$1000.00}. I redid the transaction. I called the bank again and I was told that the info provided was incorrect wire limits are $ XXXX. I was also told that it can take up to 5 business days for the transaction to be executed, I asked to speak to the escalation department or a manager, she told me that the wire can take up to 3 business days. I called my bank they told me that the transaction should be immediately. multiple called to multiple people and nobody can provide accurate information.
I was also told that the transaction was a wire, then an ACH then a wire transfer, again no accurate feedback or consistency on information.
furthermore, after numerous calls I was advise to block the checking account to prevent from any withdraw funds from the account as I was instructed to execute the wire/ach 4 times.
At this time I do not have access to my checking account and fear unblocking the account since im not sure the bank has a handle on how to manage this sort of transaction

Complaint: Issue : Santander Bank thinks I owe them 2 payments ( which were paid through bankruptcy discharge ) Upon selling my loan to XXXX, payments were fraudulently applied to make loan current and now XXXX says I am one payment behind. Proof can be found by ordering a payment history on the mortgage servicers end. Negative reporting must stop immediately and my account needs to be corrected. I am not missing any payments. Late fees need to be reversed and correction of payments made. Thank you.
Facts of the issue : *Bankruptcy filed XX/XX/XXXX case number XXXX *XXXX XXXX claimed XXXX through the bankruptcy and was paid XXXX by XXXX XXXX, trustee . No late fees incur for 2 years because they know its related to bankruptcy.
*Bankruptcy discharged on XX/XX/XXXX *Mortgage Statement dated XX/XX/XXXX states I owe Santander Bank XXXX . I order payment history, and write letter after receiving it which showed me as current and never missing a payment. I demanded a review, correction and removal of negative reporting. Written request went ignored.
*Santander applies a payment to make loan current XX/XX/XXXX in order to sell the loan to XXXX . I am now incurring 2 months of late charges and am being reported as late when I am not.
They have ignored my 2 prior requests vie mail to resolve this and have also given me the runaround via telephone for 2 years.

Public record information inaccurate
Complaint: I have been denied a credit because of in accurate information on my file with XXXX XXXX XXXX agency. I disputed the info last year and they supposed to delete and or correct it however they did not. I called XXXX again today and they told me they will contact the creditors and get back to me. The status information on file shows the accounts were involved in a bankruptcy, however these account were a mortgages and a line of credit were paid in full and never were involved in any bankruptcy. I need your help here to get these derogatory information being removed from the file, since other Credit Bureau has no issue with this. I am in the process of refinancing my house again and buying a new car. Please help me here.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I made a {$560.00} cash deposit ( all $ XXXX ) in the Santander Bank ATM located on XXXX XXXX in XXXX, RI. After accepting the cash the machine flashed a quick error message ( wasn't time to write it down or take a picture ) and returned my ATM card. I immediately called the XXXX number on the back of the card ( while remaining at the ATM ) and was told there was nothing they could do but open a case. I asked that the bank manager phone me first thing in the morning to discuss. After not hearing from the bank manager ( XXXX ) the next day, I called and was told there was nothing she could do for me as it would have to wait until the ATM was settled and that occurred once a week or so and she wasn't able to provide a date as they had no set days/times. She referred me back to the number I called the day before explaining she had nothing to do with the ATMs. I called the number yet again and this time spoke to someone who appeared competent and gave conflicting information to what I had asked before. They deposited the money in the account while they performed their investigation. I received a letter on XX/XX/XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX in the mail stating the review as complete and there was no proof the error occurred and the funds were taken from my account. I immediately phoned Santander again and placed another dispute regarding this and asked how the investigation was done and didn't really get an answer to my question. I asked if they bothered to pull the video and he noted they don't typically do that but would note in my file I requested the video be reviewed. I was told it would take approximately another 48 business hours for them to issue another temporary credit. I asked that a manager phone me to discuss. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and I have not heard back from the bank and am still out the money. Any assistance you can provide on my behalf or information regarding my rights is greatly appreciated. Complaint: We had a deed in lieu of payment on a house in XX/XX/2015, the bank signed off on it.
I called the bank and found out who I need to talk to, I have called several times and have never been able to speak to XXXX XXXX at XXXX and she has not returned my calls.
The bank should show that the loan was satisfied, but it show 100 % paid off AND XXXX balance AND currently late payments ... so totally wrong, this needs to be removed from my credit report.

Complaint: The lender Santander bank every XX/XX/XXXX of each month automatically withdraw mortgage payment and escrow amount from my bank account to pay property tax. However I got a demand of payment letter from the town in XXXX asking for fiscal year 2018 property tax payment with a demand fee of {$5.00} and interest charge through XX/XX/XXXX of {$12.00}. The demand fee and interest charge ( due to late payment of property tax ) were caused by the lenders negligence, not because of my failure of payment. I contacted the lender with a call and followed up with an email on XX/XX/XXXX to resolve the issue and asked the lender to pay the demand fee and interest charge ( for late payment of property tax ). The lender did not respond or contact me at all as of today XX/XX/XXXX. I also got another letter from the town for another interest charge of {$33.00} ( due to the late payment of property tax ). I requested The lender be responsible to pay property tax on time and also be responsible for any additional cost such as interest for late payment of property tax in total of {$46.00} and the demabd fee of {$5.00}. I request full refund of XXXX

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 Santander allowed {$3400.00} to be withdrawn from my account without notifying me. Thus they were complicit with scammers in stealing. Santander have never made public the receipts of the transfer on XX/XX/2018 or the transfer deposit or {$3400.00} into my account Nor have they made public the receipt of the request to take the same amount of funds out of my account. We only have their word that the funds were place into the wrong account. it is my accusation that they did not check the original receipt to determine if the funds were put into the wrong account. nor did they contact me to ask if I was aware that the funds were expected. It stead they work around my approval to remove the funds nor did they verify that the funds were in fact went into an account not requested.
I expect that Santander make all documentation public and a copy given to CFPB and to me. I was expecting the funds to be deposited into my account and i gave my account numbers and Bank address ( XXXX XXXX ) and the name on the account so the funds could be deposited. I was unaware that this was a ploy to steal the funds ( reducing my savings ) By allowing this to occur without notifying the account holder or to checking the receipts the bank is allowing a back door for scammers and thieves to remove funds in a fraudulent manner
