Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, XXXX my wife and I closed on a VA home mortgage. When we closed we were informed by the closing attorney that our property taxes are being establish based on a normal tax year. Our initial escrow payment, paid at closing, was {$1000.00} for home owners insurance and {$2500.00} for one year of property taxes. Our home was a new construction loan, so at the time the taxes were accessed the lot was vacant. We were informed this was a possibility by our closing attorney. The XXXX property tax bill was {$610.00} and is due XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Our home owners insurance was paid in full for one year on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, which left the {$2500.00} for XXXX property taxes. When I received the property tax bill I called the loan originator and was informed that the loan was sold to Round Point Mortgage Servicing Corporation and would be effective XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I called to speak with them and was informed that they could not perform any action until after they have officially assumed the loan, however, the XXXX/XXXX/XXXX payment would still be due to them on that date. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I made my XXXX mortgage payment which was processed on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and increased our escrow balance to {$2800.00}. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I called and asked how to handle this, and was informed by RPMS that they would complete an escrow analysis on the account and issue a refund check in the estimated amount of {$2100.00}. I also informed them that I received a {$610.00} property tax bill for XXXX and they confirmed that they had received the same amount. I was also informed that they planed to pay the tax bill in XXXX, which is 3 months past the due date. I was told the escrow analysis would be performed on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and to call back at the end of the week to see if it was run earlier. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I called RPMS to receive the results of the escrow analysis that was scheduled to run on the XXXX. I was then informed that it was not going to be run until later that day and to check back in later. Later in the day on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I called to see if the analysis was complete. I was then informed that on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX the escrow department decided that they would not preform an escrow analysis on the account because I owed {$2500.00} in property taxes. After informing them that I was told a different story earlier in the day I was transferred to a supervisor. The supervisor then informed my that their records were accurate and dispute them I would have to request a tax audit on the account and then an escrow analysis could be run in XXXX on XXXX. I decided to call the closing attorney and see what I should do. He told me he would write a letter stating why the escrow account was established the way it was and should be enough documentation to push RPMS to run the escrow analysis. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I called RPMS back and informed them that I had reported their activity the VA Loan Center in XXXX and the closing attorney, as well as the actions taken by the attorney. I was then placed on hold for roughly 25 minutes and was transferred to a supervisor. He then told me that the escrow analysis was not necessary, however, because I was so adamant he would speak to the escrow department. I was placed on hold again for roughly 20 minutes. When the supervisor came back on the line I was told the escrow analysis was complete and a refund check would be issued in the amount of {$900.00}. I asked why the amount was so low I was told it was because my annual taxes are {$2500.00}. I informed him that that amount was not acceptable and wished to speak with someone in the escrow department and was told I could not. I then informed him that the XXXX taxes are only {$610.00} and the insurance premium was already paid in full. I was then told there was nothing more he or RPMS could do. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I received a letter in the mail with a refund check in the amount of {$900.00}.

Complaint: My mortgage was " sold '' to another lender in XXXX. I 've asked on numerous occasions to please provide a copy of the deed, note, and other documentation ; however, they can not provide evidence or supporting documentation that they even own the property. They can not provide any supporting documentation and do not have any paperwork pertaining to my mortgage ( note, deed, etc. ). I need these documents for legal purposes, my final will and testament, and to prepare to sell my home ; however, the lender ca n't provide them to me.

Complaint: Round Pointe Mortgage sold our Mortgage to XXXX Mortgage, and did not notify us. All payments submitted to Round Point have not been transferred to XXXX Mortgage, nor have they been returned to us. This is the 3rd time the mortgage has passed different hands within the last 12 months. The 2nd XXXX mortgage companies did not have my telephone number, nor did they have the correct address.
Mortgage Payments were sent to Round Point, for the months of : XXXX ( Forwarded to XXXX ) XXXX ( Forwarded to XXXX ) XXXX ( Not forwarded, and not returned to borrow, and not rejected ) XXXX ( Rejected by Round Point ) XXXX, the first lender, had sent us notification that our mortgage would be changing hands to Round Point, to the correct mailing address. However, later no correspondence was received from Round Point or XXXX Mortgage.
We found out of this change, after our payment was rejected by Round Point, and I viewed my credit report to find XXXX Mortgage. Round Point is now claiming they do not have our payment for the month of XXXX, however, we have bank transaction records stating the XXXX payment was accepted by Round Point, and never returned back to us.

Complaint: Roundpoint Mortgage is undoubtedly prolonging my PMI termination request by three extra months as they supposedly conduct an investigation to my original request to them for termination. This appears to me again as an attempt to unjustifiably collect as much profit from a responsible mortgage payer as myself who has never been late or defaulted on any mortgage payments in over 20 years of home ownership with a XXXX plus credit score and a home that well surpasses the original 80 % LTV in todays market for this area

Complaint: Our mortgage was sold to XXXX Mortgage servicing. We sold our old home.The first week of XXXX I contacted them to " recast '' my mortgage. I placed many calls, and was given an astonishing amount of bad information, no action was done, and they would not return my calls.
Finally, after realizing they would not communicate or cooperate with me, I decided to simply pay off the mortgage.
I have paid off mortgages, so getting the payoff amount is a simple process. I paid the principal because they would not give me a payoff amount. They will not give me any interest not covered, or any information about my escrow account.
We are now in the XXXX month of trying to take care of business. This neglect would not happen if they were trying to do a legitimate business. A real business solves problems, and takes care of basic processes.
I therefore suspect that they do things they way they are doing because it obviously suits their interest.
This makes me suspect fraudulent business practice. I can think of no other explanation.

Complaint: In XXXX 2016, I filed for a modification. My single point of contact was XXXX XXXX. Once all of my documents were received and processed, I was told that my modification worked on a 3 month trial run and that I had to make those 3 months on time and then it would go permanent. I was also told that my 1st payment was n't due until XXXX XXXX. That left me open for XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX. I asked XXXX XXXX several times on more than one occasion and another rep that I called in and spoke with about those XXXX in between payments. My question to them was did I have to make those payments and with me missing those payments would that be reported to the credit union as late since I 'm doing a modification. I was told by XXXX XXXX and another rep, that what happens is once your modification goes permanent, they would go back and update the months from XX/XX/XXXX to reflect current. I am now trying to get a loan to update some things around my house and the credit bureaus are showing me as 6 months late. I have not been late, as a matter of fact, my mortgage is paid before the XXXX of the month. I 've since then ( in the last 2 weeks ) have been calling Roundpoint and getting the run around and also being told there 's nothing they can do because I was misinformed. How dare they! So now, I 'm being penalized because you have people misrepresenting your company. I told them several times, if they documented my account they can go back and listen to all of the recordings to see what I was told. My sister cosigned for me on my loan there 's no way I would mess up her credit along with mine. Now they do n't want to correct what they 've messed up. I can show bank statements where my note has been paid on time and if they can produce the calls you will clearly hear them tell me that they will go back to update that information. This is bad business and they act as if it 's not an issue for them.

Complaint: I had a hail claim in which I had to mail the check to get a signature from Roundpoint Morgage, I sent by priority mail on XXXX/XXXX/16. After a week I called Roundpoint and they told me that they needed more information. They did not call me, I had to call them to find out that they needed more information endorse the check. I gave Roundpoint authorization to speak to both XXXX XXXX and XXXX. On XXXX XXXX, they told me again that they neede/d more information. However I have been told by XXXX and XXXX that Roundpoin/t refused to speak with either company. I got Roundpoint on the phone with XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/16 and information was sent to Roundpoint. They said they would mail the check for {$10000.00}. I asked them to overnight the check and the representative said he spoke with his supervisor and said they would. On XXXX/XXXX/16 I called because no check came in. Roundpoint had no record of the conversation we had the day before! I have asked them by what authority do they have to even hold such a check up and they have refused to provide me with any documentation to such an agreement. At this point I have an upset roofer who is threatening me with late charges and a mortgage company who does who refuses to speak with the XXXX or XXXX, even though I have given them the phone number of my agent at XXXX, then can not even find the record where I had XXXX on the phone, all Information they requested was sent to them and they promised to overnight the check! In short, Roundpoint is incompetent. Mortgage property address is XXXX XXXX not my mailing address.

Complaint: XXXX Montana got hit by a hailstorm in XXXX 2016, my insurance company ( the XXXX ) sent their adjuster out, on XXXX XXXX I received checks number XXXX in the amount of {$530.00} and number XXXX in the amount of XXXX, total XXXX at that time, XXXX XXXX 2016 the total owed to Roundpoint Mortgage was {$9200.00}. The checks were made to myself and Roundpoint Mortgage thus needing Roundpoint to endorse the checks so I could proceed with repairs to my home.
Roundpoint stated they needed me to get contractors estimates and send them in with the checks for endorsement. In a phone conversation with Roundpoint I explained that this was the XXXX hailstorm in XXXX Montana in the last 4 years and that contractors or so busy that they are not writing estimates without charging for their time. Given the low balance owed that I felt that the XXXX adjustors itemized list should be sufficient. I based this on the fact the 2 years ago I received hail damage in excess of {$20000.00}, and owed almost {$30000.00} on the loan, Roundpoint at that time accepted the adjustors estimate, endorsed the checks and sent them back. The person said they check with a supervisor and agreed and said to send in the check and the adjustors list. These were mailed on XXXX/XXXX/2016.
Roundpoint cashed both checks on XXXX XXXX 2016 ( confirmed by the XXXX Insurance on XXXX XXXX 2016 ) and sent a letter stating I would need the estimate/invoice for repairs to issue the funds to me.
On XXXX XXXX I emailed Roundpoint " lossdraft '' ( confirmed on Monday XXXX XXXX 2016 at XXXX ) authorizing them to use the funds to pay off the mortgage, reconfirming the amount of {$9200.00} and send me the balance of {$5000.00}.
I was told XXXX that the check would go out by the end of the week.
On XXXX XXXX 2016 I contacted Roundpoint as no check had arrived, I spoke with a supervisor " XXXX # XXXX '' laid out the entire issue, she told me that the mortgage had not been paid off, that nothing had been done with my email. She researched the matter and found all the notes and communications, and acknowledged they had not followed through and she would make sure everything was done and a check would be issued.
XXXX XXXX 2016, no check yet, contacted XXXX XXXX # XXXX again, she told me that they were not able to issue a check as they had to wait for the funds to clear, after a lengthy discussion the assured me a check for {$5000.00} would be mailed no later that Friday XXXX XXXX.
XXXX XXXX, still no check, called XXXX, now they say the mortgage was paid off on XXXX XXXX, but no check can be issued until after XXXX XXXX as they are " waiting for funds to clear ''? Really?
At this time Round point has noit followed through with anything they said they would do in a timely fashion and have been sitting on my funds for 6 weeks holding up my being able to proceed with repairs to my home.
I am requesting your assistance in collection my funds plus any penalty and interest ( as Roundpoint would charge me if I made a mistake and had n't made a payment or was late ) that I should be entitled to as Roundpoint has not acted in good faith.

Complaint: My mortgage was purchased by XXXX and XXXX reassigned servicing of the mortgage to Roundpoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation. I received notice of this reassignment with letters dated XX/XX/XXXX ( from XXXX ) and XX/XX/XXXX ( from the previous mortgage holder - XXXX ). Both letters indicated the new servicer was Roundpoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation.
I have not received *any* contact from Roundpoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation regarding servicing of my loan. I have called Roundpoint twice - once on XX/XX/XXXX and once on XX/XX/XXXX. Each time they have stated the mortgage is being processed, that they are unable to accept payment until the mortgage is processed, and that I should check back in a week. I am now at XX/XX/XXXX, and my mortgage payment is due tomorrow. However, I have no servicer to send it to, since Roundpoint apparently believes they are not servicing my mortgage.
I am in a bind where I have to pay my mortgage, that I know Roundpoint needs to accept my payment, but Roundpoint is not willing to accept my payment. I ca n't pay my mortgage.

Complaint: Dear Sir or Madam : I am writing this letter to file a complaint against RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation, XXXX, NC. RoundPoint has repeatedly written me demanding mortgage payments. My original mortgage servicing company was XXXX, and since XXXX no longer sends me bills, I can only assume they have sold this account to RoundPoint.
I purchased my home in XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$91.00}, XXXX ( principal and interest ) for a 30 year mortgage. In XXXX, I bought XXXX XXXX out, and XXXX XXXX XXXX took over the loan. I refinanced in XXXX, for monthly payments of {$720.00}. To the date of this letter, I have paid {$100.00}, XXXX, which is {$13000.00} over the amount of the principal and interest owed.
RoundPoint has written me and sent fraudulent documents to support their claim : Which is that I owe them {$40.00}, XXXX. They have listed the amount of my loan incorrectly : as approximately {$120000.00} including interest. They have also sent documents alleging that I refinanced my home in XXXX ; I XXXX in XXXX. Therefore, I did not and would not have refinanced my home in XXXX.
Moreover, none of the documents they 've sent me list a payoff balance.I am sending a copy of this letter to RoundPoint.

Complaint: I lost my job on XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was unemployed with a few jobs in between for over two years. The first year I borrowed money from my parents to pay the mortgage but XX/XX/XXXX I could n't anymore. So I started not to pay and applied for a modification After all this time, I was just notified two days ago that I was declined for every option of the loan modification. My wife who is n't on the loan her income is XXXX a month, and mine is now XXXX a month, I got a job since. They told me that my only option is to come up with the XXXX that I owe in back payments or I can do a died in Lieu, a chapter XXXX a short sale or they will foreclose. As far as I know there has n't been foreclosure date set as of yet. I do n't want to lose my house. I have XXXX kids and it would really not be a good issue. They wo n't do a principal forbearance for me either. I would like to get a principal forbearance so that I can keep my house. They are n't very helpful or responsive. They have been the worst to deal with. It seems like they would rather foreclose then assist us in fixing the issue so we can keep our house. I am hoping that you can assist in getting this done. I really ca n't afford any more losses in my life and this would be devastating. Having a lender that is n't willing to help find an option is really hard.

Complaint: My mortgage was transferred to a different lender, who collect my payments such principal interest, and homeowners. As soon as we got a letter from that company we decided to paid our own insurance and cancel the scrow account. That was in XXXX 2016. They has been given us the round around. First we got to proof we were paying insurance and my husband is tax exempt, which we already done that and not luck. Please help
