Complaint: I am a home owner in North Carolina and my rights to privacy have been broken by RoundPoint Mortgage service. They called my place of employment and gave out my mortgage payment information to my co-worker which is a direct violation of the law. They have also been reporting to the credit bureaus inaccurately that I am behind on which I never have been. I have sent them documentation to prove then wrong and they refuse to make the correct changes to my report. I have never in 15 years of owning a home been late on my mortgage and now that I have been dealing with RoundPoint Mortgage the past year, they have gravely embarrassed me by giving out my private information and continue to report to all XXXX credit bureaus inaccurately. I have tried countless times to speak with management their but they refuse to contact me back. Only until XX/XX/2016 I contacted XXXX who owns the rights to my mortgage did they finally say they would handle the situation. I do not believe they will.

Complaint: Roundpoint mortgage managed property taxes collected at my XXXX XXXX 2016 closing and were advised a Veterans ' property tax waiver was awaiting the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX approval. The requested approval documentation was provided Roundpoint so the escrow analysis could begin. Weeks passed but no analysis was done. Per GH Twp, Roundpoint paid the summer taxes XXXX XXXX, 2016 instead of returning the funds to me, per the law. The emails I have demonstrate the lack of cooperation I 've received which included their designated ombudsman. I want Roundpoin to refund the property taxes they managed, returned to me ; I should not penalized ( XXXX60 day for return of funds ) for their errors, these funds should come from Rounpoint directly ... they can wait for the return.

Complaint: We closed on our house in NJ on XXXX/XXXX/2016 and we are still waiting for our escrow check. Since the XXXX or XXXX of XXXX we have been calling them every week, and we get a different story about the check every time we call. Since out first call in XXXX to this day XXXX XXXX, They have supposedly sent out XXXX checks due to us not receiving the first, the second and the third check. They also told us they were going to do an investigation on the first check we never received to see if it had been cashed. And of course when we inquired about it they told us it was internal information and that they could not tell us what happened to the check. Now there saying that it is the Us post that keeps losing the checks, however they could not present any real truth to this as they were not able to give us a tracking number for these checks. Regardless, if this was the case would they not be willing to resolve this issue with the post. Complaint: I have submitted an application back in XXXX with Round Point Morgaget servicing company I have submitted all docmets that were requested. I diligently followed up each week to check the status of the application. I was informed that XXXX XXXX th that a document was missing which was a XXXX lien I then went to the local court house to obtain a copy of the satisfaction of the lienas instructed and forward it over to Roundpoint Litigation Dept. I followed up in a few days to ensure that the documents was recived. the Rep stated that the secon page was not recived I faxed it over the same day. I was then ask to giv it 24 hr for the documents to be recived and revieed by underrrighters however that there was no other documents needed. I called Round point the following week to verify the application was submitted. I was informed that no futher documents is need at this time and that the application is complete by the women repsentativ at Roundpoint, I contacted RoundPoint Mortgage serv. Last week Friday XXXX @ XXXX to check the status of the application, as I always do weekly and I was informed that the application was still under review and that there was a lien on my home from XXXX county as of XXXX 2012 the Rep stated that 's all he can see instructed me to go to the local court house, I went to the court house they informed me that there is no lien on the property and taxes are up to date. I then call the title company they affirmed the same no lien on property, I called RoundPoint back I spoke to XXXX XXXX he stated the same however he was unclear, I informed him that the title company stated that there is no Lien it is the mortgage that was sold after purchasing the property. He indicated that a releases was needed in order to move forward and to go back to the court house and obtain a copy, I asked XXXX XXXX how come I was not informed of this initially when I went to the courthouse to retrieve a copy of the Mechanics Lien I called every week to check the application status? and was informed the app was complete?? I went back to obtain the copy of the Release of Lien, I called round point spoke to XXXX XXXX at XXXX she informed me to call XXXX XXXX to see if they can release the lien since they had the loan prior and that Round Point had to be first on the Loan, I spoke to rep from there and the indicated that they would need to speak to Roundpoint, I called back XXXX XXXX gave authorization to speak to the company giving verbal consent she informed me that the application is now closed, and denied due to not receiving the release effective Friday XXXX the same day she also informed me that I am two months past due on my mortgage which is impossible because I have auto draft, I called my banking institution and they stated that my Mortgage company is at responsible for the draft because it has been set up since XXXX begging of the year, someone at Roundpoint Mortgage needs to be held accountable this is the second time that they have denied my application with prejudice. I have been more than compliant I have too choose between feeding my XXXX kids, and infant baby and paying my mortgage payments, this also the second time the removed me from auto pay without notice which ultimately made me fall behind I would like this matter to be investigated it appears that I am being targeted so that my home can go into foreclosure, I have a consistent payment history with Round point until the they remove me from auto pay XXXX XXXX stated he does not know what happened and will look into what happened on there end XXXX XXXX assured me the same that there was a glitches in there system, please look into this matter. Complaint: We received an escrow analysis statement approximately XXXX XXXX, 2016 informing us that our monthly payment will increase due to a shortage in our escrow account. Upon review of the analysis statement, Roundpoint Mortgage is attempting to double-bill us for our hazard insurance. I have called them four ( 4 ) times ( beginning XXXX XXXX ) trying to get this straightened out, and always the same answer : we will review and get back to you. No one calls. I have never received a corrected analysis. XXXX each time I call them, it is delayed again. I am not getting a straight answer even when I ask to speak to a supervisor. In fact, the second call I placed and asked for a supervisor, the man with whom I was speaking asked me WHY. We bought our home last year in XXXX. Roundpoint bought our account before our first payment was due. We set up electronic payments through Roundpoint so that they get paid on the first of each month, and we have never been late. We have not changed insurance companies. As you can see on page XXXX of the attachment, our insurance company was paid in XXXX. ( I have highlighted the pertinent information for your reference. ) Roundpoint indicates another projected payment in XXXX, which would effectively put us in the negative. A payment which was never made, nor was it owed to the insurance company. Our agent advises the insurance company received our payment in XXXX ( the {$1200.00} payment ) and never received a second payment. HAD they received the alleged {$1400.00} payment, it would have been returned to Roundpoint. The insurance was paid in full with the {$1200.00}. It is that second payment which they claim they made and took from our escrow that put us in the negative.

Complaint: My homeowner requested to be approved for a short sale on his VA mortgage XX/XX/XXXX after being laid off from his job and also recieving an offer on his property. Later that month we provided the bank Roundpoint Mtg the buyers Good Faith estimate along with a fully executed closing disclosure outlining all costs. the bank countered the buyers offer amount and also was notified in writing that the roof had to be replaced and was given a roofing bid to replace that for the buyer to be able to be financed for the property. The buyer was also requesting that his loan costs be paid at closing from the sellers proceeds. After speaking to the bank several times it looks as if everything was in place for an approval letter. In XX/XX/XXXX the bank requested updated Closing disclosure which included the buyers loan costs again. XX/XX/XXXX they removed the file stating it was not complete but had been since XX/XX/XXXX. I had to start the entire process over and provide them updated docs which i did in a timely manner. The bank stated on XXXX XXXX that they needed an Opt Out letter which they again already had since XXXX XXXX. This was not being processed correctly since i had confirmation that it was sent via email. I did resend them the Opt out Letter again. I asked that the file be escalated since we had been in this process with the same buyer since XX/XX/XXXX. On XXXX XXXX I called and was told that the bank would NOT be paying for Title insurance or the buyers loan costs. Even though they had not requested that either be removed from the last Closing disclosure requested and sent to them on XXXX XXXX. I asked that they revisit these costs as they are typical and standard costs for a short sale and they refused to have either of those costs to be included in the short sale approval. The seller has continued to make mortgage payments and has not defaulted on his loan. I believe Roundpoint mortgage is not representing the seller and is causing a " Sale Fail '' based on their own opinions of what should be approved in this short sale. The buyer can not afford to pay for a new roof and all of his closing costs and the ENTIRE Title fee 's. The buyer will already be paying for half of his own title fee 's and the bank should be paying for the sellers half of Title fee 's. This is a standard and necessary fee to obtain insured Title on the property.

Complaint: My mortgage loan was modified in XXXX XXXX. However, my servicer Roundpoint, has not reflected my loan as modified since then. I have been fighting with them now for two years and I finally hired an attorney earlier this year to help me. As you can see from the attached my loan was modified in XXXX XXXX directly by the owner of my loan. As you can also see from attached my mortgage statement for this same loan shows me due for XXXX/XXXX/XXXX back in XXXX and now XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I have no idea how they are coming up with these dates as my loan was modified and should have been brought current as of the date of my modification on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. My attorney was advised by Roundpoint that they requested me to submit another full application so they could attempt to fix this issue. My attorney submitted my full and complete application on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and to date Roundpoint has not yet issued a decision. They keep asking for more paperwork every month and then let it expire and then ask for it again. I am told by my attorney that RESPA Reg X requires the lender to make a decision within 30 days of the application REGARDLESS if it is not completely complete. My attorney has an in house underwriter that put the file together and they state the lender ( Roundpoint ) has enough information to make the decision. I am not eve sure what decision they need to make as they have ROYALLY messed up my mortgage and it is on them to fix it. # 1 ) I was modified and my servicer never reflected it in my statement # 2 ) This is not my fault and the fact that my account is now past due and really messed up is either the servicer 's fault or my investor 's fault. It DEFINITELY is not my fault. # 3 ) My servicer needs to STOP EVADING reviewing my file as my attorney is billing me for work each time Roundpoint stalls and does n't make a decision as required by RESPA Reg X. I am being financially harmed by this illegal action. In another week it will have been 5 months since I applied for assistance in fixing my servicer 's mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please make them stop running me in circles and make them FIX THEIR MESS!

Complaint: I previously filed bankruptcy and my bankruptcy has been discharged but Roundpoint has refused to speak with me about my account. I have sent in multiple request about my billing statement, my discharge, and just trying to speak with a representative. The representative states I and my wife needs to contact my lawyer and/or trustee. I feel I have been going in circles trying to obtain a simple billing statement. My lawyer submitted a letter to Roundpoint stating I can speak on behalf of my account since it was not included within my bankruptcy. Roundpoint has received my discharge paperwork.

Complaint: The purchaser of our FHA mortgage, RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation, refuses to pay our special assessment ( Front Foot Benefit Charge ) from escrow despite collecting the amount each month. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Chapter XXXX, XXXX XXXX ( D ) ( XXXX ) states clearly that special assessments are required by XXXX to be escrowed. More so, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX A ( XXXX ) ( a ) ( XXXX ) ( A ) is unequivocal when it states : " The Mortgagee must collect a monthly amount from the Borrower that will enable it to pay all escrow obligations in accordance with XXXX CFR XXXX. '' Special assessments are listed as an obligation. This item was correctly accomplished during the establishment of our escrow account by the original mortgagee, XXXX Mortgage XXXX XXXX XXXX, as noted in XXXX XXXX, for a monthly payment of {$100.00} ( for the annual assessment of {$1200.00} ) as required by para XXXX. However, the following attachments will provide the information required to show that RoundPoint Mortgage is not meeting its XXXX obligations for this government-backed mortgage. Atch XXXX is the current mortgage statement. It clearly shows a payment in accordance with XXXX XXXX. Atch XXXX is the current escrow account. Atch XXXX is our current property tax bill. Complaint: Mortgage servicer Round Point Mortgage has help my loan since XXXX XXXX when sold to them from original lender. Purchase price {$77000.00} on XXXX XXXX, XXXX with appraisal of {$96000.00} I put {$19000.00} down. I owe {$75000.00} XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Frburary XXXX my husband moved out of the residence. I stayed and continued to get payments sent. Down to XXXX income and XXXX teenage sons I called RPMS to see what options i had available since loss of significant income. I was told that there was no help available because I was current on payments. I remember thinking that was crazy, but when i talked to XXXX they confirmed that to get the help refinance on mortgage the loan needed to be 90 days past due I knew without a change it would be. I lost my job on XXXX XXXX, XXXX I worked there for XXXX yrs and it was a high stress job at the hospial. I made payments up until my savings ran out in XXXX XXXX. I applied for unemployment hardship XXXX XXXX, XXXX loss mitigation case was n't examined until XXXX XXXX, XXXX. In XXXX XXXX I was approved for a 3 month special forbearance with {$0.00} amount due expiring XXXX XXXX, XXXX balance of {$5400.00} I was still unemployed and getting a divorce. During the forbearance the payments I sent in got returned and no credit was given. I did n't receive any notice from Round Point Mortgage about what happens next and unsure about how I was going to come up with the entire past due amount I submitted another application & affidavit to get an extension. Faxed by my XXXX approved councolored on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I would be more likely to get a job after graduation I am attending College while unemployed and needed a little more time. As of today XXXX XXXX, XXXX i found out my house was sent into forecloseure on XXXX XXXX, XXXX which was a surprise because on XXXX XXXX, XXXX during another meeting between XXXX councilor and RPMS contact I was told by RoundPoint that I was not in foreclosure status because we 're still in documentation stage. I blamed that on them because I sent what was asked for and then they ask for more. Why did 've still not had my application reviewed by loss mitigation. My point of care contact would tell me to send in specific documents i did and i would get another letter saying they needed more information. Nothing change financially other than my oldest teenager had a job and I put that he lived in the home and he worked. So even after I forcefully explained I did not want to evolve my child in this issue I was told I had to send his check stubs and a letter from him that he lives with me. Of course he lives with me it 's my responsibility to take care of him until he 's old enough to move out and finished high school. He does have a daughter and pays child support but is it normal for a mortgage company to ask for children 's income?? And I was asked to get a letter from my soon to be exhusband on what he contributes financuially. My lawyer was pushing for spousal support but nothing had been court ordered. And when I did get any money there was a price I paid also. Now I have to ask him for a letter? Should I show up and his new place he got with his girlfriend? The humiliation of it all is too much. I have a XXXX councilor that 's helped put the application together and sent info requested for me while with my coucilor on XXXX XXXX, XXXX was assured by RoundPoint Mortgage that my house would not go into foreclosure because I was in documentation stage. WRONG without my knowledge a foreclosure date of XXXX XXXX, XXXX processed and I was n't aware of it for 5 weeks. I was told on the phone today and had not a clue about it being foreclosed on. I was wondering where to send my payment, because on XXXX XXXX, XXXX I got notice of contract transfer starting XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I 'm worried and uninformed. Please help me!!!

Complaint: This is in reference to a delinquency that Roundpoint reported to XXXX ; my wife and I dealt with Roundpoint in good faith and made payment on agreed-upon terms, but the company, through it 's own malfeasance or malpractice, reported the payment as 30 days late, even though their own documentation and communication recorded the payment as only 8 days later that listed on the statement provided. Roundpoint Mortgage serviced my home loan from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX, my wife and I refinanced the mortgage through XXXX XXXX. Either XXXX XXXX failed to correctly calculate the payoff amount, or Roundpoint failed to correctly calculate the payoff quote, as two weeks after closing, Roundpoint informed us that the payoff fell short. In short, Roundpoint acted in an unprofessional, chaotic, duplicitous, and bullying manner over the course of three weeks. They sent a series ( XXXX ) of inaccurate, contradictory statements, and failed to explain why XXXX statement differed from another. A representative agreed to grant a two-week extension until funds arrived in my account for payment, but Roundpoint instead set a due date as the day that we received the funds in our account, and recorded a 30-day delinquency to TransUnion when the payment arrived 8 days later through the mail. They refused to provide a written explanation of the deliquency report, and only offered a second-hand verbal explanation over the phone that the representative who granted the two-week extension had no authority to do so -- as the department that handled payments refused to communicate with me directly, their use of a customer service representative in this way was a deceitful and borderline fraudulent practice. My wife and I have never missed a payment of any kind in 25 years ; the report substantially lowered our credit rating from " XXXX '' ( XXXX ) to " XXXX '' ( XXXX ) in a matter of days. This was their error, and it substantially harms us as consumers ; Roundpoint refuses to acknowledge their error, and have refused to communicate with us in any way after receiving payment. We 've already submitted documentation through cashiering.

Complaint: We received an escrow analysis showing our payment was going up significantly. The taxes were wrong. Our local tax office updated everything to show a considerably less estimate of taxes due and we faxed to Roundpoint per their request five weeks ago. We were told it would take XXXX10 business days to receive an updated analysis and have our payments on track. It has been three weeks since this update would have been " due ''. We have spent countless afternoons on the phone with Roundpoint 's customer service trying to figure out what is going on and every time we are transferred to a new person or they keep us on hold for a very long time forcing us to give up. This last call the customer service rep laughed at me because I told her I 'm tired of waisting so much of my life on this and they told us it would be completed three weeks ago. We are a family of XXXX and can not afford the payment they calculated that is WRONG.
