Complaint: Our mortgage has been with Roundpoint Mortgage for several years and we have never missed a payment. I get repeated calls from them as " payment reminders '' even though the payment is not late. Today ( XX/XX/2016 ) I received 2 calls from Roundpoint Mortgage ( XXXX ) within 30 minutes. I have our bank account set to automatically pay the amount due prior to the due date every month. As I said, we have never missed a payment or been charged a late fee. When I spoke to the second person today she said they would continue to call me until they get the payment, like I 'm a deadbeat or something. It is total harassment.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX my husband XXXX XXXX received information that our house was set for auction on XXXX XXXX 2016 if we did not pay the past due balance. Her contacted our mortgage company RoundPoint Mortgage and was told to pay XXXX by XXXX XXXX to stop foreclosure. We issued and mail a cashier check and overnighted it to the company in the amount of XXXX they received the check on XXXX XXXX @ XXXX. the cashier check was returned to us on XXXX XXXX. post marked XXXX XXXX saying it was n't enough money. He called the company on XXXX and they apologized and could n't give us any explanation as to why the check was returned and told us to wire them the funds due to time restraint! I wired the funds yesterday at XXXX my husband called today and XXXX said that he was manually entering the funds to our account to call him back within the hour! My husband called and they said it was n't enough funds that we need XXXX then went to XXXX! XXXX would n't speak with my husband, my husband asked for a supervisor and was placed on hold for 15mins and then they told him that the supervisor would have to call him back! I have never in my life dealt with a company like this!

Complaint: Roundpoint mortgage keeps incorrectly force placing flood insurance onto my mortgage. I have already submitted evidence of flood insurance to them several times via email, fax and have contacted them. I have evidence of all of those submissions that date all the way back to XX/XX/2016. My mortgage amount is normally {$940.00} but this month they increased my auto debit without my consent and without any communication to {$1200.00}. I contacted their customer service and it turns out to be an error on their part for never accurately updating their flood records. So unfortunately I am out {$260.00} until they can get this resolved which they told me they wouldnt be able to give me an update on it until XX/XX/2016. This is extremely deceptive practice and its similar to what i experienced with XXXX XXXX XXXX. They have no right to force place that insurance when i adequately and timely submitted evidence and they also violated my reg E for adjusting my ACH without my consent and notification.

My mortgage loan closed without an escrow account. I paid my insurance policy in full at closing. Any communication between my then insurance agent and mortgage company was not communicated to me. Called mortgage company ( Roundpoint/Embrace Home Loans ) : advised that {$4000.00} was removed from escrow acct ( now in the red ) for " supplemental tax '' and that my monthly payment will be {$330.00} higher until paid back. Mortgage company unable to tell me ( with proof ) what this tax is for. Have received XXXX different answers : Call # 1 : Due in advance for impending prop tax raise for XXXX XXXX # 2 : Tax owed to town for road work Call # 3 : Back-taxes owed on my home at purchase that " sellers refused to pay '' **Called town tax office after each call above - they confirmed ALL of the above info to be NOT VALID OR ACCURATE in any way. ** Call # 4 ( supervisor ) : Agreed with call # XXXX that it is back-taxes owed ( she appeared to be purely speculating however ) I have sent them a copy of the XXXX form proving nothing was owed on my home at time of purchase and all taxes were paid up-to-date.

Complaint: We applied for and were approved for a VA cash out refinance loan. When we were almost ready to close the loan our existing mortgagee, Roundpoint Mortgage, sent us a letter dated XXXX XXXX, 2016 stating our loan was being sold to XXXX XXXX Mortgage/c/o XXXX XXXX. We signed the documents closing our loan XXXX XXXX, 2016. We received a letter about the transfer of our existing mortgage from XXXX dated XXXX XXXX, 2016 saying they were servicing our existing loan with payment information. We received our borrower 's final closing statement from XXXX Escrow dated XXXX XXXX, 2016 which showed the payoff of our loan to RoundPoint Mortgage not XXXX. Along with that document was a letter from XXXX Escrow dated XXXX XXXX, 2016 that indicated an escrow account was closed. Attached are copies of these documents. As of today, we have n't received the money we had in escrow from anyone in the amount of {$1000.00}. RoundPoint says it was transferred to XXXX XXXX. I ca n't get XXXX XXXX to talk to me as our loan number and last XXXX digits of my husband 's social do n't come up on the automated answering system. Could you please help us get paid our money that was in escrow connected to our paid off loan? Your agency helped us recently and we were very grateful for that. Complaint: I paid my XX/XX/XXXX mortgage payment of {$1000.00} to Roundpoint Mortgage on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX they withdrew {$1000.00} from my account. Then on XX/XX/XXXX they withdrew another {$1000.00} from my account without authorization. This erroneous action threw my account into serious overdraft status of a negative {$430.00} balance which includes multiple {$35.00} insufficient fund fees for each item. I contacted my b bank, but they were unable to help since both payments had already been processed. I contacted Roundpoint Mortgage customer service and was told they could do nothing and I had to PROVE that Roundpoint had made an mistake. They told me to email a copy of Roundpoint 's own email confirmation of my payment back to Roundpoint. I was not given a legitimate email address. The Customer Service XXXX told me to email their own own email confirmation of my payment to XXXX I managed to to track down a legitimate email address and sent Roundpoint a letter explaining their error, along with their own confirmation form and a copy of my bank statement showing the double withdrawals from my account which also included details of the negative amounts adding up in my bank account. Roundpoint sent bank an email acknowledging my complaint and informing me it could take up to 30 days to resolve this financial mess they created. They also told me not to contact them again which would put my complaint to the bottom of the pile and take even longer to resolve. I am in a panic because of Roundpoint. I am a senior citizen on a limited budget, and because Roundpoint emptied out my bank account, I am left with no money for food, bills, etc., and my bank account is seriously in the negative. I find their unhelpful and unresponsive attitude totally incomprehensible.

Complaint: We purchased the house, the lending company we got the loan through gave the wrong contact information to the insurance agency. They say they tried to contact my wife who was not the borrower on the loan, I was. I was never contacted about a dangerous dog form which led to them cancelling my insurance policy in XX/XX/XXXX. I never received notice from the insurance company or the mortgage company that my home insurance cancelled. The refund check for the insurance was stolen and my signature forged. The mortgage company sent me a letter in XX/XX/XXXX ( 8 months later ) saying that I had no insurance and were back dating and retroactively placing force placed on my house. my initial policy for the year was {$1100.00}. The mortgage company 's force placed policy was more than {$4000.00}. I have explained, and the insurance agency even wrote a letter describing my circumstances and asked for them to waive the insurance policy since the insurance was not used because no damage or claim was filed and they refused. the lending company, the insurance agency, and the mortgage company all three are not taking responsibility for the mishandling in the situation which caused me to incur such a huge increase in charges, and also the extremely over priced force placed policy.

Complaint: Roundpoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation services my home mortgage. When their client purchased my Mortgage, they did so without the obligation to pay the property taxes. I am responsible for property taxes. I paid the property taxes as per my duty in 2016. I then began to receive notices that they wanted to me additionally pay into escrow with them. When I inquired about this, they stated that they had also paid the property taxes on my behalf. I asked them to correct this issue and not to bill me for unpaid escrow money. They stated that they could not correct the bill until they had received the overpaid taxes from the municipality. Given that the error was administrative on their part, I asked them again not bill this directly to me. They claimed that they would work this out on their end. Despite several conversations with customer service I have received bills including late fees and collections notices which I feel are harassment, given that the original issue was an administrative error on their part. I continue to receive these notices and would like them to correct the error.

Complaint: For the past 8 months we have been struggling with roundpoint servicing regarding an escrow issue The servicing was transferred to them from another lender. They refuse to correct a flood insurance escrow placement, when we have had and have shown numerous times that we have flood insurance on this property. We have spent countless hours in phone calls that lead nowhere or with someone who states there going to correct it and send us a corrected analysis but when it comes in the mail it is wrong. They are charging us for flood insurance when we have satisfactory proof of coverage there has never been a laps or gap ... iwhen the transfer happened to their company is when we have had nothing but problems! We get the runaround one department dosent know what the other is doing, or it takes 60 days to make a correction, which is a direct violation of TILA AND MAP regulations. But to date NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED. I beg for assistance. Every three weeks we go through a routine of calling being placed in hold for 30 min at a time after being placed there from a representative ... .. we need help.
