Complaint: COLLECTIONS {$2100.00} Reported balance PORTFOLIO RECOVERY {$2100.00} This account was in bankruptcy and closed out by XXXX. Once I came out of bankruptcy this is the only account that came after me reopening the account saying it was just opened. had phone calls with Reps at this company and was informed it was paid in full, when I asked for documentation and they sent the email ( not sure I still have ) that the account was paid it full ... they then came back and said oh, no we made a mistake it was a different account that was paid in full. I contacted them multiple times, asked that it be removed after I was told it was removed and paid in full. It is showing paid in full and closed with other reporting agencies. then they told me it was the wrong account that they told me was paid in full and kept it on the report. I also advised that I owe the IRS first with a tax lien of over {$20000.00} and am on a modified payment with them based on income. I have no money to pay that bill before I die, as the IRS has first shot at their money. Why is the account showing paid in full on other reporting agencies and they are keeping it open on some. Again it was in bankruptcy, they had the chance to appear in Bankruptcy court and stake their claim ( XXXX ) they did not and so account was closed. Portfolio reopened the account and said it was then opened after the fact which is a lie.

The company is Portfolio Recovery Services Reference # XXXX I have offered three times to pay the via an offer in compromise and a deletion from my report which is a common practice with this agency. I need help. The last payment of the original debt was in XXXX of XXXX. This company keeps re-aging the debt. The debt was originally purchased in XXXX of XXXX, when I inquired about the debt it was re-aged to XXXX of XXXX. I inquired again and it has been re-aged to XXXX of XXXX. I want this corrected on all three credit reporting agencies and I want it paid and deleted just like they do for everyone else. I have made three offers. Collection calls from Portfolio Recovery services began in XXXX of XXXX and accompanied a letter just like this attached one dated XXXX of XXXX. Help. me. please. Thank you.

Complaint: This company calls from a different number each time. 7 days a week XXXX times a day. I have nothing on my credit report for this company so there is no known debt nor have I received anything in writing from them. When I called to tell Them a complaint was going to be filed for their ridiculous amount of phone calls the lady refused to remove my number ( which clearly I never consented to them calling ) without obtaining personal information which I refused. This is XXXX single day for at least XXXX months. Blocking the number doesnt work as they just use another to call several hours later.

Complaint: I get repeated calls from portfolio recovery for an electric bill ( XXXX XXXX i guess but I am unable to get an account # ) utility bill that I had that is from well over 10 yrs old ( XXXX ). They call over and over all day long I block the number they call from a different one. And the send me mail all the time. It just will not stop. They also keep calling a XXXX XXXX account from ( XXXX ) Both of these accounts were from a prior marriage and when we separated I left the home and left the electric on and cut my card up.

Complaint: These people from "Portfolio Collections" call me multiple times a day and some late at night. One just called me at XXXX. I have repeatedly told them to stop contacting me because they not only will not say what the debt is for but they also will only keep asking for personal information. When I tell them to stop calling me they yell at me and get hostile. I have told them now twice if they call me again I am getting my attorney involved and they start yelling at me. They call at different numbers each time. I don't know what else to do. Please make these calls stop.
