Complaint: There are errors in my credit report with the dates. They continue to change the dates on accounts from portfolio recovery, which I never had any debt with. I filed a dispute and the result was that dispute resolved, customer disagrees. Yet the dates are still incorrect. I was told the best thing to do is to file a claim with FCRA attorney against the FICO agency. Some of these accounts might be passed the 7 yrs and thats why they continue to update the dates.

Complaint: Since XX/XX/2019 I have received countless spam and harassing calls from Portfolio Recovery. Theyve called me with fake numbers using my area code, leaving voicemails with loud clicks/hangups, leaving messages that I will be federally prosecuted if I dont make a payment, and so forth. Before, it was to the point where they would call 3 or more times a day before, during and after XXXX. As of now theyre spam calling me Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and occasionally some Sundays. Every few days I have to temporarily deactivate my voicemail to put a stop to this nonsense from Portfolio Recovery. In total Ive had to block about 300+ of Portfolio Recovery fake numbers. I dont know who these people are as theyve never left a detailed description of what debt I owe, an account number, or the company theyre representing on behalf of the debt.

After I had told her I had a lawyer and was filing bankruptcy she began to ask more questions, I told her my lawyer would handle it, and she still kept asking questions so I just hung up. But They called before XXXX on a Sunday, and from what I understand that its against the law to be called before XXXX or after XXXX on a Sunday. Complaint: I have made several formal written request to Portfolio Recovery regarding two collection accounts that can not be validated. They are in the amounts of {$1200.00} and {$600.00}. the original creditors are XXXX XXXX and XXXXXXXX XXXX. My last dispute was in XXXX of 2018. They have not been able to provide me with any type of signed document from the original creditors showing that I owe this dept. This is required under the FCRA 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) and 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ). Also they are still reporting every month to my credit report witch under the 611 ( 5 ) ( A ) states that if they cant provide me this information they must Promptly Delete It. Problem with personal statement of dispute
Complaint: I submitted disputes to XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and Portfolio Recovery Associates asking for verification of creditors that were reporting on in credit file. I sent the request via certified mail with a return receipt. This was mailed XX/XX/2019. I had already been received a negative rating because of the various creditors before my dispute. But, after the supposed investigations from XXXX, were completed, my scores received additional negative ratings. This in my opinion is like being charged twice for an item that I had previously been charged. In some instances, my scores went down by as much as seventy ( 70 ) points. That not right or fair to me the consumer. There as also creditors reporting the same item on my creditors report twice. Thats a double hit to my credit. The creditors are also re- aging items that are in the dispute. This should not be allowed. Also, I had a XXXX balance on my two credit cards, but it took the credit agencys least two or more months to reflect that on my credit file. Some still have not updated that information. When the information is not updated in a timely manner, it causes my credit score to remain low and not reflect the true score. Also, I told these same agencies that some of the information is stated as a credit card or a personal loan when in fact the item in question is neither of those things. Again, it causes my scores to be inaccurate. Also, in XXXX XXXX account makes it as though i closed seven accounts but in actuality my XXXX account was never closed. I added to my account but they make it seems as though I have several closed accounts and this is causing my scores with the three credit agencies to be incorrect. Even the balance of the accounts on my credit file are not reporting as accurate and I have brought this to the attention of the agencies to no avail. Im a veteran who suffers from XXXX and this is causing me even more undue stress and anxiety because the agencies and companies are failing to follow the rules that are set forth by CFPB. I need help.
