You were sent copies of an identity-theft report filed with the federal trade commission along with an sworn identity-theft affidavit from all three credit bureaus. Unfortunately, these debts are still being reported on my credit reports. Having debts reported that I am not responsible for shall be deem as defamation of character and considered inaccurately reporting debts to consumer reporting agency 's. With that being said, you are in violation of the FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT and FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT. Continuously, having debts reported that I DO NOT OWE is a misrepresentation of my true creditworthiness. I have called several times and have still not received a statement from them. I see on the report that the original creditor is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I never received a bill or statement from them. I have done an internet search and can not find the correct company with my file. Online information services is not licensed to collect in my state.

This was paid back in XXXX, to this date Online service in XXXX says they have removed this from my reports nor has the balance showed XXXX when it has been paid. I feel this should be removed as it was not my fault and was delayed by the insurance company being paid. No one seems to help me. I have talked to several people today I have talked to a lady by the name of XXXX. She said it was paid and she sees where it has been removed but it is still on there. Complaint: I received a call from Online Information Services sometime in XXXX about an outstanding medical bill that was referred to their collection agency. I advised the representative that I was not aware of any medical balances as I had medical insurance. The representative advised that the amount would go on my credit report if I did not pay it immediately therefore I made an immediate payment arrangement to prevent any negative credit reporting. However, after noticing repeated credit denials over the past year, I checked my credit profile and noticed that Online Information Services had in fact reported the negative collection account. Not only did they report the account, they were also reporting it on my credit profile as 2 separate accounts. As I researched the account information, I again became concerned that I did not recognize the account. I contacted Online Information Services via certified mail dated XX/XX/XXXX, requesting that the company verify the 2 accounts. They responded to my initial correspondence on XX/XX/XXXX without adequate verification. I subsequently sent Online Information Services a second letter again requesting verification. They again responded on XX/XX/XXXX without adequate verification. Despite the assertions in their written communications, Online Information Services has not properly reported to the credit reporting agencies that I have disputed this account. FDCPA requires companies to report the dispute within 30 days. The certified mail was signed and received by the company but the certified receipt was not dated by the signatory. Despite this, Online Information Services replied to my initial dispute in a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX. This is evidence that they received my dispute on or before XX/XX/XXXX. Also, despite repeated requests, Online Information Services continue to refuse to provide adequate verification of the information they are reporting on my credit profiles. They continue to mail me copies of bill printouts without providing original signed agreements or proof that they had the right to collect the debt. I have also contacted my health insurance company regarding this alleged medical bill. My health insurance company does not have any claims indicated from the date of service being reported by Online Information Services. All my medical bills would be first submitted to my health insurance company to file a claim for payment. My insurance company is denying that a claim has ever been submitted. Online Information Services has also left a host of critical information blank on my credit profile such as the account " balance. '' The account numbers that Online Information Services have reported to the credit bureaus are not reported completely ( numbers end in multiple x 's ). The partial/incomplete account numbers that Online Information Services have reported to the credit bureaus do match any of the numbers indicated on the billing statement they sent to me in response to my request for account verification. Online Information Services is also reporting the account type as " No Info '' to some credit reporting agencies while reporting it as " Collection '' with other credit reporting agencies. Online Information Services has reported a host of other conflicting information between the varying credit reporting bureaus. For example, the date that the account was opened is different between reporting agencies. They have reported to XXXX that the account was opened XX/XX/XXXX which is different from the dates they report on the billing statement they sent as verification and different than the information that they have reported to XXXX and XXXX. They also have their company address listed different between the various credit reporting agencies. My XXXX profile indicates that Online Information Services closed the account XX/XX/XXXX ( more than a year after their bill printout indicated full payment was received ), which is not what they indicated in their verification letter and is inconsistent with the information reported to the other credit reporting agencies. This could possibly extend this item on my credit profile an additional year.

Complaint: I have been in contact with this organization XXXX XXXX since earlier this year. They stated that they were collecting on an old utility bill that I supposedly had with XXXX XXXX XXXX here in New York state, where I am located. I am not sure if the notice for this bill was sent to a previous address as I NEVER received this bill from the company all the sudden, I am getting contacted by this collection agency that is operating out of North Carolina. When I pulled my credit report, I show that this is showing as an active collection agency account and was absolutely floored by this! They stated that I needed to pay them over {$1500.00}. When I asked for additional information about that bill from a representative by the name of XXXX, I was told that I needed to pay them all of this money and she gave me minimal information about it. She indicated that they did not own the account, but was collecting on behalf of the company, which totally confused me. I decided that I would call the original company, XXXX XXXX XXXX to see if I was able to get any further information. When I called the company, I was told they couldnt give me any information about the account as it was SOLD to an outside agency. I even tried to speak with them to see what was owed and was given no further information but was told to call the collection agency back. I then called back to the agency and spoke with Rep XXXX AGAIN, who then told me that I was given misinformation by the original creditor and they did not own the debt but was collecting on their behalf. When I asked how we could get this off my credit report, I was informed that they would not take this off of my credit report, even if I was able to an agreement with them. I truly dont even know what all this amount includes and honestly feel that a large portion of the debt was obtained by the new tenet who moved in after I left and kept the bill on in my name for some time before switching over. There is no way I could owe this much moneyIt was just not possible. I was always very diligent about paying my utilities and just wanted information as to how this amount was calculated, but I was unable to get any of this from the Rep. I then asked to speak with her manager, and she transferred me to lady by the name of XXXX. XXXX started the conversation so nicely, but then became extremely rude after I told her that I would like more information on this collection account and it needed it to be taken off my credit report. She was very aggressive and told me that the original creditor was lying to me and they did not own the debt and I needed to pay the full amount to settle and they will NOT be taking their name off my credit reports. We continued to go back and forth, as I told her I needed to understand why this was showing on my credit report and how this amount was being calculated. It was totally unfair, and I didnt have the opportunity to properly investigate the issue, as no one would give me proper information. If there was a bill, it was not even sent to the correct address and now, I have this collection account showing on my credit report. How unfair and such a violation of my rights under the FDCPA. I never even had the opportunity to request validation of the debt. I told her that I had sent in multiple request to have this investigated, but they sent me nothing the mailAT ALL. She started yelling at me on the phone, at which time I asked if I could speak with her manager and she told me NO. I could have his voice mail. When I asked what his name was, she indicated it was XXXX and would not give me his ext. When I asked for her ID number, she accused me of having someone coerce me in the back ground, which was totally false and completely out of line. She continued to over talk me and tell me how they and that I needed to pay them. I practically begged them for a settlement offer, because I know that I dont owe this amount and I just wanted the reporting to stop, at which time she stated that she could give me 10 % off the original balance, which was a total contradiction from what she said when I initially started to speak with her. She told me that I would have to pay the full amount! Which was a bold face LIE! I want this company to remove themselves off of my credit report, as they have no right to be reporting anything. They will not send me ANY information in the mail, that even constitutes them having the right to either report on my credit or attempt to collection on a debt, that I must assume was being sent to the wrong address to begin with.

Complaint: Received a notification that a collection account was placed on my credit report. Looked into who it was and what for as I had never received a collection notice. Found out it was from Online Information Services for XXXX for a utility bill from a previous address. I received this notification in XX/XX/2018 and quickly responded to them with a debt validation letter. I contacted the utility provider ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and verified with them there was no outstanding bill due as it was paid in XX/XX/2018. The account was reported in XX/XX/2018 as unpaid which caused damage to my credit score. I disputed this account with all 3 credit reporting agencies, one has removed the account all together, one verified the account as mine and the last one has not responded or updated the information on the credit report. XXXX has removed the account. XXXX verified the account as mine and XXXX has not responded. One report I believe was updated to a paid collection, how can they provide false information to the credit bureaus as a paid collection when they never received a payment and the original creditor was paid directly?

Complaint: I have disputed the Online Information Service Company asking for VALIDATION not verification. I've followed up with this collection agency with 3 verification letters on XX/XX/18, XX/XX/18, XX/XX/18. THEY HAVE YET SENT ME THE ORIGINAL INSTRUMENTS OF INDEBTEDNESS IN ITS ORIGINAL FORM, instead they keep sending me a bill and keep overlooking are ignoring my request to confirm it. I have also sent three rounds of letters to dispute the account information at as inaccurate with all three disputes the credit bureaus kept stating that the collection has been verified and is accurate this debt. How is that possible? Under the law of the FDCPA, I have contacted the collection agent and the orignal clients myself and has been unable to get them to verify that this is indeed my debt or yet has since sent me the original instruments of indebtedness in its original form. I've also demand the credit bureau to investigate properly rather than using XXXX 's system. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), the credit bureau are required by federal law to verify through the physical verification of the orignal signed consumer contract- any and all accounts posted on a credit report.
