Complaint: I do consistently run XXXX weeks behind on my vehicle payment. The payment is never made more than XXXX days late. One Main Financial calls my cellphone numerous times per day, and today every hour on the hour, once my payment is XXXX days late. They can see my payment history. This loan is XXXX years old. They send repeated letters in the mail to me where " they '' have scheduled " me '' to come in to their office for an appointment to discuss my loan, and my loan is never more than XXXX days late. This is utter harassment! They repeatedly send appointment notices in hopes of bullying me into deferring my payments. I do not want to defer. I do not want to prolong this loan and have to deal with them any longer than I have to. I do not want to pay more interest at XXXX % ( ridiculous ). I simply want to pay this off and get away from them. They are never able to report a more than XXXX days late to the credit bureau because my payment never runs that late, but it does run behind. The harassment is ridiculous!

Complaint: I have been late on my loan payment since my husband lost his job. I have made a deferred payment for XX/XX/2016 payment. They make calls and leave messages for me every day, send me mail. Which is fine I understand the loan needs to be paid. Now they came to my home. Calling all of my references repeatedly. I already explained to them my situation. They came to my home yesterday, spoke with my husband. So we know the situation. I am making every effort to try to get the money together. Still today they call my father. He has a XXXX XXXX. I do n't need him to know that I am having problems paying my bills. Once a week, mailed letter is fine to remind me that I am late on my payment. This is harrasment. Complaint: I had obtained an installment loan with One Main Financial ( formerly known as XXXX ) approximately in XX/XX/2016. Upon default due to hardship, One Main had continuously and repeatedly contacted myself on numerous occasions after reporting my financial status to them. Fortunately, after speaking to a supervisor ( XXXX XXXX ) and informing her my status we were able to come to terms of making an reasonable solution : pay a portion of the balance. While speaking to XXXX XXXX I was able to provide all necessary banking information such as banking account number and routing number, and informing her the timeline of when the money can be debted from my checking account so that the account status can be satisfied. However, on today 's date, I had received once again an unexpected call from a representative from One Main requesting for myself to make a payment over the phone. I had even at XXXX point requested from One Main to cease and assist with phone calls due to stress and aggravation that representatives were afflicting upon me.
Again, I plan to pay the amount owed on the given day the money becomes available, however, I am asking for assistance from the Federal Trade Commission to stop with unwanted calls as I am construing this as a form of harassment now.

Complaint: I recently applied for a debt consolidation loan through One Main Financial, of XXXX. I provided my social security number, income details, address and rental history details, and very throughout information as to the credit card amounts and monthly payments I was looking to consolidate.
The company is NOT XXXX in underwriting standards. I applied for the debt consolidation loan through their website XXXX https : //www.onemainfinancial.com/ ), then spent XXXX minutes on the phone with a woman in a call center re-confirming all the information I had input online.
A local underwriter ( XXXX ) asked for income proof. I sent him my most recent federal tax return, photo ID and most recent bank statement showing paychecks being deposited. His local branch phone number is XXXX.
I 'm self employed and can write off many business related expenses. This results in my tax return showing I earn far less than the paychecks I receive ( which they had on file ). They claimed they were only allowed to use the federal tax return as income proof. Called back & supervisor said the same thing.
Here 's my gripe : At NO PLACE on the website, nor verbally was I told they can only accept a tax return as income proof. If I had known this up front I would not have spent an hour of my time with them, nor sent sensitive documentation. I feel I was descriminated against due to my XXXX self employed status.

Complaint: I took out a personal loan with Springleaf Financial, which has merged with OneMain Financial recently. I am unable to obtain accurate and timely information about my account and payments due from OneMain. On XXXX XXXX, 2016, I made a payment of {$730.00}. This was for reinstatement of the loan to current since I had missed XXXX payments ( XXXX - XXXX 2016 ). My monthly payment amount is {$170.00} on the XXXX of each month, so I assume the difference of {$32.00} included late fees? On XXXX XXXX I spoke with a representative about my XXXX thru XXXX payments. The representative explained that I was past due for XXXX and XXXX ( true ), and that the XXXX payment was due on XXXX XXXX as per usual. The total amount due was {$570.00}. I questioned this amount because {$170.00} XXXX 3 months is NOT {$570.00} ; there was a difference of {$45.00}. She explained that there were late fees outstanding and an NSF fee from XXXX 2016. This was a surprise to me because if I paid a lump sum on XXXX XXXX, all fees should have been included in the 'amount due ' when I made the payment. The rep confirmed the fees were not included. She stated that she would request a waiver of a {$15.00} late fee and payment of {$350.00} would bring me current until my XXXX XXXX payment of {$170.00} was due.
Alas today is XXXX XXXX and my account still shows a past due balance of {$570.00}. I called OneMain to question why my payment of {$350.00} has not been applied, and what happened to the late fee waiver? The rep explained that on his end he can see an amount due of {$200.00}. I have enclosed a screenprint of my online account so you can see the amount online does not match what the rep instructed me to pay. He then came back and stated that the late fee waiver was not updated in the system because they are n't reflected until the payments post. Why has my payment not posted in 8 days?
I am further frustrated by the lack of any valuable detail on my billing statements. They do not break out the origin of outstanding fees, the date said fees were incurred, how my payments are applied toward principal, interest, etc. I have attached several months of billing statements to substantiate this claim. These billing statements are as useless as the online account. The representative I spoke with today is now confirming that I only owe today 's payment of {$170.00} which I have literally NOWHERE in writing. The rep states that he can send a 12 month payment history to validate how my payments have been applied but I have no confidence whatsoever.

Complaint: I did not take out the loan, I have contacted them several times and to date nothing even XXXX will not help, I was in jail when the loan was taken out, before jail I was in the hospital having XXXX, i can give county info and hospital info, I cant be in two diffrent places, and last i checked i cant just walk out of XXXX to take a loan out. i have had id theft in past 3 years and that has been on my credit file and yet i never got a call, because at XXXX we cant answer the phone, please look into this, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX on the dates

Complaint: I got into a car accident shortly after getting this loan and had changed jobs. I bought all three insurances from the lender to make sure if anything happened to me the loan would be covered and not harm my credit. I missed a payment and all the huge fees and fines snowballed the insurance I purchased would no longer cover me since the way I get paid changed. I continued to make payments and get caught up they continued to report late payments regardless even though I worked out an agreement. I was actually paid ahead XXXX XXXX and still reported me late. My loan was always paid ahead since. I have paid off this loan XXXX XXXX in full and the loan is still reporting as open with a dollar balance. I was sold fraudulent financial products such as the insurance and have now suffered harm to my credit because their bogus products to protect people from these circumstances are fake. The late payments need to be removed and a refund is due on the bogus products sold to me and all the pumped up fees and fines refunded and late payments removed. I could never recommend this company. I have a stellar credit history otherwise
