Complaint: My husband and I bought our house XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX and two years later we did a refi XXXX for XXXX then GMAC went out of business in our area and then we were sent a letter that Ocwen Loan Servicing would be handling our loan and we had no Idea who the investor was on the loan. Today we are trying to sell the home and we owe more for the house now than we financed it for. We did do a modification on the loan but the escrow shortage was XXXX now its XXXX and how that happened we have no clue. Ocwen only notifies us of potential foreclosure and the added about XXXX to our home loan and told us that this is part of the modification and work out for our home. They refuse to research it for mistakes, which there are plenty. They do not have payments that were made when GMAC had our home loan nor do they have the records and will not try to fix the problem.

Complaint: I received in XX/XX/XXXX a letter from Ocwen claiming {$1000.00} for past mortgage payments and threatening with foreclosure. They don't specify which payments were missed nor provided any dates whatsoever. Attached please find documentation of the latest payments made to Ocwen as well as their regular statements in the amount of {$210.00}. Ocwen is notorious for their substandard accounting processes. In the past Ocwen claimed amounts that were not due and and resulted in a refund to me for consecutive over-payments. This process took about a year, they unnecessary reported me to the major credit agencies and affected my credit rating. Finally they had the rectified and send a request to agencies to have reporting removed. This was XX/XX/XXXX. Confirmation # XXXX. Letter attached. Ever since I have been receiving statements requesting the regular payment of XXXX, but the last payment submitted in XXXX for the month of XXXX was returned and a letter asking for XXXX ( the equivalent to 5 months payment ) was received on XX/XX/XXXX. Letter attached. We have never missed a payment nor being late ever since it was open in XXXX. I have some health issues and this is contributing to its worsening. They are threatening with foreclosure and of course damaging my credit again ... I can't keep on being the object of the malfunctioning of this company again. They are not communicating in an effective way, just doing on their own.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I sent a check to Ocwen for XXXX knowing I would have a small balance left on my mortgage. Almost 30 days later I received the check back without an explanation. I called and spoke to XXXX ID # XXXX he said if I paid over 80 percent of my mortgage I would have to pay the mortgage in full. He gave me the pay off amount and I sent a check in XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX. Almost 30 days later I received the check back without any explanation. I called and spoke to XXXX ID XXXX. He told me that the check needed to be certified and gave me a new payoff amount of XXXX which was XXXX more. I asked if they could waive the increase and was told it would take 30-90 days. A supervisor by the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX was supposed to get back to me but never did. I was under a time restraint sent the certified check in for XXXX. Today XX/XX/XXXX I found out the Ocwen reported a delinquency on my credit report for the month of XX/XX/XXXX. I called them and was on the phone for 3 1/2 hours. I spoke to XXXX XXXX, XXXX ID # XXXX, XXXX ID # XXXX, XXXX ID # XXXX and XXXX ID # XXXX who finally told me to call XXXX XXXX in the abundsman department. She asked me to email her asking for a courtesy credit adjustment. She advised me it could take up to 15 days because management had to review it. I asked her if I could speak to someone in management and she said no I would have to wait to hear from someone. I am trying to obtain a new mortgage and need this resolved in a timely manner. It's unbelievable to me that common sense of them receiving money and sending it back to me, the stress of taking 3 months to pay off my mortgage because of their " policies '' which were never clearly communicated in the first place and then they ( probably a computer generated program ) reports a delinquency which effects my credit score. How easy would it be to say - Yes I see that we kept sending the money back. I am very sorry. I will correct your credit report right away. I'm sorry. No, that was not the case. It was exhausting. Please help. This is a time sensitive matter and I should not have this effect my credit because of their incompetence. Thank you.

Complaint: I WAS PROVIDED WITH A MODIFICATION EARLIER THIS YEAR AFTER MAKING COMPLAINTS THAT OCWEN WAS UNABLE TO OFFER ME A LOWER PAYMENT. I WAS GRANTED A MODIFICATION AND I BELIEVE I HAD MADE 2 PAYMENTS UNDER THE MODIFICATION BUT THEN MISSED THE LAST PAYMENT DUE TO A LAY OFF IN XX/XX/2018. I WAS UNSURE WHETHER I WAS GOING TO RECEIVE ALL OF MY SEVERANCE FROM THECOMPANY IN TIME. I MISSED THE LAST PAYMENT AND HD TO APPLY ALL OVER AGAIN. OCWEN PROVIDED ANOTHER MODIFICATION A FEW DOLLARS HIGH AND THE FIRST PAYMENT WAS DUE IN THE MONTH OF XXXX BY THE XXXX. I ONLY MADE A PARRTIAL PAYMENT BECAUSE THERE IS {$570.00} SITTING IN UNAPPLIED THAT SHOULD BE USED ALONG WITH THE PARTIAL PAYMENT SUBMITTED. WHEN I CONTACTED OCWEN CUSTOMER SERVICE TOLD ME THAT THE MODIFICATION HAD BEEN CANCELLED. XXXX. LET OCWEN GO ON UNEMPLOYMENT AND THE INVESTOR OF MY LOAN GO ON UNEMPLOYMENT AND SEE HOW ITS LIKE. THEY WILL ALL MISS XXXX IN THEIR 18K GOLD TOLIET BOWELS. TODAY I RECEIVE A ETTER THAT MY NAPPLICATION IS DENIED FOR A MODIFICATION BECUASE I MISSED THE PAYMENT THIS IS XXXX AND DISCRIMINATION AAGAIST ALL HOMEOWNERS THAT ARE EXPERIENCING HARD TIMES. AS WELL AS I HVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR 8 YEARS AGAINST OCWEN AND THE INVESTOR TO WORK WITH ME BUT THEY REFUSE TO ABIDE OF THE LAWS TO HELP HOMEOWNERS. THIS MATTER IS NOW BEINGING HANDLED WITH CFPB. Complaint: Loan was signed for by someone else in XXXX. I was given keys to property even though my signature, nor lender, nor sellers signature appears do not appear on the final paperwork. I was unaware it was never completed until XXXX. I have tried many times to resolve with OCWEN. But they are not who had the original debt, they acquired it. I have been victim of ID theft more than 3 times since age XXXX. I have filed police reports and attempted to fix credit reports over the years. I have lost my wallet and/or ID twice this year alone. I filed paperwork with FTC recently when found out about new laws. Sent required papers to company for them to contact original debt holders ; where they obtained the information regarding the original debt per the law and instead they sent me papers asking for a copy of my signed social security card, and an notarized affidavit. Additionally they requested that I not send the form to the FTC or any governmental agency. Also I filed bankruptcy to try to get them to stop putting this erroneous info on my reports. They sent me information saying I had no personal liability if I filed bankruptcy. However, they still try and collect a debt that has NEVER been mine and that has ruined my credit!
