Complaint: I was behind in payment Ocwen offered a modification if I paid the arrears. I did and became current they inturn approved a loan modification and I was on track but in the interim they turned my mortgage over to PHH they refused to continue with the loan arrangement instead they offered a Balloon Payment with a 15 year term payments only applied to the principle and also said my wife had to be included on the loan.

Complaint: My financial hardship started inXX/XX/XXXX. Prior to this date, I made every possible attempt to ensure that my monthly mortgage payments are made in a timely manner. However, due to business failure and medical situation I was unable to make my monthly payments. By the time I'm ready to pay the balance due and get reinstated, the loan transferred to PHH/ Ocwen Loan Servicing . Despite all attempts in obtaining a loan modification, as this date, we have received a deceptive response from PHH / Ocwen Financial Services. I have made numerous attempts to reach a representative with PHH / Ocwen Financial Services and have submitted the required documents for a loan modification through US mail and also their web portal. However, due to the lack of communication with a customer service representative and or the Relationship Manager has been a major challenge. Calls are placed on hold for hours and at the end unable to obtain accurate information. Consequently, due to inconsistency with the manner PHH/ Ocwen Loan Servicing conduct business, they denied the request for the loan modification incorrectly. As of this date, they are ignoring the appeal for the loan modification denial using incorrect income, family income that contributes to helping with the housing expenses and incorrect property value. I have disputed the inaccurate NPV input chart and yet again my request has been ignored. It will be devastating to lose my home when I have to care of my XXXX children and XXXX XXXX senior citizens that will consequently be displaced should we lose our home. I just feel like, PHH/ Ocwen Loan Servicing is motivated to take my home.

We are requesting for PHH / Ocwen Financial Services to review our financial application using correct property value and income for a loan modification or a short sale and stop the unlawful foreclosure procedures. We reserve the right to take legal action against PHH / Ocwen Loan Servicing for this type of illegal business practice, VIOLATION OF THE HOMEOWNER BILL OF RIGHTS and UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES CAL. BUS. & PROF. CODE 17200.

Complaint: The XXXX fire happened on XX/XX/2018. Since that time me and my family have experienced nothing but additional hardship, loss and bureaucracy in trying to recover and repair my home. And since I already filed one complaint against PHH Mortgage and the process of releasing my insurance funds to make repairs I will keep this brief.
The most recent payments made by the CA Fair Plan are being held, going on over 40 days combined, PHH and the " servicer '' have decided that adding an additional layer of red tape/process would be so incredibly helpful to THEM in repairing my home. They have not lived through the tragedies, but everyone and anyone who could make this more difficult, oppressive and insulting have done so. I can not get the money issued by my insurance company in XXXX. My family 's health and economic stability has been greatly impacted. PHH/XXXX/XXXX have now added additional injury and insult to an already bad situation. It appears as though it is not important to get my home repaired, it is more important to add layer upon layer upon layer of process.
We were declared a National Disaster, so I will also send a copy of this complaint to XXXX XXXX 's office in the hope that someone in Washington may care more about people over bureaucracy.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX a Hurricane hit my area in Florida. Since I was affected, I entered into a hurricane repayment plan with Ocwen Mortgage Acct XXXX. Since then, I have paid them {$1100.00} every month on time, never 30 days late. Ocwen Mortgage reporting is GOOD and not reporting behind. 14 months good reporting since the agreement inception. Thank You Ocwen Mtg.
PHH Mortgage company recently took over my Ocwen Mortgage account as of XX/XX/XXXX. Since then they have been reporting me late on my mortgage payments, even though I have been paying them every month Approximately $ XXXX/mo, never 30 days late. I phone and fax them to correct the reporting, but they will not fix it. See attatched.
I am in the XXXX business, and employers check my credit report to decide if I can work for them or not. Lately, I have been turned down for everything I apply for. Not only a job, but credit cards and applying for credit.
Every month I have to notify all 3 bureas to correct the negative reporting. So far I have spent 35 hours try to fix the problem. Lately, the bureas have stopped helping me because I reported the dispute before. I have hit a dead end.
I have been calling, faxing and challenging to get my new Mortgagee to not report me late. They continually post bad credit reporting. They do not want to correct it. My record will always show late for the next 7 years on my Mortgage. Please Help!

Complaint: We purchased a home in XXXX through ERA. We filed Chapter XXXX bankruptcy not on the home and that was dismissed and paid for in XXXX. We went through a mortgage help company and paid over 800 to get our mortgage through a different company due to the problems we had with ERA. This company then got us a loan modified through PHH and both companies have the same account number, and telephone number to contact them. We have received a letter from PHH last month stating that our direct payments will no longer be pulled since we filed bankruptcy on the loan. We have not filed bankruptcy on the loan and the bankruptcy has already been dismissed so we are not sure why they did this. We have been paying extra every month but now the company says our account number is no longer valid. I am not sure how a mortgage company can hire outside companies and then lie about being the same company. They have the same people working there also. Is there anything we can do about this since this company is lying and we paid extra money to get rid of them. I am attaching all the paperwork that we have received from both companies. any help would be greatly appreciated. Both my husband and I are on Social security and can not afford extra money.
