Complaint: OCWEN lost our loan when we refinanced with XXXX. XXXX took over our loan in XXXX, 2019. OCWEN was holding {$2200.00} in escrow at that time. OCWEN returned {$710.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. OCWEN still owes us at least {$1500.00} in escrow funds. We contacted OCWEN and they told us we had to fax them a written request for " research ''. OCWEN is way beyond the statutory time limit for returning all of our unused escrow funds.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX We purchased a home in Maryland as a short sale. In our HUD 1 it shows that the seller had two loans with 2 separate loan numbers. We received letters from the sellers mortgage company they accepted our offer, and we proceeded with the sale. Fast forward to XX/XX/XXXX we were selling our home and had a ratified contract, when 2 days before our scheduled closing on XX/XX/XXXX our buyers title company tells us there is a lien in the amount of $ XXXX outstanding on our home from the previous seller, and no title company will close the deal unless we assume responsibility. Our mortgage company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX basically does not wish to help because we did not have title insurance, and they can not file a claim because technically the loan does not exist. The previous sellers mortgage company was Freemont Investments, they went bankrupt, re-emerged as another company and eventually sold to Ocwen. Ocwen will not give anything in writing because they state there is no loan or lien, and flat refuse to provide anything to XXXX XXXX, the current company trying to close this new sale. To further complicate the matter Freemont Investments went out of business, and as said now is Ocwen, who refuses to assist in any way. The previous owners title company also went out of business and our title company we used, which was affiliated with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, also went out of business. Now, we are being told that nobody can help us and the only two options we have are to either assume the $ XXXX debt that shows was paid off of on HUD1, or wait another 8 years for the $ XXXX non-existing loan that was already paid off to fall off of the records. As of XX/XX/XXXX our buyer is requesting to walk away, and this leaves us with a mortgage to a house we can not sell because Ocwen refuses to do the research and give us the release on something that was paid for on our HUD1. Basically, in a nutshell, Freemont Investments only released one of the two liens but received payment for both loand per our HUD1.

Complaint: I have paid my mortgage payment on time for the last 3 years. I filed bankruptcy in 2014 but again ; still maintained my mortgage. The mortgage company has apparently lost 2 of my payments in the transition of selling my loan and i have sent copies of the cashed payments several times ( 7 ) but they have to be located and applied to my account. I have called the Mortgage company at least 3 times a month trying to rectify this situation but to no avail. They have now reported me to the credit bureau as missing a payment in which i have not. I am at a loss as what to do. I have asked for a copy of my applied payments for the last 2 years and was advised that I would have to pay {$10.00} to obtain this information. My phone calls do not rectify the situation and i continuously receive letters threatening foreclosure. This is Not fair. I advised them that i was going to file a complaint ; it was as if they did not care and were not concerned. I am in need of your assistance. I am sure they and other mortgage companies have done this to others and I need it to stop. Please assist me in doing that.

Complaint: This complaint is about tricks and techniques being used by a Mortgage Company to take away a piece of property occupy by an elderly man and XXXX children a girl XXXX years old and a boy XXXX years old after their mother passed away in XX/XX/2019. The type of problem that I am having is the Mortgage Company is charging some fees in advance without any research about how much money we have coming in the house which for years we have been participated in some programs and what the numbers are that's what they are, and after being giving us several payoffs, now they try to change their minds by forging numbers. And also try not to recognize me as the owner on the deed. After death of my wife which I have been always the payer for the Mortgage, now they are charging many junk fees by raising the Mortgage Payments and they told me that I am not authorize on the loan and also they don't want to accept payments from me and I have been paying for near 15 years. What happened They need to foreclose on us by forging numbers, jacking the balance of the loan, blocking my monthly payments, telling me that I am not Authorize on the Loan. many Documents I sent always come short. PHH Mortgage an Ocwen Mortgage Company. I just made a payment on they Website, they took down our page so we wouldn't be able to make payments so they can foreclose take our house.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX responded to my CFPB consumer complaint XXXX informing me the Ocwen Loan Servicing is removing the Ocwen Loan Servicing mortgage account from all three major credit reporting agencies and went into detail responding to CFPB. Ocwen joined shady PHH mortgage, another shady operation thats had so many legal troubles. Ocwen transferred my so-called loan to PHH. Every since the transfer I have not been receiving any notification from PHH about my loan and I am unable to speak to a live PHH representative because every time I call the automated system says PHH is unable to transfer my call to speak to a live representative regarding my loan and to try back later. I have been unable to speak to a live representative and I am unable to access mortgage statements on PHH mortgage site. I do not know what payments are due. I believe shady Ocwen and phony PHH are once again attempting to intentionally rip off my home because thats what they do. PHH is illegally charging me false fees and reporting false information to all three credit reporting agencies. I demand to know what payments are due so I can bring the loan current. I demand shady PHH to remove the mortgage account from all 3 major credit reports immediately.

Complaint: We are ready to pay off the mortgage, the lienholder is OCWEN FINANCIAL, we have contacted them several times and they say that they don't have any records on the debt, yet there is a lien filed on the property from them and we have documentation that proves that there was a balance owed to OCWEN. We just want OCWEN to give us a payoff and we want to proceed and pay off the loan. The attached documents show that there was a bankruptcy chapter XXXX. After the bankruptcy was discharged there is an order to pay OCWEN {$480.00} per month. Also, there is another letter that has an 8 digit account number that shows a balance as of 2017. We call OCWEN and Ocwen says that they can't locate anything with that loan number, nor with the address, nor with the social security number of the mortgagees. We believe that they are not doing all they can to help pay off the debt.

Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX My Mortgage company is PHH Mortgage services. My account number XXXX I purchased my house in XX/XX/XXXX. I have had a payment of XXXX for the entire duration of the note until XX/XX/XXXX. I made the mistake of not paying my property taxes on time, The mortgage company Claimed they received a letter and paid it for me, while opening a Escrow Account. I had never had an escrow Account and Did not desire one. I paid my taxes and insurance out of my pocket direct every year prior. I called Phh in XXXX and asked what I needed to do to delete my ecrow account. I was informed that I owed them {$5000.00} and was told to pay before XXXX. I Paid {$5000.00} to them on XXXX and was informed I also owed an additional {$1100.00} for this months payment and fees. I had already made 2 payments in XXXX one on XXXX for {$780.00} and one on XXXX for {$790.00}. I was told everything was taken care of and my payments would return to normal. I called on XXXX to make my next payment and was told they had already paid my next years taxes and opened another escrow account, they refused to reverse it and told me my new payment were XXXX. I would like to refinance my house and was in the process when I was told that there was not a payment made for XXXX. For them doing this it put the first in 14 years over 30 days late on my account which made me have to cancel my refinance and caused my payment to almost triple. I have made many phone calls that were all longer than 2 hours talking to customer service, escrow service, and refinance service, while always asking to speak to a manager. I was told every time, there is nothing they are willing to do, and they have given me no other course of action but to lodge a complaint and hope someone can help me, so I may refinance and get my payments at least back to normal.

I was not able to pay the unreasonable interest rate and fees attached to the mortgage and they foreclosed on my house. I lost over {$150000.00} in equity. I lost EVERYTHING, MY HOME, and EVERYTHING IN IT. OCWEN LLC, will not attempt to resolve this, they are CROOKS. THEY USE A CALL CENTER OUT OF XXXX, THEIR USA ADDRESS IS AN ABANDONED HOUSE WITH XXXX XXXX, AND USERS, ITS A SHELL. SEE REVIEWS ON XXXX. THEY HAVE BEEN ROBBING PEOPLE FOR YEARS. Complaint: Hi CFPB, I refinanced my house in XX/XX/XXXX. Not long after that, in XX/XX/XXXX, my contract was then transferred from the original bank : XXXX XXXX ( debt collector : Ocwen ) to a new debt collector called XXXX. I was supposed to start paying XXXX just in XX/XX/XXXX and the last payment to Ocwen should have been made on XX/XX/XXXX. Because of a miscommunication, I've swapped the payments, paying XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and then paying Ocwen on XX/XX/XXXX( the check was cashed just in XX/XX/XXXX ). I've called both companies and they've informed that everything was ok, that I should not worry about it. Nines months pass by and now I'm trying to negotiate my interest rates with XXXX. Unfortunately, I discovered that XXXX gave my XX/XX/XXXX payment to Ocwen and that Ocwen received two payments for the same month of XX/XX/XXXX. Not only that, now XXXX wants me to pay an extra mortgage, and already started sending letters stating that I'm not due with my obligations, which is not true as I'm very careful to not miss a single payment. I've called and sent many emails to XXXX to explain the problem and they finally said that they can't do anything about it and that I should contact Ocwen. The problem is that my co-borrower sent a fax and I've sent another one to Ocwen and they never replied to anything. Now I have XXXX from one side threaten me with foreclosure and on the other side I have Ocwen not responding to any of my faxes and calls. I want to solve this asap as this will affect my credit and also because I don't want to pay interest rates, as this was never my fault. Thank you so much for your services CFPB. They confirmed receipt. I've written emails and called to no avail. They continually put me off and have not changed to my legal name. My name is XXXX XXXX and i have recently reached out to your organization and explained in details of the unfortunate situation with regards to both mortgage lenders, Ocwen Loan Servicing and PHH Mortgage Services. The problem started out with Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC. Back in XX/XX/XXXX a Third Party submitted an application of my behalf and assisted me with the filing of a Loss Mitigation/Loan Modification application. Ocwen intentionally misled me into thinking they were helping me when infact their true intentions were to get my home out from under me. My account had been transferred to PHH Mortgage Servicies on XX/XX/XXXX and they too played the same game. Repetitive request for same documents, sending application which on the service would appear as if they wanted to help when in reality they were out for monetary gain. I have recently discovered by reputible sources and due diligence and uncoverd the fraudulent tactics that both companies were practicing. In my reviews it also mentioned how CFPB submited findings as well. Please note that I have lost my home of my deceased dear mother. It feels as if i have lost her all over again. They had no real intentions of helping me. I started out only two months deliquent going into my third, paying {$480.00} and 5 Hud affilate originazations neglected to not only handle an FHA properly which is mandated by the Government, but by the thrid party submitting my application four months later which only furthered my deliquency causing it to spindal out of control, i know clearly understand that Ocwen was on a cease-and-desist mandated by the courts and they were sinking. PHH acquired the account and played the same game. I am truly aware of the millions of dollars that these two companies have had to pay not only New York State, but they have caused many homeownes to face significant loss. . I have been served with a vacate notice and i will obey that just as i have everything else. Ocwen and PHH has to be stopped. What they don't realize is that i am a recent double major in the XXXX XXXX/XXXX XXXX and i will not stop until all resources and media outlets are made aware. The injusticies have happened to me, i have complete date/timelines of every spoken word to the minute. I have made a complete video of the duress state of my home. I am XXXX years old and my heatlh has drastically declined. I am a single mother with a XXXX year old who the pain is so severe that she has left home. I have no one to help me. I have been holding on to my dear mother and her memories because of that house and to depend on Ocwen not knowing that they were never going to help me and they knew the distress i was under omg! PLEASE! someone from your organization reach out to me, allow me to be that spokeperson to bring awareness. No one should ever have to go through this or be faced with such a loss. I played and obeyed by all parties rules. Imagine in essence of my own accord {$1600.00} i have lost my home are you kidding me! With the amount of Government Programs someone please tell me how could such a thing happen. I will be seeking legal representation, social media, news media and i will have no problems going all the way up to elected officials.
