Complaint: This company is constantly calling me leaving detailed messages about someone else ( which is illegal, they are leaving someone elses name and information on my voicemail I have proof of this ). The person leaving the message is stating that Im related to the person they are calling for, and that they need to speak to me. These people need to get their records straight. I am not in anyway attached to this person and this company needs to stop calling me, theyve called me several days for months, several times a day Ive asked you before not to be called and they keep calling, this is illegal and this has nothing to do with me. I do not know this person that they are calling for. The next step will be a lawsuit they need to take my number off of their records and stop calling me.

Complaint: My son and I ( co-signer ) took out a student loan in XX/XX/2006 for {$8000.00} with a interest rate of 9.250 %. Since this time the interest rate had remained the same until I started to pay extra on the student loans. Then to top it off, I repaid one loan off and received another interest rate increase, not fair or right. During this time, my son has been declared to be XXXX XXXX by the Social Security Administration. He had other student loans which were forgiven except for the 2 I co-signed. Navient DID take him off or the 2 loans as ( signer ) and made me sole responsible party. Looking at the loan papers, I found that Sallie Mae sent me/son a letter with Sallie Mae and XXXX XXXX on the letter head approving his/our loan. I found the loan is titled SIGNATURE STUDENT LOAN but serviced by Sallie Mae and all correspondence was through Sallie Mae. Since this time I found XXXX XXXX has eliminated student loans and Navient has/is the sole financial owner of my loan. For your information, I have documentation of my claims. Thank you, XXXX XXXX

Complaint: XXXX sold my XXXX Bank loans in XXXX, 2018 to Navient. I am XXXX and XXXX years old. I already am paying XXXX & XXXX a month and XXXX {$45.00} a month. My S. S. I. payments are {$750.00}. I tried to get a forgiveness, but they sent the application to the Dept. of Education. I am currently still in school and I can not stop the program yet. I needed a payment plan that would help include the other private loans from XXXX Bank that were sold to Navient. They said because I am already making no interest payments on the private loans of {$68.00} a month I can not lower any more payments, and they want to start raising payments for XXXX Bank to a total of {$150.00} starting in XXXX, and then, going up from there. I have tried to get some kind of payment plan that I can afford for all the private loans like an income contingent plan. They have offered me nothing and I need help asap. Instead, after I sent all the doctors information and their application, they sent the information to the Department of Education for total loan forgiveness, but that does not stop the private loan payments. They are just trying to delay addressing my application to them by sending the application to the Department of Education. I am willing to make payments but they need to do an income-contingent plan and they are not observing the contract I signed with XXXX for XXXX Bank that forgives loans if you have a physicians statement, which I sent them, in fact, I sent them 2 statements and my S. S. I. income statement. In my condition at XXXX years old, what can I do?

Complaint: In XXXX I graduated from XXXX University with a XXXX XXXX and approximately {$85000.00} in student loans. That was around the time that the federal government enacted the public service loan forgiveness ( PSLF ) program. I contacted my loan provider, Navient, to consolidate my loans and apply for the income based repayment plan ( IBR ). I then spent the next 10 years working with XXXX XXXX XXXX as a XXXX XXXX XXXX for various companies. In XXXX I applied for the PSLF and was denied. I was told that I had the right repayment plan but the wrong type of loan despite consolidating the loans with the specific intent of meeting the requirements for the PSLF program. This was the first time that I realized that I was mislead by Navient. I then consolidated my loans again and reapplied to the IBR plan with the specific intent of working towards the PSLF program. I was told by Navient that everything was in order, that I met all the requirements and I restarted the clock. In XX/XX/XXXX I called XXXX to check on the status of my progress as I was confused about why I had not received the yearly application to renew the IBP plan. I was informed that I still was not making progress as this time as I had the right loan but the wrong repayment plan. This was the second time that I realized I had again been disceived by Navient. I then called Navient to inquire as to how this happened as I was laboring under the belief that I had everything in order. Navient confirmed the consolidation was successful but that they never received the application for the IBR plan. I told them I didn't know how that was possible because 2 years ago I was told by Navient that everything was in order for the PSLF. The Navient representative said that he was sure I was told that but that's not how it is now. He proceed to tell me that even though I don't have the IBR plan my current standard repayment plan also met the qualifications for the PSLF program. I told him he was wrong that I needed the IBR plan. He again said that the standard plan met the qualifications for the PSLF and only after my insistence and double checking his facts did he acknowledged the mistake. This was the third time I was lied to by Navient. I have been mislead, misdirected, manipulated, and flat out lied to by Navient for the past 12 years. I have made career and life decisions based on the false information they provided me. Their actions are a flagrant abuse of power with the specific intent of deceiving the borrowers, bilking us out of our hard earned money, and forbidding us the financial debt freedoms awarded by the federal government.

Complaint: I have been trying without success for months to get Navient to work with me ony student loan. I went into a payment agreement which I informed the representative, I really could not afford because of the amount they were requiring me to pay. The representative stated their was nothing else she could do, even after speaking to a manager. It's like they want to see you fail at making payments to them. The representative then made me be signed up for debits to automatically be taken out of my account. As I informed them and suspected would happen, one payment was returned and they stated the whole agreement was null and void. They still would take money from my account per the agreement but it will show negative on my credit report. How do they expect people to get better jobs if they keep making negative hits on reports and don't work with the borrowers income? The loan is XXXX due and I have XXXX dollars being taken out of my account every two weeks. Which is a struggle, the loan number is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The loan was for the University of XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/2007.

Complaint: I graduated from XXXX University 's accelerated XXXX program in XX/XX/2013and within 3 months my Navient ( formerly known as Sallie Mae ) private loans went into affect at a rate of {$1100.00}. As a new grad XXXX I hadn't even found a job yet and once I did find a job, my salary was not high enough to cover the loans with my additional expenses. I was able to put the loan into forbearance for a couple of months, until finding a job, but this added {$250.00} each month to my outstanding loan with interest rates as high as % 11. When I did find a job at XXXX as a XXXX working on a XXXX XXXX XXXX, my hourly wages were amongst some of the highest hospitals, at a rate of {$37.00} an hour. However, even at this hourly wage and working 36 hours a week I was not able to afford the {$1100.00} a month student loan as well as my federal student loans. I had to borrow money from friends and family each month just to make the minimum payments on my Navient loans. It has been 5 years and I continue to owe {$40000.00} on that loan, working as a XXXX and barely getting by. I had to move my entire family and life up to the XXXX XXXX just to find a higher paying XXXX job to make the minimum payments on the loan. It's not right that teachers can be pardoned from student loans considering they are public servants, but why not XXXX too? I am a slave to my student loans and I can not go back to get my XXXX XXXX XXXX as a way to provide better care to the community considering the financial limitations of the Navient loan with incredibly high interest rates.

Complaint: Original Total Loan Amounts : {$10000.00} and {$19000.00} both dated XX/XX/2005. Made all payments on time. Guaranteed interest rate was 1.875 %. Navient changed my interest rate to 2.875 %. Accidentally made XXXX XXXX XXXX Online Payments to spouse 's Direct Parent Plus Loan on Daughter, XXXX 's Account., rather than on my own personal loan. When error was discovered XXXX XXXX XXXX Manager, myself and Sallie Mae manager resolved the issue immediately and payments were made immediately to rectify the problem. Dept. of Education FSA sent refund checks for overpayments to Parent Plus Loan since that loan had already been paid in full. Navient changed my interest rate to 2.875 and after many letters and phone calls to them they have refused to honor the correct interest rate of 1.875 for years. They may have already changed my interest rate prior to this error having taken place. I have always paid and continue to pay all of my bills on time and it is unjust that those who pay their bills are treated unfairly. Another complaint is also being filed in regards to my spouse 's parent plus loan through Navient.

Complaint: I havve been paying my student loans rigurously. On XX/XX/XXXX Navient reported a late payment which was not my mistake and have not removed it form the 3 credit reports until today.. It has been the mistake of all the representatives that are not doing the job correctly and are reporting whatever they want. I contacted them to removed the late fee from my 3 credit report agencies. Yesterday and Today I had received 2 alerts. Navient is reporting again on all the 3 agencies. XX/XX/XXXX, reported late again ( 2 negative items on XXXX ) Yesterday XX/XX/XXXX ( 3 late negative items ) when I have been paying on time I am tired to deal with Navient. they keep changing and sending letters of changes on the loans and kept changing the due dates as they pleased. MY payment dates are on the XXXX of each month and they kept changing date and loan terms, then they report you as late. everytime I have a problem with them I need to recur to this agency becuase they lock the phones, theire representatives dont answer correctyl. Even if you pay your loans on time. They keep calling you to make payments that are already made.

Complaint: Navient has my checking account information on file. I pay monthly and have never been late. I made a payment and have never changed my account information. All prior payments have been made from this account. I paid my monthly payment on the XXXX due on the XXXX. On the XXXX I received an email stating my payment was late. I went on line and made a second payment with the same acct. information. I called Navient and was advised that they sent me a letter stating that my payment was rejected by my bank and that I should contact my bank. I contacted my bank and was advised that there was nothing rejected or received. They also verified that the routing and transit number and account number was correct from prior payments. And that I should contact Navient a request a trace number to help determine what happen to the payment. I contacted Navient and CS advised me that a letter was sent yesterday and that my payment was rejected do acct number not being found. I explained to CS that the bank advised me that there was nothing rejected, and nothing was submitted I was told there was nothing they could do. After arguing with CS, I was finally transferred to a supervisor XXXX XXXX in Indiana. XXXX informed me that it was not submitted to the bank and could not tell me why. Only that I should delete my information and resubmit my acct information and try and make another payment. I explained that I was in a loan forgiveness program that did not allow me to be late with a payment and that continuing to submit payments that were being rejected without knowledge of why they were rejected would jeopardize my agreement. He had no answer and again advised that I delete my information and try again. I advised him that this was not acceptable and that I was being penalized for an error on their companies part. He had no response. He advised me that it was the companies policies not to give out phone numbers to reach him back with acct information for their protection. I called back to the CS to attempt to change the information requested, still without any explanation of what happen or assurance that it would not happen in the future and was told that Mr. XXXX was not available. I feel this is harassment and Navient 's attempt to break their agreement for loan forgiveness by attempting to make my payment late by not fault of my own. Mr. XXXX told me that they had no way of knowing if my payment would go though and that I would have to wait another week which would put me past my 15-day grace period. He also again could not offer any explanation for why it was not submitted to the bank.

Complaint: I went to XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX NV, and they promised to be able to have a job for me by when I graduated. It's now been over 10 years and XXXX XXXX XXXX is now closed. I have been there multiple times even after graduation up to 2 months before the school closing down. I still work as a security guard and navient is threatening myself and my mother to pay a ridiculously amount of money. My mother is on social security and I make very little money to support my family. I explained to them all my bills also letting them know I have child support being taken out of my check, and naviant stated to me, " that is not my problem, you should not have gone to school if you can't afford it. They should stop having poor people go to school ''. and they continue to threaten with ridiculous amount of money and saying if I don't pay they will ruin my life/credit and my mother 's. I am afraid to answer my phone Everytime it rings. My wife and I are talking about divorce due to not being able to repay this. I do not know what I can do and I feel I was defrauded by not only XXXX XXXX XXXX but also by naviant.

Complaint: This complaint is regarding an alleged debt collection from XXXX XXXX XXXX. It appears that the company is a collection company contracted with several municipalities. they appear to be contracted with the XXXX County Courthouse in Idaho. They sent me to XXXX for collection on an unpaid infraction fee around XX/XX/XXXX prior to exhausting all appeal procedures in court. As a result of non-payment they also requested my license to be suspended by the Idaho Transportation Department. I inform the collections company that the appeal of the infraction was still pending after I got the first notice. On XXXX the Idaho Legislature implemented House Bill 599 which determined that all pending infractions for failure to pay/suspensions were cleared. I told the collections agency that but they are still harassing me.

Complaint: I had three XXXX school student loans serviced by Navient. I have paid off all of those three loans in full. However Navient refuses to say that these loans are gone, and in fact just this morning sent me a notice saying my payments were set to increase! ( Even though my principal is {$0.00} ). I called Navient numerous times to ask when they would " process '' the fact that I've paid them all the money I owed. They initially said this takes 7 business days. Then they said it would take 30 business days. This is disconcerting because the first Navient loan I ever paid off was processed instantly as " paid in full. '' However the two loans I paid off in the last two months are still shown on the website and in new documents I'm receiving regarding payment increases as active loans. I've asked to speak to a Navient supervisor about this issue but the first-line customer service support says that is not possible. Given the recent publicity about other problems Navient has had servicing student loans, I am becoming increasingly suspicious that their intent is to not accept my payments in full, but rather keep me chained to the indentured servitude of student debt in any way they can.

Complaint: To CFO : NAVIENT Student Loan has fraudulently used my Social Security MORTMAIN VESSLE account number to issue me my own credit. How I found out is when I linked my social security number to my small business bank account on XX/XX/2017 for XXXX XXXX dollars and was approved and acknowledged and NAVIENT SOFTED pooled my credit report because someone seen the transaction take place. I also filed a XXXX XXXX with the IRS as the issuer of my own credit and it was approved as a tax professional and NAVIENT still have failed to correct the records of the payments for All my student loans because their trying to raise capital off of me as a slave! I'm over the age of majority and competent! They are trying to comitt embezzlement again me. According to the VESSLE lien act, they only had until the age of 25 to commit this crime against We The People! I also reported this matter to XXXX for them to correct their records as well because their reporting false information against my account and has caused me punitive damages! Complaint: At XXXX on XX/XX/18 I received a call, was trying to discuss my debt and the tech did not have my information available. He then placed me on hold, approx 10 mins. Never took me off hold and never called me back. on XX/XX/18 I received a call but since I am working I am unable to pick up. They proceeded to contact my sister who has no relation with this debt, nor is on any student loan. She told them she would relay the message. Then at XXXX they contacted my place of work!!! I told XXXX she was not allowed to do this and she said she was and she could. I contacted the number back on my phone and said to take off my work number. How and why is she calling people who are not involved in this debt?! Is this legal! I feel like my rights are being abused by this company by looking up phones numbers to anyone and everyone.
