Complaint: I took out a private loan with XXXX XXXX for my daughter when she was in college at XXXX XXXX for {$12000.00}. I took out the loan in XXXX made regular payments for an original loan amount of {$12000.00} beginning in XXXX XXXX when the loan was charged off by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX due to my bankruptcy filing in XX/XX/XXXX. The bankruptcy was dismissed in XX/XX/XXXX. Except for that time I have paid faithfully every month. So, why is the amount I owe basically higher. At one point, the account number was originally XXXX. Then it was changed to XXXX. I have not been credited for all payments to both accounts. I am sending two correspondences from NES. One dated XX/XX/XXXX with a balance of {$17000.00} and another dated XX/XX/XXXX with a balance of {$17000.00}. What happened to all my previous payments up until XXXX and my payments since XXXX-present? I have proof of payments, so my balance should be much lower. I sent a letter asking for a printout of ALL payments for this account, but only received the letter stating the balance.

Complaint: I XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Married name ) opened a Credit Card with XXXX XXXX XXXX with a credit line of {$800.00} on XX/XX/XXXX as XXXX XXXX ( Single Name ) because of lack of communication at the branch where i opened since i didn't speak English neither XXXX which the XXXX XXXX XXXX associate spoke, i didn't make payments on time, so it went for collection. But i never refused to pay for my debt, i just refused to pay the outrageous bank over fees, so as it went for collection i negotiated with the collection agency and Settled the balance in Full. Also i want to report XXXX XXXX XXXX for fraudulently using my married Name to report on my new social Security name that i obtained after my marriage privilege that gave me a status of obtaining a social security number which i didn't have any when i opened this account on XX/XX/XXXX as a Single Lady. My Social Security Number only got issued this year on XX/XX/XXXX. I am not neglecting to pay any legal amount that i owe, So only what i owed, i paid and settled in Full. The Representative at XXXX XXXX XXXX told me that i didn't have to make any payment on this credit card till after 8 months of opening it. I invest my money oversees in Banks so i totally understand how horrible fees can be if not managed properly. I could even file a Consumer Law Action about this but i rather seek for my rights with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. NES acknowledges receipt of requests but will not respond or even provide any useful or relevant information in writing. The one form letter/statement NES sent left more questions and problems than answers and it did not respond to any of the concerns we inquired about, like the allegation of there being more than one account. They have said several times that they can only communicate by telephone and thus provide no written records.

Complaint: XX/XX/2018 ~XXXXXXXX ( est ) I received a call from National Enterprise Systems that informed me a student loan was in default. This was a surprise to me since I've tried to stay up on my student loan payments and have been with the other 2 companies I deal with ( XXXX and XXXX ). Since I'm going through a divorce, I knew this was probably just an oversight and something I could begin making payments on again to fix. I was told that wasn't the case. They explained that since my mother was a co-signer, she would now have to pay the debt since they " knew she could afford it ''. I explained that my mother is on XXXX and was just released from the hospital for major XXXX XXXX and definitely couldn't afford it and that I would begin making payments. The person I spoke with told me that I was lying and that my mother could afford it and that I'm not allowed to make payments any more because they wanted the whole sum at once. I was floored that I was being called a liar and that I was being told I couldn't pay my own debt. Then I was told to give them my mothers most current contact info so that they could call her " and have an unpleasant talk with her ''. This was the last straw. I saw this as an attempt to use my mothers XXXX XXXX as a threat on her life over my student loan debt. Totally unacceptable when I want to pay my debt, I just need to do it in payments that I can afford and certainly not an entire lump sum at once.

Complaint: This loan went into default. I have made several attempts to contact the case manager who if she isnt there I end leaving a voicemail that never gets returned. Then if I do get her on the phone shes rude and will not negotiate with me. In the past 6 months Ive offered amounts from {$250.00} a {$2000.00} just to pay up front and then setup a payment plan for the remaining balance. She is absolutely unwilling to accept anything less than {$4000.00}. I would ask her what my options are to negotiate with them, and her response is to take out a second mortgage on my home or withdrawal funds from my 401k at work! So I appropriate!! When Ive asked multiple times to negotiate something to setup an automatic debt she ends up hanging up on me. Then when I ask the company for another case manager, they just route me back to her. When I ask for a manager, I get routed to her again! I would think a company would take any amount of money to at least begin the automatic debt process.

Complaint: XXXX was private student loan lender and now I am receiving mail from NES Of Ohio stating that my student loans are in default and in debt collection. NES Of Ohio has sent me notices in the mail stating I should paid the amount of {$7300.00}.
