Complaint: XXXXNearly every account on my credit report still have inaccurate, incomplete information regardless of several disputes this year and a phone call today. They always come back accurate/verified and then nothing else happens. Failing to report things as important as opening date, closing date, highest balance, etc. as required to do. When asking who the 3rd party was that was verifying this information, the rep did not know who. From my research it appears to LexisNexis previously and now XXXX. When I look at my LexisNexis Report, the information does NOT match what is on any of my credit reports. The Bankruptcy Court said they do not report to anyone so the data is not coming from there and would be wrong anyway. Are the credit bureaus taking short cuts? *phone call recorded XXXX2019XXXX was a dispute, closed XXXX.19 stating accurate and remains. I found that to NOT be true. Over the last several months there were many, many errors I had to dispute. I did so via the mail, online and on the phone.

Old information reappears or never goes away
Complaint: In reviewing my LexisNexis consumer report, I noticed very old information about apartments I've lived at, old addresses from when I was a child, old homes I no longer own and haven't lived at in decades, and I was unable to get any assistance from their representative in getting these items removed. If my credit report can not contain data from before 10 years ago, I don't see why LexisNexis data can contain a lifetime of information about me, especially since some of this is when I was a child and had no consumer data. If they are also bound by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, then I don't understand why old, stale, and inaccurate data can not be removed.
I ended up freezing my report, which really isn't ideal, but they left me with no choice. The report was 140 pages of data and the majority of it was stale data.

Complaint: I notified LexisNexis via certified mail XX/XX/2018, XX/XX/18, and XX/XX/2018, regarding 3 bankruptcies on my credit file. LexisNexis responded to me XX/XX/2018 stating they contacted Florida Federal Bankruptcy Court XXXX and the court verified the bankruptcies. XX/XX/2018 I sent LexisNexis a copy of a letter I received from Middle District of Florida Bankruptcy Court. Stating the court doesnt report any filings to the credit agencies.

Complaint: I filed a dispute regarding the inaccurate bankruptcy records on my credit report. LexisNexis responded with a letter confirming they were unable to complete the reinvestigation within the required timeframe and as a result deleted bankruptcy XXXX. The original dispute involved both bankruptcies listed on my credit report and both should have been removed. My case was withdrawn and I did not go to court. I have submitted proof previously. Please reference the following FCRA requirement : ( d ) Information Required to be Disclosed ( 1 ) Title 11 information. Any consumer reporting agency that furnishes a consumer report that contains information regarding any case involving the consumer that arises under title 11, United States Code, shall include in the report an identification of the chapter of such title 11 under which such case arises if provided by the source of the information. If any case arising or filed under title 11, United States Code, is withdrawn by the consumer before a final judgment, the consumer reporting agency shall include in the report that such case or filing was withdrawn upon receipt of documentation certifying such withdrawal.
In accordance with your failure to complete the reinvestigation in the required timeframe both bankruptcies should be removed.

Complaint: There is a public record on my credit file that does not belong to me, My name is XXXX XXXX not XXXX XXXX, and that public record has another persons name on it. I want the data furnisher which is not the court, to explain to me why is this public record on my credit file and where did they get it from. My credit file says that the company providing the bureaus with this public record information is called Lexis Nexis. I dont know who this company is and I dont know how this public record was put on my credit file. The FCRA states that a consumers credit file need to be 100 % correct without any errors. I want Lexis Nexis to delete the public record immediately.
