Complaint: I received an email on XX/XX/2019 from XXXX ( JPMorgan Chase Bank ) about changes to my Chase account, which included a forced arbitration clause and an exorbitant 15.99 % APR plus the Prime Rate = 21.49 % APR. In the section detailing out the requirements to reject this arbitration clause, the email, in part, states : " You must do so in writing by stating that you reject this agreement to arbitrate and include your name, account number, address and personal signature. Your notice must be mailed to us at XXXX. XXXX XXXX, XXXX, DE XXXX. Rejection notices sent to any other address, or sent by electronic mail or communicated orally, will not be accepted or effective. '' The requirements of JPMorgan Chase Bank to give notification of Arbitration Rejection places undue burden upon its customers.

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: This complaint is a follow up regarding a complaint # XXXX filed on cfpb.
The original complaint was regarding a dispute detailed below.
My laptop was stolen last year and someone used my information to book two flights from two different cities headed to the same destination. I immediately disputed the transactions as soon as i got a notification.i filed the complaint within an hour of getting notification that flights have been booked on my credit card. chase was extremely slow to respond and didnt do due diligence and contact the airline right away to cancel the flight and get me a refund.
Chase did a very poor job at investigating the incident and put the charges back on my credit card without doing a proper investigation. when i asked, i was told that i benefited from the transactions. Clearly, i couldnt have flown from two different cities to the same destination. later, the airline also confirmed that i never took benefited from those flights. chase asked me for a bunch of documents and i provided all the documents including the police report for the stolen laptop, proof that the flights were booked under my name. however, the date of births used to book the flights were not mine. Clearly, i couldnt have benefited from the services even if i wanted to.
The way chase handled the dispute was extremely poor and after multiple bad experiences and inability of chase to resolve disputes, i am pretty positive that chase is horrible at resolving disputes.
I am over that but this complaint i am filing is NOT about the original claim.Please read below about this complaint.

After this incident, i contacted XXXX and inquired about the flight. They told me that they found too bookings for the same person headed to the same destination from two destinations and cancelled one of the bookings and issued a refund. Chase has NOT contacted XXXX ONCE to resolve this issue. XXXX has confirmed several times that they have issued me a refund and the money has been transferred to my bank account. However, chase hasnt issued me a refund. Whenever i contact chase, they give me same old response. the case has been closed. I am not opening the same claim. Its a new complaint. XXXX has issued me a refund and it hasnt been given to me by chase. XXXX 's customer service can not connect me to the accounting team and therefore it not possible for me to find the transaction and details.This is chase banks job! connect with them and find out whats going on. Instead chase is asking me to contact XXXX and prove that the refund has been issued. XXXX is telling me to have my bank contact their accounting department because its a banks job to resolve this issues.Now, i am filing a new complaint demanding my money with interest and all the time chase has wasted.
I am attaching the documents that XXXX has provided me. Chase has asked me to provide these documents. Its chase 's job but i am doing this ob their behalf.
XXXX is clearly stating that the bank has the funds. They have also provided me a document showing that transaction details that the refund was applied to my account.
Please issue me a refund. I have done everything i could have. Please, DO NOT close my complaint without issuing me a refund that XXXX has issued a long time ago!

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I deposited a insurance claim check for a family member. Before depositing the check I verified the account and routing number. After depositing the check on XX/XX/2019, I received a email stating the funds were available for withdrawal in the amount of {$7500.00}. With this information I withdraw the funds and gave them to the payee of the check. On XX/XX/2019, I received another email from Chase Bank stating the transaction had been reversed because a stop payment order was in effect. I contact the insurance company and was to that their Bank which also is Chase had a stop payment order issues 9 months ago and the bank should not have honored it. I then contacted Chase corporate office and told them about the stop payment on the check that they honored. I was told that I was liable for the funds. I then went to the UCC Code for Banks honoring over a stop pay order and found under code 3-4, that a bank is liable because they do not act in good faith by causing a loss to my account. Had the they inquired within THEIR OWN RECORDS they would have ascertain that a stop payment order had been issues and not to honor the check. But because they did not inquire or research their own files of another account holder of their Bank it caused a check to be honored through my account. Their actions place a loss to my account which never seen have happen. The bank is liable under the UCC Code because it honored over a stop payment order. This order included anyone who deposit or try to cash the check it is to be not honored. Also under the UCC Code a holder in due course law needs to be enforced. Businesses do not follow or have knowledge of these codes and they need to be enforced. Under your account agreement with Chase it states if they honor a stop payment item they are liable. It doesn't state who had to place the stop payment order. Who is liable now?

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I ( XXXX XXXX ) received a call from caller ID Vermont, phone number XXXX, saying he was calling from the social security office. He said he knew my social security number ( and he did ), and said that others had used my social and I was in trouble becuase of what they had done. I then received a call with Caller ID XXXX Precinct. He told me i had better cooperate with the social security caller or i would be arrested.
I was instructed to wire all my money from my bank, Chase Bank, to XXXX XXXX XXXX, and I was given an acct name and acct number and routing number. In a panic i went to Chase and wired the money, all {$18.00}. that I had, all the money I have in the world. Chase saw my panic. Chase knows about phone frauds and scams. But Chase didn't say a word and even now Chase is not helping me to get my money back.

Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Complaint: I have tried to contact this credit card company, Chase Bank asking them several times to send me Verifiable Proof ( An Original Consumer Contract with my signature on it ) stating this debt of {$2500.00} is mine. They have failed to positively verify this account which has hurt my ability to obtain credit. Chase Bank continuously sends bills and collection letters in the mail that DO NOT belong to me. Under the FCRA, unverified accounts must be deleted if the company is unable to provide me a copy of verifiable proof and this company is refusing to do so. Please assist in having this account remove from my XXXX, XXXX and XXXX Credit Report. Thank you!

Complaint: I made a transaction yesterday, an amount of $ XXXXBut I found its a scam today. As its still pending, I called JPMorgan Chase which I bank with to cancel the transaction. But they said its already delivered and can not be canceled. I feel it doesnt make any sense. First, Im sure its scam and tried to make up in less than 20 hours. Second, status of that transaction is still pending even now when Im filling this claim, what does that pending mean if I cant cancel it? Third, I got all the scammers information and Im pretty sure its not the first she uses that account to scam, why the can not block that account of some people reported? They asked nothing about the scammer so she can keep it to scam more people.
I strongly feel my money is not safe in such a bank.

Complaint: I went into a bank and opened a savings account that was supposed to protect my account from being overdrawn. Turns out, the savings account was opened only in my wifes name and so this account keeps getting overdrawn. Not only that, but I am also late on all my bills and it may impact my credit! I am requesting to please reimburse the overdraft fees, and I will go into a branch and link this account to our savings account. Also, I had requested that at any time if this account is low, to pull funds from my other account ending in XXXX.
These are the overdraft dates XX/XX/XXXX- Overdraft XX/XX/XXXX- Returned fee ( I did not authorize a XXXX payment ) ^^ Being charged over {$60.00} fee on an item I did not even authorize to charge.

Complaint: We are Chase Bank customers.
On XX/XX/2019, between XXXX-XXXX XXXX, I attempted to withdraw {$2300.00} from the ATM located in the Chase Bank branch located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX , Washington . After the receipt prompt, the ATM screen abruptly changed. I did not receive a receipt. ( I do not remember what the following screen stated. ) The cash dispensing panel did not open nor did the ATM dispense any cash, I removed my debit card from the ATM and walked to the counter and told a teller that the ATM did not dispense cash during my transaction. The teller asked if I needed help and she walked me through the steps at the ATM but the ATM stated that the amount I was withdrawing exceeded the withdrawal limit. The teller checked my account and could not determine the cash limit I was permitted to withdraw from a Chase ATM and she was puzzled because the cash withdrawal limit is normally {$3000.00}. So, I withdrew {$2300.00} at the counter with the teller, not knowing that the ATM had debited my account {$2300.00} for cash I did NOT receive.
On XX/XX/XXXX, my husband checked our account and noticed that we had TWO {$2300.00} cash withdrawals. He called the claims department and they stated that it would investigate it within 10 days. Ten days! It turns out that the ten days must be business days because one claims department employee stated that Chase Bank has until XX/XX/XXXX to investigate. Our mortgage is due tomorrow and we do not have funds to cover it because of Chase Bank 's error.
Both my husband and I have called several times today, XX/XX/XXXX, to determine if we will be credited OUR money back to the account or charged for insufficient funds due to Chase Bank 's error. We also talked to a teller this morning at the XXXX XXXX branch and he stated he could not do anything to help us. We have been given conflicting answers about possible charges for insufficient funds due to Chase Bank taking our money and thus lowering account balance. We are under much stress worrying about damage to our credit rating, paying bills, receiving our money back, and charges for insufficient funds. This error was not our fault, except we trusted Chase Bank.
Ten business days is a long time to sit and wait for an investigation when bills have to be paid. This is OUR money that was taken from us from Chase Bank. I feel this is stealing not only our money but our credit rating and peace-of-mind. We are not being helped by Chase Bank in expeditiously resolving this matter.
