Complaint: On Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX I XXXX ( send money through an app ) to Chase Bank to cover pending charges. My XXXX money was pending clearly showing on my statement with the bank and one hour before my XXXX was to be deposited Chase then charged me an overdraft fee when clearly seeing that XXXX was going to be posted within the next hour. On XX/XX/XXXX I XXXX another {$20.00} to cover another transaction again my {$20.00} was pending and an hour before it was to be deposited Chase charge me another {$34.00} with a grand total of {$68.00} in 48 hours. I tried to call the bank and discuss this with them letting them know I'm a XXXX patient on Social Security XXXX SSI with an income of {$770.00} a month and any kind of fees would hurt me tremendously with my medication throughout the month they did not care. As I explained to Chase Bank on my Chase Bank app it clearly shows that my money from XXXX was pending to be put in there and that it clearly shows that they charged me an overdraft fee right before my XXXX money was to go in to cover pending charges. The charges had not even went through. I have been with Chase for 15 years and I've already closed one checking account and I would like to stay with them if they can work with me but if not I will close this account as well. I would like for somebody to help me with the situation because this is a big Bank charging big fees for nothing they clearly saw that I had money coming in there to handle the pending charges that had not even went through yet.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/19 XXXX pm Went to deposit a check with my card that goes to my fourth account that ends in XXXX and it deposited the money into my negative acct ending in XXXX. Within seconds of the ATM error I ran inside and asked for help the told me to call XXXX and noone could help me what so ever ..even though it was a atm error.

Complaint: Utter and complete incompetence throughout the entire process. I would never use a chase loan product again.
I am a XXXX XXXX and a XXXX XXXX XXXX. I understand loans and how to get them. I sent them every required document with in 48 hours of requesting it. The loan was approved and all set to go. 24 hours before close they found 'problems ' and needed more documents. Which we provided. They strung us along for about 2 weeks after that ignoring calls and emails. Continually blew deadlines and expectations. The issue was around low income ( but massive assets ). They still stated that they were able to provide the loan in a program for folks with low incomes but high assets. But after about 2 weeks they said they would not be able to put is in that program, that it was only for a primary residence. Which is enraging as they knew all along it was an investment property but strung us ( and the seller ) along. Chase also advertised a " Closing Guarantee '' If Chase is at fault missing your closing date ( which they clearly were ) they will pay you {$1000.00} See Here : XXXX XXXX XXXX I did not expect to get this mainly because they were so bad at everything but it sure feels like false advertising to me.
Fine through all of that I could at least accept their incompetence. We bought it cash. However I am still waiting on them to refund this {$500.00} deposit I put down.

Complaint: Chase First Card allowed XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to charge to my credit card an additional {$780.00}, four months after my stay there, without my authorization. The dispute revolves around points used to stay at the hotel that the hotel said was sufficient at checkout but four months later negated that agreement. I have attempted resolution with Chase twice. I never authorized the charge.

Complaint: To whom this may concern, Chase bank has not done what I the customer has asked them to do for nearly two years now. I asked a representative in the end of XXXX to remove me from chase mailing solicitation list. I still till this day recieve offers. I requested this when I learned that I became a individual affected by the XXXX data breach. Plus one of my personal accounts with chase was hacked into. Not the account I am about to speak about. When I called chase in XXXX at some point in time I was still in the process of paying off a cc with chase. I paid the cc off on XX/XX/XXXX last payment {$84.00}. See attached. I called chase this day and spoke with XXXX XXXX customer service representative and made this last payment and requested that a letter be sent to me indicating my last payment and that I wanted the account closed due to being at high risk of fraud due to the above mentioned data breach. XXXX who. I could barely understand said Okay.
I recieved the two letters in the mail. ( See attached. I noticed it didnt say account closed but I didnt look into it and trusted that the right thing was done that I the customer asked to be done.
Today XX/XX/XXXX I received a ready to use credit card in the mail. The account that I paid for and asked to be closed on XX/XX/XXXX! The account is still open. ( I really think chase needs to go back and listen to the XX/XX/XXXX conversation with myself and XXXX. ). I am highly upset and concerned that the account is still open. I called chase and spoke with XXXX who said that the account is still open. I explained to XXXX that the account should have been closed months ago and that I am highly upset and concerned due to my credit being at risk due to the XXXX data breach. I asked to speak with a supervisor. XXXX states Your over reacting and running yourself in circles. This isnt a big deal. I then asked XXXX to take my name off the mailing solicitation sending list to exclude me from getting any further credit card offers or loan offers. XXXX states I cant do that. At this point in time I The customer almost lost my cool, but continued to ask to speak to a supervisor. After five times of asking for a supervisor XXXX finally transferred me to XXXX. I couldnt believe that XXXX took my situation so lightly. It really amazed me and scared me to know that this kind of person was involved with handling my finances. ( this phone conversation needs to also be reviewed. The time was betweenXXXX and XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX Thursday ).
XXXX was calm and collected with her words and seemed to empathize with me much better, but responded like a robot. I explained the situation and right away XXXX closed the cc account ending in XXXX and said to me Yes we do have the ability to exclude you from the solicitation mailing list so that you wont recieve mail with offers for cc, loans and advertising. XXXX was wrong. At this point in time after being told I could not be excluded for years from chases mailing list I realized I needed to complain to another agency regarding chases horrible customer service and sloppy way of running a business. XXXX stated I am sending you a letter indicating that the account ending in XXXX was closed out today and that your name will be placed on the no solicitation given for offers etc.. Not once did either of these woman put any empathy or true understanding of what I was going through into the conversations. That is not the kind of individual I want handling my finances. This is scary. I have been battling since XXXX with this XXXX data breach trying to save my personal information from being hacked. I explained this to chase in XXXX and multiple times afterwards including today. No one at all has taken this seriously. This is my lively hood. Im sick and tired of having to remind chase to close my cc out. They keep it open for their satisfaction. I am the customer and I have the right to close any account I want without being questioned! Also, just so this is on record. I have a checking account with chase also. When I to, d XXXX that I wanted taken off the mailing solicitation list XXXX advised me that I would still recieve my checking account statements considering I donot do online banking. This is called CYA because if chase ends up screwing my checking up. This is proof!

Complaint: Ive been actively trying to resolve this concern with Chase bank for the longest time since I was reported late 30 days, twice, on my credit report due to no fault of my own.
I have spoke and confirmed this with a Chase representative who agreed with me the system Chase uses is false and leads to misinformation regarding accounts.
The Chase system does not show correct account activity when payments are made to their Auto Loan accounts until the entire balance is processed on its own.
Since the beginning of the lease, Ive had nothing but trouble trying to have my payments made and processed through chase without being charged some late fee when my payments are made on time.
Back in XXXX 2018, I noticed the payments I had been sending to Chase for my car were not being reflected on the balance. My car payment due is {$270.00} each month, if I submit a payment for {$170.00}, that payment does NOT get applied to the balance whatsoever. It will STILL reflect an amount of {$270.00}, instead of {$100.00} thats is owed, which is misleading and completely not fair.
It leads me to not know exactly how much is due after processing payments because even under recent activity, it does not show the past payments Ive made on the account. Only payments Ive made months prior show up and not recent made payments.
Its not fair Chase does not apply the amounts Ive paid to my car to help show the right balance due on my car, this purposely misleads customers like me and we end up being penalized for not paying when weve processed multiple payments to our loan.
I should have not been reported late 30 days for a past due balance of {$30.00} when I had made those payments and if chase updated the balances correctly customers such as myself would not have been reported late.
Im kindly asking for chase to review and kindly update my credit report to reflect good standing due to bank errors that dont seem to get resolved.

Complaint: I found employment on XXXX with a company name XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. As a XXXX XXXX. I was advised that I would be doing training and exams for a whole month XXXX. During that time I received reading material and tests via email.
On XX/XX/XXXX, I was assigned a purchase order, were XXXX deposit money on two of my credit cards XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, a total of US {$7000.00}. One of my credit cards was paid US {$4600.00} and the other credit card US {$2300.00}.
After receiving the payment and saw that it was showing on my account I decided to verify with my bank, JP Chase Morgan, that everything was good with my payment. I called my bank on XX/XX/XXXX around XXXX XXXX and one of their representatives told me the money and the transaction was in good statement that I can proceed.
After verifying with my bank and they said to proceed with the purchase I went and fulfilled the purchase order and send it where I was ordered to.
Three days later ,XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed that the money was removed from my credit cards account leaving me with the debt of the purchase order amount {$6400.00} plus {$400.00} that I was supposed to get paid for the time.
After seeing this I was very concerned and called my bank because the ONLY REASON why I did the purchase order was because my bank told me that everything was ok with the transaction, I trusted them since I was with Chase Bank since XXXX.
I got scammed because I trust my bank and now they, Chase, want to make me responsible for an amount of money that I didnt used and instead of they try to help me they decided to close all my credit cards including my business account as well, when I have always been a good customer of than and never had a late payment or any type of issues.
I made a police report, the case number is XXXX.

Complaint: I received a coupon which said " open or upgrade to chase sapphire banking account. transfer a total of {$75000.00} and maintain it for 90 days. Then I will get XXXX ultimate rewards bonus points. So I upgraded my account at a chase bank with the coupon and transfer {$75000.00} to my account on XXXX XXXX. Now 90 days past I have not received any points. I called chase customer service they said I have to to the branch which I opened my account to solve the problem. Then I went to the branch. A banker checked my account and told me the person who upgraded my account did not apply the coupon successfully. That's why I have not received the coupon. This is really wired because I saw the person who upgrade my account type in the coupon. And it is the bank 's fault. They said I can't get what they promise just because their mistake. this is unacceptable.
