Complaint: The amount is inaccurate! I never received a final account statement from the apartments that sent this to collections. No one can provide proof of charges or an explanation. I 've tried explaining to them there is a serious error but was told get an attorney! I work in the apartment industry & know for a fact the amount on my credit is NOT accurate and down right ridiculous!

Complaint: A representative from IQ Data International formally known as Rent Collect Global by the name of XXXX called me regarding a debt, she immediately let me know that there was a judgement against me and that they were going to start garnishing my paycheck. I contacted my local court here in XXXX County Washington and they do not have a any public records file against me. I called XXXX back to let her know of my findings, she immediately turned aggressive, she said she would not provide me with any documentation regarding the judgement or my debt, I wanted to make payment arrangements and she did not allow me to. She talked over me during the whole phone call, I could barely get a word out, she kept threatening me and said " you will see how good we will get you when your check gets garnished ''. She threatened to take legal action, she falsified taking legal action and she mistreated me.

Complaint: Received call from debt collector stating that an attempt to collect a debt. I politely required an invoice to be mailed to my house with instructions on how to pay. She declined and stated that the acts they get people do n't even know they have them and that she had no further details to offer me. I have not stayed at that apartment she stated in over 5 yrs and that I had no problem paying the money if I truly owed them by providing proof of what the debt was for? She stated I was " staling ''. Which if the representative stated that most debt they have people do n't even know they have it, how can people pay something they do n't even know that they 're suppose to pay?

Complaint: I was living in XXXX, Nevada in 2016 and signed an apartment lease for XXXX month. After about XXXX month, I wanted to terminate the lease due to the scorpion infestation of the dwelling. Prior to me initiating lease termination, the apartment company send a pest control service to treat for scorpions but it did not help. Terms of the contract allow early lease termination due to the un-resolvable issues with the dwelling that cause significant hardship and threats to health. The apartment company still told me that I had to pay early termination fee and now they turned over the collection on the fee to the collection company that tries to collect much larger amount.

Complaint: I have got two phone call from IQ data company for asking money. The first call I had with IQ data is called by a male, he told me I have owned money from my previous apartment. And the apartment send their company to collect the money. But, at that time, I have never seen any bill from the apartment or the bill with same amount. I was asking him the basic information to confirm if he is not a scammer. He only have my and the apartment 's name and the total amount of the bill. When I asking him to private me more information such as the detail for the charge on each item or service, my living address, the invoice from service party, etc. he start to ask me will I pay for what he asking for. I told him I can not give him a payment without have the information, and he is starting threatening me to hurt my credit if I am not agree to pay him now. I told him I will call PD to report this phone call and he was become mad and threatening more about my credit and told me I will have following lawsuit if I do n't pay him. I called PD and be told I need evidence in order to report this case. Today, I had the second call from IQ data for the same amount of money, but called from different number. ( first called from XXXX, second on called from XXXX ) The people who called me is a lady with fast speak. She told me I owe their money and force me to make a payment right away. I told her please private me the detail of the payment and I will pay for that if I truly owe money. She asked me '' will you pay now if I give you the information? '' I answered her, " yes, if the money is what I owe. I will pay it now. '' She yield me '' I just ask you, will you pay? Yes or No! '' I repeat what I was answered her before. She repeat '' I just ask you, will you pay? Yes or No! '' with higher volume. I felt offended, and ask her to allowed me to record the phone call. She start getting mad like the male who called me before. I asked her to give me her name and company name for recording and the charge for each of the item. She told me the each of the charge but it 's different from the amount she gave me. So I kindly asked she to repeat it. She told she already spend 15 min on me and do n't want to waste time on me. She start to threatening me to hurt my credit as well. I have recorded her voice as evidence. The collectors from IQ data are un-professional, rude and lack of patient. I have never owe any one money, I have down payment for my house, auto, and any other cost. I paid my credit card on time every month. If the money I truly owe someone, I will pay back at first time. I believe that not everyone mean to owe money, they may in a hard situation or never got bill like me. Service be nice and helpful is important. I hope the board can have a consideration of their registration, ban it as needed.

Complaint: I have made several attempts to request that " IQ Data '' ( The debt collector ) validate this alleged debt that they are stating that I owe with the first attempt sent in a certified letter dated XXXX XXXX, XXXX of which they never responded or acknowledged that they received it which is a violation of the FDCPA section 1692 ( g ) and the fact that they never responded in 30 days, this is not a valid debt therefore it needs to be deleted from my personal credit account with XXXX. The second letter was sent certified on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and the Third and final letter sent out certified on XXXX XXXX, XXXX of which as of the date of this complaint, they still have not responded. I have even filed a police report against IQ data and still no immediate response from them. I do not know who this company is or how they ended up with all my personal information and without my consent, and they feel it is okay to not abide by the federal laws that protect the consumer from fraudulent claims of debt collection and not answer any of my requests but still communicate with XXXX and not the consumer to advising them to continue to report a invalidated debt on my personal profile which I have not contract with them on nor have they provided me proof in a detailed " Bill '' that show how and when this alleged debt occurred or what is it for or that I owe anyone an alleged debt and they have the authority to collect on behalf of the person who may be claiming I owe a debt. At this point I believe I am a victim of Identity theft and Extortion from this unknown company trying to collect an alleged debt that is not validated and refusing to provide me proof that what they are saying I owe is accurate and really a lawful debt that I owe.

XXXX emailed IQ Data and myself the correct balance owed, which is {$18.00}. I have attached the updated and correct ledger showing the correct balance due of {$18.00}. IQ Data please mail a Letter showing the previous balance as incorrect and stating the correct updated balanced due. In addition, please add to the letter that the account is Paid and Closed and please delete this Mistaken account from my credit report as XXXX made the mistake and is at fault.
