Complaint: Hunter Warfield has refused to validate the debt on XXXX occasions, verbally in XX/XX/XXXX when they called me. They then called my brother and mother and disclosed it was for debt collection purposes, in XX/XX/XXXX when I sent a Do Not Call letter and a request for debt validation and in XX/XX/XXXX when I submitted another request for debt validation. Additionally, Hunter Warfield reports different amounts to the different credit reporting agencies.

Complaint: Hunter Warfield is collecting a debt i have requested validation of the debt and not received it as of yet. The letter I received from them states the client is XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX, I do n't owe XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX.
Also the initial request was made XXXX/XXXX/2015 and follow up request made XXXX/XXXX/2015 and XXXX/XXXX/2015. I have been ignored.
The only correspondence received from Hunter Warfield was on XXXX/XXXX/2015 stating they would investigate and remove the reporting ; however that never happenend

Complaint: XXXX offered to settle an account then refused when I didnt have a secondary phone #. Also RUDE and SARCASTIC Supervisor. I called Hunter Warfield regarding an alleged debt to ask if there was a possibility of removing from my credit report with full payment or settlement. The representative said that it can not be removed but she would certainly offer me a settlement of less than the full balance. When I asked what was the lowest amount she would accept she said there were some questions. I verified my name, address, and ONLY phone #. She asked for a secondary # to which I replied I did not have a home phone # and my place of employment didnt allow personal calls. She told me that without another phone # to put on the file she would not offer me a settlement. I told her I didnt understand that policy because I was prepared to close the account that day. She asked me for a friend of family members number and I asked why if she had a confirmed phone # for me. Calling a XXXX party when they have a good phone number for me would be an FDCPA violation. She said sorry. I asked to speak to a Supervisor. Supervisor got on the line and reiterated that they could settle the account. I said, Great! How much can you save me today to take care of it?? He said : I just need to updat the file with another phone #? I again told him that I only had XXXX number, that they had permission to call me on my cell manually but not by an auto dialer. I told himt here was no other # I could give him. He sarcastically said : When you pick up your cell phone and click on contacts you mean to tell me it 's empty?? I again asked why having a freinds phone # was so important and that having and using a XXXX party phone # would be an FDCPA violation. He said : " Fine pay the balance in full then. '' I asked him if it was normal practice to offer settlements to people who have XXXX phone # 's but not people with XXXX?? Doesnt that seem like discrimination? He said I can pay the balance in full if I do n't like it. We ended the call with me asking them to call back when they would like to offer me the settlement they first spoke of. He hung up. XXXX hour later the XXXX representative called me again and said : " what 's up with the account? '' Sarcastic and unprofessional. I asked if she was going to offer me the settlement figure and she said she needs a XXXX #. We ended the call the same way with me saying that I would gladly discuss with them when they were ready to call back and offer a settlement.
I do not understand their arbitrary practices of offering a settlement not do I understand their need for an alternate phone # for a friend or family memeber when they have a good contact number for me.

Complaint: I 'm a very small business owner who was the unfortunate victim of being given a stolen credit card over the phone for goods and service. I was the one who discovered the card stolen by reporting it to the police. I am out $ 1600+ because by the time I discovered it, the money was n't recoverable. I 'm guilty of being an idiot, but I am not dishonest. I 'm also a VERY small business owner and in this economy I live hand-to-mouth.
XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, my credit card processor, deducted $ 1400+ from my business checking with no warning, about a month later. That put my account into negative. My Credit Union rejected the ACH due to insufficient funds. In fact there was no indication on the ACH as to who initiated the transaction and my Credit Union had to do some research for me.
I signed up for my POS/Merchant Services through a XXXX party, had no contract to sign and therefore I did not have much information to go by in order to contact them in an attempt to resolve the issue.
After several attempts to talk to a physical person and leaving messages, I ferreted out an e-mail address and sent them XXXX explaining my wish to negotiate a payoff. I did n't at any time dispute my responsibility. It was only my wish to not be put out of business. I have an e-mail trail after negotiating a payoff that would involve them intercepting 60 % of my batches, that honestly did n't solve my problem. Plus they intercepted 100 % instead and I resorted to taking out a loan at an interest rate that 's disgustingly high in order to save my business.
They promised receipts and statements. They had to be continuously badgered for them. I did this via e-mail as I no longer trusted them to honor the agreement. I got XXXX letter half way through the process to initially notify me of my responsibility to pay the debt. Once I had paid them off, requested a statement showing that the same day I received a letter stating that I owed {$1200.00}. I called, and they assured me that my account showed a XXXX balance. Then, they suddenly ACH deposited $ 1300+ into my account. I called and e-mailed. I was verbally assured that it was being taken care of. I was notified that they 'd intercepted the required amount from batches in order to remedy this error and I have in my e-mail that the intercept would be removed from my account as I was paid off.
Two months later my bank account was ACH - $ 1400+ without warning. I spoke to my Credit Union, showed them my paper trail. They refused the transaction on my behalf and then revoked access to my account. On that day, I cancelled my account with them. Had to jump through hoops to have that confirmed and I signed up with a credit card processor that did not use XXXX XXXX and anyone affiliated with them.
I received another collection letter, which I disputed, showing them my paper trail, statements and proof of payment. They continued the collections process anyhow. I have since contacted an attorney who is willing to help me without billing me thus far. He suggested a Debt Verification letter, which I have sent. After 3 weeks of silence, my account has now been referred to a collection agency and have received a call today.
My problem is that I have asked for specific answers to questions and had been assured on numerous occasions that my account showed no outstanding balance. Even on a day that I received a collection call, I called them back and the woman on the phone could not find a balance on my account.
I have made every effort to pay them, have paid them and at this point I smell a rat. And even if I were inclined to throw money at it, I do n't trust paying them off again. And I ca n't afford to keep bleeding money to them either.

Complaint: Hunterwarfield debt collection company and I reached an agreement where I would pay {$2100.00} to settle a debt owed to springfield apartment and they would report the debt to Credit Bureaus as paid and closed. I finished making the payment on XXXX/XXXX/15 after XXXX payment and as of XXXX/XXXX/15 which is XXXX days later they have failed to report the debt as paid. I have spoken with XXXX and they inform me that Hunterwarfield has not reported the debt as paid even though customer representatives at Hunterwarfield keep telling me they have. At other times when I call Hunterwarfield they hung up on me. I would apprecaite assistance with this issue as Hunterwarfield promised me they would take 30-45 days to update the credit bureaus and have refused to do so and keep lying to me that they have.
