Complaint: I 've sent multiple letters to this agency about this not being my account. After being advised by XXXX I 've completed and sent a fraud affidavit via certified mail. I can see they received it but nothing has changed. See supporting documents. even the USPS tracking. I am a victim of identity theft and noticed a collection from Hunter Warfield. I 've attempted to dispute multiple times however no response on their end. Not sure what else to do. Police department told me to contact the federal trade commision which I wrote a formal complaint against Hunter Warfield in regards to this matter. The FTC also instructed me to complete a id theft affidavit through XXXX. Attached is my document. Thank you

Complaint: Hunter warfield has continued to report false information to the credit reporting agencies. Hunter warfield has been exstremly neglegant rearding aquring accurate account information on behalf of the creditor XXXX. After being removed from my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX, Hunter warfield has falsley reported yet again on my credit. I do NOT owe XXXX dollars to XXXX. in XX/XX/2015 i was late on my rent of XXXX $ and was subsequently evicted in XX/XX/XXXX. my least of 1 year was up in XX/XX/XXXX. I paid the amount of XXXX $ to XXXX. according to the laws of TN the carpet must be changed every 4 years and the previous owner of the aprtment as there two, I was there two, yet eagle point charged me XXXX for carpet. eagle point then charged me for XXXX mis for clothes that were on the floor. The state law stattes that apartments may not profit from the eviction. Hunterwarfield has not provided me a recipt from the carpet nor the claening. so in truth, there are no real charges to collect.

Complaint: Hunter Warfield is a debt collector that purchased a debt from XXXX, an apartment complex in XXXX. In XX/XX/2016, they fraudulently placed a collection account on my credit reports. Upon obtaining the account documentation from Hunter Warfield, it was clear that the account was fraudulent, and not only did I not ever owe XXXX ( and accordingly Hunter Warfield ) any money, they actually owed me money. However, my attorney made Hunter Warfield an offer of settlement - remove the collection from my credit reports, and I would not pursue recovery of the funds owed to me ( plus attorneys ' fees ). Although Hunter Warfield never responded to my attorney 's numerous emails and calls, they did remove the account from my credit report. Now, more than 6 months later, they have re-reported the same debt, which they know to be both fraudulent and non-collectible. This is a clear violation of both state and federal debt collection practices, and is only an attempt to extort me for the funds.

Complaint: I rented an apartment at XXXX. I completed two different leases with them. One for 15 months the other for 12 months in XXXX different apartments. I paid to transfer to a bigger apartment. I was forced to sign a new lease without even seeing the new apartment. I had a good history with them so I did n't think much of it. I was n't aware that the apartments were now under new management. The apartment smelled of animal urine and mold/mildew. The air conditioner did n't work. The stove also did n't work. I was forced to live in this apartment for weeks with no A/C in the summer. I asked management to address these issue numerous times and was ignored. My son has XXXX so I could not live there any longer. I moved out because they did not hold up their end of the lease by providing me a livable apartment. I had to look out of my son 's health.

Complaint: Hunter Warfield added collection to my report. I contacted them last year in regards to this item since I had no knowledge of the debt. They failed to respond with validation, but removed the item from my report. On XX/XX/2017, I received a bill. I responded with a cease & desist letter and stated I had no contract with Hunter Warfield, and that any damage to my credit would result in complaints to the CFPB and Attorney General, as well as a possible lawsuit. The item was added back to my report WITHOUT notification as is required once an item has been removed.

Complaint: I rented an apartment at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX WA. They are owned by XXXX XXXX XXXX. Part of our rent was paid by XXXX. Months after we moved out they said we owed back rent because they sent a refund to XXXX. XXXX denies this. ( Part of XXXX ) XXXX also says we could not have moved if we owed rent. XXXX could not produce a copy of the check, the check number or date sent. They had no proof. But continued to try to collect from us. Then they sent it to Hunter Warfield in Florida for collection. I asked for verification and disputed the debt. No verification was provided. I also asked them to stop calling me, a cease communication letter. To date they call me every day. I am sending another letter to get this stopped but they will probably ignore it. They threaten to report it to the credit agencies. Owed rent is not reportable anyway but they will list it as other. Also they have not taken us to court to get a judgement. I said I welcome court because I believe they could not prove their case. They just continue to harass with no proof.

Complaint: Hunter Warfield has a very unique style of harassment. They increase the amount of collection balance by only $ XXXX and report the new amount every month. So every month my credit score is injured by the fresh bad collection activity. They also call 4-5 times a day despite my telling them not to. The apartment building that charged me for paint an carpet are criminals themselves, I had reported the maintenance issues three times over the year I lived there. I am not paying the landlord for work that they should have fixed while I lived there and now they have Hunter Warfield trying to collect and hurting my credit monthly. This is a three year old claim!

Complaint: I rented an apartment from XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX and my landlord terminated my lease on XX/XX/XXXX with a 10-Day notice of termination giving my until XX/XX/XXXX to move out. I paid my rent up to XX/XX/XXXX as I did not move out by the XX/XX/XXXX date. The leasing company made every attempt to retain me as a tenant despite the notice of termination and I declined, so I moved out. I received a phone call from the debt collection agency requesting payment for the balance of the lease ( XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX ) I explained the situation described above, asked if they had the termination of lease document ( they said yes ) and asked then what are you trying to collect? The agent of the debt collection agency started to give legal advice on what a contract is how its upheld and further explained that the leasing company has the right not to have " people like me '' on there property. After trying to further explain and defend my position I realized I did n't have to and I told him I 'll just see them in court, ask them not to call me again and hung up. They called back ( this time the disclaimer of you are on a recorded line was not stated ) and started to make threats that I will be ruined financially, I should be a responsible person and pay my bills, my lease was terminated because the leasing company does n't want people like me on there property etc ...
